SunsetSombra Posted October 14, 2015 Report Share Posted October 14, 2015 Hey there, I'm Sunset Shimmer - I came to the human world from a magical world called Equestria, which is populated by colorful talking ponies...No, I'm not crazy, it really does exist and I should know, I WAS one one of those colorful ponies up until now. Don't believe me? here's an old picture of mine taken while I was attending Celestias School for Gifted Unicorns! My coloration is pretty intense compared to most other ponies and my cutiemark certainly holds strong when viewed alongside many others in Equestria...although normally I'm not really one to brag about that anymore. Sure, I might have been good to that once, but those times are behind me thanks to recent events of the not so recent past that helped shift me a into better perspective. {Lets just say things happened - it's a long story, and I'm not gonna tell it here!}Still, now that I've found out about how much better life can be around others, I've taken a lot of time to just kick back and appreciate what I have now. Overall, things have been great at Canterlot High and with any luck, things will only ever continue to get better now that me and my friends are keeping tabs on the strange levels of Equestrian Magic that came into this place a little while ago when I, as some would put it, 'came to town'. Consider this a little personal tour and commentary about life as an Equestria Girl, as I poke at the world around me and ponder with interest at just how different life is between this world and Equestria...at the very least, it'll be an interesting read and hopefully something that will provide folks with some enlightening thoughts about the events that take place beyond the mirror, and how it's really not ALL so bad here! Here's to you, people who will inevitably be reading - I look forward to telling things from my point of view...and even sharing a few silly things now and then - but for now, keep rockin' it! SunsetSombra Posted November 8, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 8, 2015 I felt it was a wonderful comparitive moment of Sunset ascending to that worlds equivilent of an Alicorn - however, that doesn't mean it will affect her in any way regarding her equestrian pony appearance, as no doubt that will still be regular ol' Unicorn - Not that this matters, Pony sunsets not happening anytime soon. SunsetSombra Posted November 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2015 A cute l'il Sunset/Twilight fic by the name of Fractured Sunlight has recently caught my attention, might be worth folks poking at! :3 As kids, Twilight and Sunset were best friends, but a tragic accident cut their friendship short. Years later, Twilight investigates the incidents at Canterlot High and comes face to face with what appears to be a literal ghost from her past.
