Eye color: His eyes are a shimmering Violet

 

Character color: His coat is a smooth Dark Imperial Blue. 

 

Mane/Tail/Other: His mane and tail are both a clean dark crimson red, with stripes of dark Tyran purple. Star keeps his mane neat, having it long enough to cover his whole face. He makes sure that at all times, it is down the sides of his face, though he also has half of it covering his left eye, though he can see straight through it. The shimmering Violet shines through the two colors, and is visible behind the mane in the way. The added color of the Crimson and Tyran make the Violet look different. He leaves his mane free to flow in the wind, though it always returns to its normal style once it calms down.

 

His tail, is long, but also neat. He has it so it is dragging along the ground, though only slightly. It just touches the ground. When their is any wind, it picks it up, making it raise above the ground a little, causing a flowing effect whenever wind is blowing towards her, which happens with even slight wind.

 

Physique: Star Shine is above average in some area's, namely, he is athletic, and can run fast. Although he runs fast, he can fly even faster, often flying at high speeds for fun. This kind of constant physical activity has given Star strong wings, and heightened endurance. Physical strength wise though, he is below average, not having the raw strength that most ponies do have. He always wears his Jet black scarf around his neck. On the insides of it, their is a very soft cloth like material that makes it very comfortable to wear, and the whole thing, including the cloth, is hard to tear, having been made magically by his parents from when he was very young. The scarf, when made by his parents had also been sown together with magical property's, and although he does not know it just yet, but the scarf has the power to heal just about any wound, whether that be a sore throat, a cut, what ever it is, it heals. Although it does not outright fix things like broken bones, it does prevent any lingering damage that might have occurred otherwise. 

 

Residence: Star lives in Ponyville, though he has two homes. He has his normal everyday cloud house where he stays normally, when he is not out preforming. His other home, is a cloud home that is closer to Sweet Apple Acres, though its not inside the property, its on the edge closest to Ponyville, a bit out of the way. Their, he keeps all his Music stuff, which is all the best stuff you can currently get, also in that home he has a full inventory of gear that he can use to set up a stage to preform just about anywhere.

 

Occupation: Star Shine is a musical Prodigy, good at all instruments, and is able to do a wide range of vocals also. His favorite is the Piano. For a job, he preforms all of Ponyville, well, he will start to. From their, he hopes to start playing around and Equestria. He is also a volunteer whether helper. 

 

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a piano, with a guitar resting against it with music floating on wind through it. The notes themselves are a bright reddish pink.

 

The day Star Shine got his cutie mark, was during his second year of school, the year he had formed the band. For months he had been practicing with them, trying to get their songs perfect. It had taken time, though they had done it. Once they were on stage, Star had showed up, expecting to see his four performers their, ready to play. But what he had found was something worse, he had found two ponies who refused to go on stage, and one more was sick. Star was worried. How was he going to do this? He had been depending on them to be here to help. The one pony left was a mare, who unknown to him would later change his life. She had gone up to him, and encouraged him. She knew his potential, she had seen it while he had been practicing with them. She managed to convince him to do it anyway, with just the two of them going up their. Star had been nervous, though after a little, he managed to get the guts to go up their. Once on stage, he noticed that he was stuck having to find a way to make this work. He walked towards the piano set up, and his friend went and grabbed a guitar. Instead of playing the practiced song, he had told the mare four chords to play, and from their, he had improvised. In the end, it turned out better then it would have been with the already practiced song. He had been suprised that he had pulled it off, and then, in a blinding flash, he noticed the cutie mark appear on his flank. He had noticed it, and he had been overjoyed. It was black at the time he got it, though that would change later. Straight away, he had gone back on stage, and he and his mare friend had played all night, until she literally passed out. After that, he brought her home, then, passed out himself right next to her on the floor.

 

Special Talent: Being able to play a wide range of instruments, including vocals. His cutie mark also has a hidden meaning, meaning 'healer'

 

Unique Traits: The main unique traits Star has, would be his ability to find messages in music. He can pick out hidden meanings in music, well, his own view on them. He also has a strong feel for Music, and depending on how he feels his music will reflect that. 

 

History: Star Shine was born in Ponyville, though he was a little unusual. When he was first born, while most foals would be either crying, or sleeping, he had been humming a tune. During his early foal years, before he could walk, everything in his reach he had been grabbing, and using as a instrument, whether it be something to use as a drum, or a stick to pretend to play a guitar on it, he had a obsession with music. As he grew up, he started going from pretending to play, to actually playing them. Whenever he got a chance, from the time he was walking he was playing various instruments. During this time frame, his parents had been proud of him, and supported him every step of the way. This continued until he started school.

 

Stars school life was rather ordinary, with the exception of constantly being in trouble, due to noise in class. Most of it, was him humming to himself. by this time, was not going crazy with whatever he could find, though he still hummed, and sang, to himself silently. Although he did this, in his class he had passed out in front of the rest. During the second year of school, he had managed to get a band together. At the time, Star only had four people who had joined, though they still preformed for all of Ponyville. This, was the event he earned his cutie mark in. The band still exists today. This was his first real time actually preforming with other ponies, and this was only the start. Through every year, he expanded the band, ending up with a group of twenty ponies by his seventh year, all proficient in one instrument, and they preformed often.

 

Star's relationship with his parents had never changed throughout this whole time, more often then not the songs he created would be for them, though during Stars fourth year at school, his parents had moved to Canterlot, and from their they had moved around Equestria, trying to find somewhere to start fresh. This was the hardest moment Star had to endure in his whole life, as he had chosen to stay in Ponyville, the place he had known his whole life. He had been sad to see his parents leave. After this had happened, all of Stars music had changed, before that moment it had all been music about friendship, and all of that, though for the next few months, all of the songs he played were sad, and his cutie mark had changed from the black it was, to a dark blue. The day they left, Star was not even a teen yet. They had given him his scaf, and since that day, he has never taken it off.

 

The following few years had been harsh on Star, the last two years of his schooling days had been spent with him sitting out every band performance. He started playing on his own at his home, and everyone forgot his name, even the band he had started forgot him. He didn't talk to anyone, not even the few friends he still had. Pretty soon, he was alone completely. During his last year at school, he had met a mare who had changed his whole life. She had gotten through to him, and pretty soon she had him talking a lot. He got back into playing music, though he was not back in the band. Instead, he set up his own home that he could set up a fully equipped stage, as well as enough musical equipment to equip a band. From their, he played music with the mare, the two becoming a good friends. During this last year, his cutie mark had gone from Blue to the Reddish pink it is now.

 

Once he graduated from school, the mare he had become such good friends with had moved away from Ponyville, though this time, it did not affect him as much. In fact, it helped him. She had put him back on the right track, and he was not about to let that chance go to waste. Quickly, Star started helping out around Ponyville. He went around, listening to tons of ponies preform, smiling as he remembered back to the band he had started all those years ago. He used all of the music he heard as inspiration to do more, and that also led to him becoming a volunteer whether helper.

Star from this point, had turned his life from bad, to good. Most days, ponies will find him walking through town, helping any pony he see's who needs it, often humming his own tune while walking along. More then once, he has gone back to the school, helping out with a lot of different things. At night, he dreams of the mare who had befriended him, and of his parents, who he knew were somewhere, happy, just like he was now. Currently, Star has been just collecting tons of musical gear, awaiting the day he would get a chance to use it.

 

(At this point, i feel i dug myself into a hole... Is it a bit to repetitive? I tried a different way of writing the history, don't know how well it worked out )

Character Summary/Personality: Star has a mixed personality. Although the mare had made him a lot more joyful, the isolation he had put himself in had done its course, causing him to be extremely shy to the point he will not even talk to them, though all of that fades the moment he picks up a instrument, or starts to sing. Even if he is not playing it, he is still able to talk, and not nervously either. Throughout his foalhood, he had sung every day at least ten times, and he still did, though not once had he ever gotten a sore throat. Unknown to him, that was the scarf he had, which was imbeded with magic properties. To Star, the most important thing is having fun with music, at least he thinks so. Although he thinks music is the most important thing to him, the thing he actually cares the most about is his friends, or anyone around him, even if he does not know them. He goes out of his way to help anyone who needs it. Although normally either Shy, or joyful, Star also can get really mad if he sees someone damage any type of musical equipment, often causing him to chase the person down. And although he will never admit it, that was a cover up to show how much he cared for all those around him.

Personally, I feel MORE detail is better than less, so I have no problem with the length of the fields here!
