Mane/Tail: White, with light blue streaks, it’s long, flowy and often kept out of her way with a pony tail on top of her head, and two on the sides, held back with a headband to make it look more unified, her tail is similar in it’s long and wavy-ness


Physique: Her build is more on the lithe side, standing taller than the average mare, and rather flexible and athletic


Residence: Canterlot


Occupation: Part time competitive athlete, Part time student at one of Canterlot's prestigious and advanced schools.


Cutie Mark: a Purple and yellow striped fire cracker, exploding off the top


History: Sugar Coat’s name was given to her due to the color of her mane, but it has nothing to do with her personality in the slightest! Ever since she was a little mare, she has always been rather dead pan, blunt, and tended to fly solo. For a while her parents were afraid that her antisocial behavior would make her suffer academically and socially!

However Sugar Coat had a spark in her, that caused a wonderful explosion one day, when her class got together for a school vs school relay race, it was just a small game, all she had to do was hold the flag in her mouth and run the last leg of the race! 

When it was her turn she seemed to explode with speed, with movement, with ENERGY! Running as fast as her little legs could carry her, till she scrambled to the other side! The finish line!...Riiight behind another pony, which made her sulk, she’d come in third place!

Though the glow from competing glew within her, she knew it, right then and there she wanted to be the best! No matter at what she did! It was her competitive nature , and tendency to be intensity in a rather small package that won her her cutie mark.

After that Sugar Coat seemed to be a three way contradiction! Her name was sweet and implied she softened the truth, but was always blunt, she would study late into the night, and get great grades in school, and yet would also compete in many sport teams, soccor, archery, and track being a few of them! Her competitive nature leading her on to do better and better things!

It was due to this strive for excellence that Sugar Coat landed a scholarship in Canterlot at one of the high end, advanced schools, where she currently resides, diligently studying, sitting in the stands looking bored despite extreme excitement during WonderBolt showings, and still honing her athletic skills.


Character Summary: Sugar Coat is a blunt, stubborn, and abrasive pony, she says what she thinks and doesn’t care what others say about her, which can make her seem inconsiderate at best and RUDE at worst, not to mention her competitive nature can make her seem like her only focus is winning not being a good sport, or a team player.

Granted none of that is true, when Sugar Coat is on a team she devotes herself to them, very loyal, and while she is blunt, it’s always honest bluntness, as she doesn’t feel like the truth NEEDS Sugar, it needs to be exactly what it is.

Yes she is extremely competitive, yes she is blunt, and seems to carry herself with a bit of smug superiority but she’s just not had the chance to truly let her walls down and embrace the slightly insecure pony that sometimes wonders if she just got her cutie mark for being a big show off.
