Vanillapop Posted April 14, 2015 Report Share Posted April 14, 2015 I thought it could be really fun to have a semi-adventure RP taking place in the always eventful Everfree Forest. C: Perhaps set around a spooky urban legend (like the Headless Pony). The legend could obviously be false, but lead to a series of fun circumstances while ponies try to avoid the uncertainty of the Everfree Forest. It just seems like the sort of place that cries out for urban legends that ponies might believe for one reason or another, while also being the kind of place one feels inclined to enter. Maybe an anonymous mystery camping flyer found its way throughout the greater area, and so ponies who are brave or looking for something exciting to do respond to the flyer and show up to spend the night in the Everfree Forest? Like the flyer could be advertising a camping trip into the Everfree, but have vaguely chain-mail like qualities, like "if you read this flyer and don't attend the camping trip, the evil *insert legend* will leave the Everfree Forest to haunt you forever" *ominous lightening crackle!*" ... Or maybe it's just an old campfire legend someone tells. Just some thoughts! If anyone is interested in pursuing an idea like this, I'd love to try and set something up that's open and fun. It seems an idea like this could lead to all kinds of impromptu adventures, but I'd be interested in seeing what kind of urban legend piques anyone's interest! I was thinking something along the lines of the chupacabra, only it "sneaks up on unsuspecting ponies and gobbles them up". xD Just an old campfire story that is greatly exaggerated, but spooky enough that ponies would be nervous or concerned about it. Vanillapop Posted April 14, 2015 Author Report Share Posted April 14, 2015 I'd imagine it's a trip that anypony could attend regardless of their age, although if a foal were attending, they'd probably need an adult chaperone given it's over night in a dangerous place. c: Whatever age of character is welcome, though I imagine most of the ponies in attendance will be young adult to adult aged. Your guy might be a little annoyed when he discovers the sleeping bag Pocket brought for him, is his sister's (Docket) old bag. And is very, very pink. And covered with images of princesses.
