Species: Unicorn

Coat Color: Black
Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Silver, short/casual, flippy type mohawk (like Rainbow Dash's but shorter).
Physique: Skinnier than most ponies, slightly athletic.
Cutie Mark: None yet.
Origin/Residence: Born in Canterlot, now lives in Ponyville. Frequently visits Canterlot using a wing spell.
Occupation: Ponyville Librarian
Motivation: To promote literacy and get her Cutie Mark!
Likes: Being alone, pleasant smells, eating raw cookie dough, playing tag, reading comics
Dislikes: Brussels sprouts, large crowds, disorganization
Character Summary: ShadowMist is a filly who a little sore about not having her Cutie Mark yet. While she enjoys her job, her town, and her family, she would really like to know what her special talent is. There are lots of things that she likes, but nothing she is especially good at. ShadowMist is a hard worker, but hasn't discovered something that she's exceptionally good at and would enjoy doing all her life.

She's had her job at the library for a couple of years. It's not something she particularly enjoys, but the work is easy, and the pay is enough to get by. She makes a lot of trips to Canterlot, at least once weekly, taking books to and from the castle library for Twilight Sparkle. Generally, Twilight just leaves the books out that need to be returned, along with a note of what she needs, and ShadowMist picks them up when she gets a chance.

ShdowMist has always been very shy. For the first several years of her life, she was schooled at home, so she didn't have a lot of social interaction. Because of this, ShadowMist is a big nerd and bookworm. She likes to write and read, both regular books and comics.

Her favorite games are hide and seek and tag. ShadowMist is a terrible cook, but she loves to eat raw cookie dough (hey, no baking required!). Her favorite food overall is popcorn though. ShadowMist isn't fond of large crowds, due in part to being shy and also because she's a little claustrophobic (though she doesn't always admit it).

ShadowMist was born and raised in Canterlot, where she spent the first few years of her life. However, her parents soon had to move to Ponyville to look for work, and ShadowMist had to leave her few friends behind. ShadowMist came to like country life, and would never move back to Canterlot if given the chance. The high life and big city no longer suit her now that she has found a new lifestyle.

Since she likes reading so much, ShadowMist got a job at the Ponyville library, as (what else) a librarian. ShadowMist enjoys quiet as well, so it's a perfect job for her. She's also a bit OCD, so putting away and organizing books is a great outlet.

ShadowMist aspires to be an author, but she's not sure if she's good enough. She reads so many books that she feels all the good ideas are taken. She hasn't really made any friends, but she hopes that getting a job and getting out more will help her to come out of her shell.

In your character summary you're missing a D from Shadowmist. Seems a little thin for a profile and there isn't a lot going on for her. Specially since we're already having a number of ponies only settling in ponyville. If you make sure they're in Canterlot a lot more often that would be awesome. Also approved. C:

Ah thanks, fixed! Yep, pretty much any day she doesn't work she's in Canterlot, but housing is expensive there.
As for the profile, her character will hopefully flesh out more with RPing.
