Zeig Posted March 31, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 31, 2015 ⚈ If this looks at all familiar to you, then you probably checked out my other Canterlot Chronicles OOC Thread that was made, sometime back in December. I am still working on that RP, but I eventually came to understand that the magnitude of what I was trying to do with Eidolon Covenant was simply too unmanageable for me to handle at the time. I will still be working on Eidolon, but very slowly and in small increments. ⚈ So instead, I've now designed a smaller RP with the same basic principle - Penultimate Paradise is an action orientated Adventure RP based off classic Point and Click games. However, it is much smaller in scale and will be much more manageable, hence a much more compact and to-the-point introduction here. This RP will hopefully test the waters, see how well RPers respond to this type of RP, and give me a better idea of what I can except for Eidolon, should I ever get that one up and running. ⚈ Just post in here if the premise interests you into thinking you'd like to join, and also mention which character you'd like to join with. Limited spots, but I ask that you be fairly active. As with Eidolon, if you become inactive in both the RP and OOC, your character will be removed to continue on with the story. ⚈ Thanks for reading! I have two that are literally employed as theives, plus my dragon that likes to take things that intrest him, even when said item doesn't belong to him. That only leaves two characters, I think, that I've apped in CC. I'm aware that I can use WoE characters too, just thought that was kinda funny. Sadly I can't except everyone (I mean I could, but then the RP would move at a snail's pace and I'd probably lose track of everything and it'd end in a big disaster and the world would explode). But if you were really interested in this RP, feel free to stick around, help out with the puzzles (if someone asks for help, don't spoil a puzzle if you happen to have the answer!), and see if you like the feel of the RP. I've decided to go with Nocturne Wisp, Elderflower, Marusha Moonlight, and Flaxen Feather for this RP. The main thread is now open for posting from the four of us, so go ahead make your opening posts as soon as possible! Remember, two to four paragraphs is plenty for this RP, so don't feel pressured to bang out a ten-paragraph essay on how your character got his or her ticket (unless you really, really want to, then by all means!) Zeig Posted April 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted April 16, 2015 The last thread I ran that was similar to Paradise relied heavily on directions, and the characters knowing which way to move, so I always regretted not making the character placements more clear for the RPers. This thread will probably not be as direction-heavy (and the map might not even be needed at all, since the character's progression is more scripted), but I decided to go ahead and do it anyways. You host the best threads But just a heads up, I spilled some water on my laptop and have to leave it off to dry. It was still working fine but I shut it off to prevent damage. I'm not turning it back on for three or four days to make sure it's totally dry. So I'll be without a computer until then. Right now, I'm borrowing one for a few minutes to give everyone a heads up.
