Coat: Although it looks white for most, is actually a really (really) light pink.
Mane/Tail: She has a long mane and tail that wave around her gracefully, which has light blue, pink, blue and green colors in it.
Physique: Celestia has a really tall and slender body, she being the tallest pony in all Equestria, as well as having all the abilities and magic of the three main pony races.
Appearance:

Residence: Canterlot Castle.
Occupation: Princess of the day and Co-ruler of Equestria with her younger sister.

Cutie Mark: A yellow  with orange sun. The solar flares that come out of the sun look like they are spinning around the center of it. Her cutie Mark represents her power over the sun and her ability to rule over the ponies.

Princess Celestia got her cutie mark at the same time as her sister, which differently from everypony else, was at an older age, when she was a fully grown up mare. When Star Swirl the Bearded showed her and Luna how the unicorns lowered the sun and the moon every day, and all the magic that was needed in order to do it, Celestia got worried abut them. She and her sister used their Alicorn powers to do it for them. Both managed to move them gracefully, and even felt stronger after they did it. Soon after she landed, Celestia, as well as her younger sister, got her cutie mark.

Unique Traits: Princess Celestia is the most powerful pony of all Equestria, she having not only a vast knowledge of spells thanks to her age, but also being able to cast them more powerful than any other pony, even more thanks to her Alicorn status. She is also able to move the sun and moon up and down on her own with no repercussion at all, thanks to her cutie mark.
She, as well as her sister, do not age, but whether that is true or they age really slowly, as well as if that also applies to the other two alicorn princesses and the new born baby alicorn, is still unknown.

History:

History has a tendency to forget things over the course of time, even more when the records of old times are lost fr any reason, that is the case of Princess Celestia and her younger sister, Princess Luna.

Nopony knows when or where they were born, or even if they were born as alicorns, or if at some point in their lives they became those majestic and really odd beings. Many records were lost of that time, and only tales prevailed, but it was not until the discovery of the old journal of the two sister by Celestia's old apprentice and princess of Friendhsip, Twilight Sparkle, that several fragments of her past were revealed.

The two princesses had been alive since the times of the three pony tribes, the two already alicorn beings, but not princesses of equestria, or even have their cutie marks yet, the only known ponies that had their Cutie Marks revealed at an old age,

The history depicted in the journal started when Celestia and her sister met Star Swirl the Bearded, as well as his three companions in that moment: Private Pansy, Smart Cookie and Clover the Clever. The four of them had a proposal to the two sisters, that the two became the rulers of the new kingdom just established by the union of the three tribes, Equestria.The reason behind this was that they, as alicorns, represented the union between the three species.

The two sister accepted this and they soon became the princess of Equestria. Star Swirl decided to build their castle, the castle of the two sisters, in the ever free forest, as they had discovered the tree of harmony in it, and they wanted to be close to it if they needed it's help one day. There were several problems along the construction of the castle, but eventually, and thanks to the sisters, it was eventual be finished. Celestia worked on most visual things and rooms, working on libraries and studies to work, while her younger sister gave the castle secret rooms and passages around it.

Time passed and the two sisters started to know better the different ponies that conformed their new kingdom, Star Swirl tough them both new spells, and her sister how to move the stars, but one day, he showed them how the unicorns moved the sun and moon, and what was the cost. The two sisters, shocked by this, decided to do it for them. Their horns glowed, and the two sister gracefully moved the sun up and the moon down, and they even felt stronger when they did it. As soon as the two alicorn princesses landed, the two got their cutie mark, Celestia having a big sun as it.

Much is unknown past that time. The two sisters ruled the kingdom until they faced their real first challenge. Discord, the element of chaos. He cough them off guard and managed to overthrow them at first, since their powers were not enough to defeat him, even for the strength their status as alicorns gave them, so the two decided to use what they had been saving for an emergency. The elements of harmony. With the aid of them, the two sisters were able to petrify Discord and defeat him, and used him as a garden decoration to never forget that he was imprisoned in stone.

As time passed from the appearance of Discord, a second evil creature appeared. Tirek and his brother. The two had decided to go to the flourishing kingdom to become stronger, but Tirek's brother soon became friend of Star Swirl and he warned him about what his brother had planned to do before heading back to where he came from.
Star Swirl warned the princesses and they were able to stop him before he could cause much trouble, getting rid of most of his power and sending him to the tartarus

A long time passed since that last incident, and one day, she had to fight what she had never expected to. Her own sister. Luna's heart had been filled with hatred and jealousy over her older sister, making her become the evil Nightmare Moon. Celestia was not powerful enough to defeat her sister, even more since she couldn't bare to fight her, so she used the elements of harmony to save Equestria once more, but at a high cost. She banished her sister to the moon for 1000 years and both lost their connection to the elements that tragic day, and forcing Celestia to move the sun and the Moon every day on her own.

Celestia was never able to forgive herself for that. She spent all her life past that point doing what she could to help the ponies around equestria, trying to compensate what happened, but many ponies had forgotten the old princess of the night.

Some years before the return of Nightmare Moon, Celestia found a small pegasus filly that seemed to have the power of love on her side. She adopted her as her niece and soon made her the first alicorn known to be ascended. This filly was princess Cadence, who would soon become the princess of love
A few years after that, Princess Celestia was... intrigued one day by a sudden burst of magic coming from one of the classrooms in her school for gifted unicorns. When she went to investigate, she found a small filly with incredible powers she was yet to control. After reverting what the filly had done, Celestia decided to take this filly as her personal student in order to teach her how to control her magic, but she felt there was more to her, that she  had a great destiny ahead of her.

She spent her time teaching her young student magic and new things. She was happy that she was really eager to learn new spells and stories, but she always overlooked what friendship was about, since she said she didn't needed it.

It was not until the the day of the summer sun celebration that her student had come to her with the news that in that day, Nightmare Moon was going to return. Celestia knew perfectly well that, but just told her to go to the town of ponyville and assist with the celebrations, and make some friends when she went there. Her student was rather skeptical at first, but did as she was told. Celestia knew that she was going to play a mayor role in the return of her sister.

When Nightmare Moon came back, she was eventually defeated and returned to her old self, Princess Luna. Celestia was so happy to see her old sister, and accepted every apology she gave her. She felt equally guilty for what had happened so many years ago. Soon, Celestia made sure that Luna was to become a princess again and she could return to her old duties after tasking Twilight to stay in ponyville, learn about the friendship and report her findings to her every week.

Different events took place soon afterward, a changeling invasion, the return of Discord and the Crystal Empire, but her student was always there to save the day, where she had failed to protect her ponies, and as a reward for all what she had done, and finishing a spell not even Star Swirl was able to, she rewarded her with making her an alicorn and the princess of Friendship.

Even after that, several more incidents happened, The everfree forest attacking, Tirek returning and the crystal heart being destroyed by a new born baby alicorn, but she knew she could count with her student and her friends, as she had always done.
 

Character Personality:
Princess Celestia is a wise pony, as she had lived a really long time in order to get all the knowledge and power she currently has. She is usually a calm pony that takes the safety of the ponies she rules really seriously, and would do anything in her power to protect them from any harm, although she sometimes likes to fool around with the ponies, and from time to time, she enjoys making small pranks or have fun with some havoc.
She is known to attend all the events she can around Equestria and usually interacts with the different nations around Equestria to promote political agreements between them, but on different occasions, she had asked her student, Twilight Sparkle, to take care of them.
She is very proud of her sister, nice and star student, and loves them with all her self, and knows she can count with Twilight when help is needed,

Princess Celestia likes reading book and studding magic, but not as much as her student. She also really loves cakes, of almost every flavor and type, eating them with the same love for each one. She also cares a lot about everypony she rules over in Equestria.
She usually dislikes being forced to have to fight for the safety of her citizens, as she had to make sure they are safe, and wouldn't even dare to be defeated for their sake, and will do whatever it takes to protect them.
Celestia is also the pony that doesn't doubt when she has to act, and usually thinks even before doing it, but can also improvise over the march when she can't come up with a plan or doesn't have time for one

Character Summary:

Princess Celestia has lived a really long time along with her sister, ruling over Equestria since the days of the union of the three tribes to current times, in which she and her sister had faced many strong adversaries, going from the element of chaos itself, up to Celestia's own sister when she became Nightmare Moon, but the sun Princess has managed to overcome those adversities in order to protect the ponies she had sworn to protect since her coronation.

Celestia has seen a vast amount of things in her life and had learned a lot from her past mistakes, as well as her own personal studying trough the centuries, as alicorns as herself and her sister don't age. She had gathered a vast knowledge of spells that she is considered one of the most powerful spellcasters of all Equestria, and even one of the strongest ponies of all.

Celestia has also had her fair amount of problems, as she was almost defeated by Nightmare Moon when she first appeared and was actually defeated by Chrysalis in a magic fight when she and her changelings invaded Canterlot during Shining's armor and Cadence's wedding, but she had managed to pull trough at the end with the help of the elements of harmony.
The princess had decided to leave the defense of Equestria in the hooves of her ex-student and Princess of Friendship, as she and her friends had managed to defeat almost every threat that Equestria had faced, although the princess will do everything in her power to also help them in what they need.

Overall: There's a lot of spelling and grammar errors that need correcting. It looks like it needs a couple more read through sessions to look for errors. Including spacing and paragraphs, capitalization, and correct work usage.

Ok the grammar looks a lot better! Now, if you could work on the personality a little more? Perhaps likes and dislikes, or if there are any conflicted emotions in this character? Does she ever second guess herself? Just need to add some more depth to the personality. You're almost there!
