Name: Peachy Glow

Eye colour: Baby pink
Coat: Pale green, bordering on blue.
Mane/Tail: Pink with paler highlights, she keeps her mane long with some well styled bangs at the front.
Physique: Average, healthy size and weight normally – currently plumper due to pregnancy.
Residence: Cloudsdale
Occupation: Nursery Teacher
Cutie Mark: A baby sling carrying a big pink heart.

Unique Traits: Walks with a bit of a waddle due to her baby bump, often seen talking to her stomach. Despite knowing exactly what comes with the job of a Nursery Teacher, she is a very fussy mare. Stickiness comes hoof in hoof with children, but not in Peachy's nursery (or anywhere in Peachy's life for that matter) - everything is immaculate. Especially her mane and tail - she always sure to keep them tied up away from any dirt, grime or grubby hooves. Very rarely will she let the little fillies brush and style her mane - despite their never ending pleas. This also applies to other ponies - she finds it excruciatingly annoying when other ponies touch her mane.

 

History: Peachy Glow was born in Cloudsdale to Pegasus parents and always enjoyed her life in the clouds. When she was old enough she was sent to Nursery with other foals her age and she got along immensely well with them all – never falling out with them over anything – not even when her favourite pink crayon got broken!

 

As she grew up her care for other ponies never waned, but it was the foals she loved the most. Once she reached fillyhood, she gave up her recess most days to help out with the younger, kindergarten classes.

Peachy never fussed about getting her cutie mark. She knew exactly what her calling in life was and there was never any doubt in her mind what her cutie mark would tell her. She believes that it is this confidence that made her mark appear early on in her fillyhood – when she was helping a young colt that had fallen down and scraped his knee. She had just finished putting the band-aid on his leg when there was a tell-tale flash. Really, the young colt was more excited than Peachy was - he wouldn’t stop talking about getting his own cutie mark for the rest of the day!

 

Once Peachy had finished school she returned to the nursery where she had attended, caring for and looking after foals day in and day out – not everypony’s idea of a dream job!

One day however, Peachy wasn’t feeling quite herself so she decided to take a quick visit to the nurse, only to learn that she was going to have her own foal! Delighted and overjoyed, her first thought was to rush back to work and tell all the little fillies and colts back at the nursery the good news!

Peachy is currently still working as she is not due for a while – though that doesn’t stop the never ending babble of “When is the baby coming Ms. Glow?” questions from the foals!
 

Character Personality: Eternally cheery and bright, it is very rare to see Peachy Glow sad or moody! She likes to find the good in everything and although some may see that as a flaw, it has never led her wrong. She’s a firm believer in silver linings and can make something good out of any bad situation. She never stops caring about any pony – constantly thinking about friends or foals from years ago. She likes to do nice things in abundance and can often be seen baking a batch of cookies or writing little compliments on napkins for the waiters in a café!

Character Summary: Peachy Glow is very aware that many ponies find her positive attitude may get on some ponies nerves, but she does not let that affect her at all. She knows when to be serious and is good in a crisis. She’s a loving mother figure for all around her and chances are if you drop in she’ll have something nice in the oven and the tea brewing, always ready to listen and to care.

In essence, Peachy Glow is the go-to gal if you ever need a helping hoof, or a shoulder to cry on. She’s always ready to lend an ear!

I realise she isn't pictured as a pegasus.. but I just needed to use this design I bought.

Hi! I'll go ahead and give this a review for you

Overall, this is a good looking app. It just left me with a couple of questions.

The unique traits section has to do only with traits that would occur while she is pregnant. I'm assuming eventually she will have her foal and then it might be nice to have some other unique qualities besides her behavior during pregnancy.

Being pregnant seems to be an important part of this character which is fine of course, just perhaps build a little bit more into her character so that once she has her foal you still have lots of character info to go build on.

My second question does not necessarily need an answer but just wondering; do you plan on developing the other parent in this pregnancy as a character?

Is this in terms of just her Unique Traits or her history as well? Sorry if it seems obvious, I just want to make doubly sure.

I do have an idea for a character that could fit the bill but as for now, I'm not 100% sure.
