Sol hummed as she followed him and kept his back covered. She glanced around and checked her motion tracker. It was just them which was good, however this view of all these dead bodies made her sigh. Poor civies..... Soldiers and alike. Her steps echoed as they came to a split and heard the screams. She awaited orders to continue.

Sky took pictures of the corridor, it was... disgusting to say the least. but he needed evidence that this was happening. He kept going until he noticed the path going in two directions. One.... the bodies became worse... The other looked like computers. But as he stared down the worse corridor, he could have sworn he heard something, though what, he had no idea.

"I have a bad feeling about this... im going to check this where this... hall of death leads. Mind getting the computers for me, then catch up?" He asks her, staring down the corridor with his gun raised.

Sol looked passively down the corridor of death for a few moments and thought it over before giving a nod and patting his back gently.

"Got it. Just be careful okay?" She said. It was the first sentence she spoke through the whole mission. She walked off to the computer room and began typing around. Downloading what they needed.

He nodded, staring at her through his visor. She was right, he needed to be careful. When he felt the pat, he just grinned at her for a moment.

"Will do, be careful yourself. Once you have what we need, radio check. Depending what is going on down this.... death hall, i might need help. See you in a bit" He replied, then started to walk down the death corridior. He looked at the bodies.... all of them mutalated, missing limbs, it was disgusting to say the least. As he walked down, he started to hear screams.

Ah dammit...

Once he heard it he started to move faster, keeping his rifle raised as he moved down quickly. They were human screams, he really was hoping he wouldn't find one of these hung up ones alive...

In the Computer room, which isn't as gory as the hallway, IF Sol was looking around during the download, she'd see the back half of the room had been modified. The UNSC Computers having camera feeds, most of which being damaged and showing only static, others showing empty cells, others showing cells with corpses dumbed in them. On the console, the main buttons being 'Release all Security', 'Lockdown' and 'Gas procedure'.

If Sol was to press 'Release all Security', a second warning sign would pop up stating 'Continueing will disable all security on this floor, this includes all Prisoner Locks, Restraints as well as disable the lock on the armoury. This is an emergence reaction only, do you wish to continue'.

If she were to press 'Lockdown', this warning sign would appear: 'Activing a lockdown means the facility has been compromised. All cells will be magnetically sealed as well as all bulkheads. Emergence protol only'.

And the final button, 'Gas Procedure', would come with this: 'Activing this Procedure will vent toxic neuro-toxins throughout the entire facility. All forces NOT assigned a special issue gas mask will die as a result'.

As Sky continued down the hall, the bodies continued along with him, as well as that single scream of pain. Eventually, Sky would find the screamer. a Human, tied to a wall, his legs missing as he screamed in pain. Standing in the room, a single human with a Assault Rifle in his hands. He looked at the man curiously on the wall, before pressing a button on the control panel, and out of nowhere, a spike shot through the pinned man's chest, causing another torrent of screams as blood leaked from his body, it was only a matter of time till he bleed out and died. With that knowledge, the human turned to the open door.

When he spots the Spartan, he would raise his Assault Rifle, but instead of pointing it at the Spartan, he points it at himself, and pulls the trigger, his bullets ripping through him until he drops onto the ground, dead. He looked like any other human, except for one thing the Spartan would see as the human looked at him. His eyes were a silver colour, and looked lifeless.

The screams got louder as he moved further in, and as they got louder, he started to move faster. He wanted to find what ever was causing this. Though when he saw it, he couldn't even comprehend the horror. On the wall was someone without legs, and a guard staring at him. Sky raised his rifle at him, waiting to see what would happen. Then, he saw the spike impale the body, making it worse.

He was about to rush in when the guy saw him, the guard raising his rifle, and in response Sky already had his rifle raised and was about to shoot, then, he heard rounds flying off, and the guard die. He shot himself. Sky ignored it, rushing over to the guy on the wall, watching as he slowly bled out. He needed answers.... though not like this. He took a few steps back, raised his rifle aiming at his head. He closed his eyes, firing twice. The sound of two supressed shots would not have been heard, but the loud ring of bullets from the guard might. He sighed, opening his eyes and looking at him. At least the pain was over for him.

He walked over to the guard, and the first thing he noticed was the eyes. They were silver, which was... different then he was used to, especially as they were lifeless. He had just killed himself, so it was to be expected, but this seemed like it was lifeless even when he was alive. Sky shuddered, this getting creepier by the second. He started to continue through the hall, begging that he wouldn't see that again.

Sol stood there as she clicked through the options and other such items. When she read each option she pursed her lips and thought things over. Since it wasn't her call she brought up her comms.

She reported to her commanding officer and told him what was on the computer. Waiting for his choice on what to do. Honestly she just wanted to continue on.

He heard Nova reporting in, and he listened, but once she was done, he was quick to respond.

"I need you to catch up with me. Download all you can, disable the floors secuirty and move as fast as you can. Don't worry about being quiet, this place is getting creepier by the second. Just had one shoot himself, his eyes are silver... lifeless. Also i saw what was happening to these people.... We need to find the cause"

Sol listened and clicked her comm off when he was done. She typed some more and downloaded all the Intel she could before disabling the security and grabbing her magnum. If things were getting strange like the flood, she wasn't going to hesitate.

As she wheeled around she pulled out her small flame thrower and turned on the idle flame. The fire flicking as she bolstered her magnum and began jogging down the hall.

Almost thankfully, the passage way Sky is in reaches an end, where another series to stairs going up offer themselves to the Spartan. These stairs, located on the opposite side of the building to the ones next to the elavators, didn't have nearly as much blood on them, and no corpses littered the way up. If the Spartan's opt to go upstairs, there would be no bodies, just a few spent round of ammo, all the way to the 15th floor, their next objective.

However, right next to the stairs, was a brightly lit passageway with no signs of blood, with high security doors lining each side all the way to the end, which a large metal door with the word 'Armoury' above it stood. Along the corridor, a single cell door is open slightly, and if looked inside, they'd see the bodies of the 3 Humans from outside lying on the ground, all 3 of them had their throats slit, lying in pools of their own red blood, and like the other, silver eyes.

Sol peered at the stairs. She sighed in relief as it seemed through were getting out of the body fest. Walking to the stairs she wanted to continue, then she saw the cell and the armory across the way. She glanced back at rain. Waiting for a choice.

Once Nova caught up, Sky continued to go through the passage, until they reached the end. He looked at the stairs, glad that they could leave, though looking around, he noticed something, the armory of the building. As much as he wanted to get out of here, he knew that he needed to check their capabilities. If he ever had another encounter with these guys, he wanted to at least know the basis of what they carried.

" Best we check the armory. and if possible trap it. Stuff goes loud, theres a chance they might come here somehow to get weapons" He mentioned, then he added "After we check this out, lets just get the rest of the intel and get out. This place is creepy enough as it is"

Sky had a point. For the sake of info and for the sake of safety she was all for going to the armory. Glancing around for a while just before looking where she was going.

"I really don't want to stay here for much longer either. I have seen some screwed up stuff but this is....." She said before shivering.

Sky just nodded, walking over to the door of the armory and raising his rifle at the door. He kept the rifle raised, taking a deep breath and sighing as he stared at it. He really was hoping nothing.... diabolical would be on the other side.

"Well.... locks down, so whenever your ready"

Sky nods, opening the door and moving in, looking around, the armory had assault rifles and magnums, basic issue, nothing that advanced. He sighed, glad that there would be no rockets being fired, until he saw the empty slots. He begged that there was only rifles in those slots.

"Alright, well, nothings here. Lets go" He says after taking a picture of the armory, moving back to the stairs. He sighs, starting to walk up them. As they progress, he see's a few spent bullet rounds on the ground, making him a little uneasy.

When the Spartans arrive on the 15th floor, having meeting no opposition, they would see almost a direct contrast. This floor was perfectly clean with pristine walls, but much like the other floor, seemingly abandoned.  The Spartan's would have to go left, where they would see the computer room right in front of them, and a good dozen humans armed with Assault Rifles pointed right at the Spartans.

The computer room itself had two levels. The level the Spartans were on, the ground floor, had row after row of computer screens that can be used at cover, to the otherside of the room where the Main Computer, and their classified information, is stored. In the gantry above them which circled the entire room, several more computers sat. 8 humans were in the gantry above them while 6 stood in front of them. An outnumbered fight in most circumstances, but for a Spartan, they would simply need more men...

"Wipe them out boys" says a female voice over the inter-coms "I want those intruders removed. Once they are, flush the data systems and meet me on the roof, we're ditching this base" before the intercom died. The humans all looked at the Spartans with silver eyes, before pulling the triggers and raining down a barrage of bullets on them.

As they got higher, Sky got more, and more nervous. Other then the guys outside, he had seen NO one here at all. And the guy downstairs shot himself, there was bullet cases along the stair case, it made him... uneasy. Once they reached the fiftheenth floor, he knew something was up. There was no way that no guards were in this building at all, then he exited the staircase, looking to his left, and right as he went around it, he noticed rifles aimed at him. He hard the comm go off, and he was quick to act. Within a second he raised his rifle, firing off a burst at the group, not aiming to hit anyone, just hoping to scatter them a bit, the supressed rounds of his rifle going off. As the volly of shots came, he rolled to the side, all the shots missing as he went back into cover in the stair case. He swore. He managed to not get hit again, but there was a lot of bullets and not much room to hide.

"Heh.... guess the fun found us"

Sol ran to the right as the bullets came and dove into cover. Her shield crackled as she leaned against the pillar. She peeked around the corner and took a bullet to the visor. Her shield sparked once more and she leaned back into cover whilst they fired.

"Life's a circus....." She whispered with a sigh. A grenade landed beside her and she cursed. The blast kicking her out of cover and back over by more cover. Her shield was broken. "And I'm the clown." She said just before grabbing her flamethrower a little tighter.

Waiting for the fire to slow and reloads to hit, she bolted for the stairs. One figure was at said stairs, aiming his rifle at her.

Thats when she turned on her classical music and it played in the background. "Time for art." She said as she turned on the flames. The flamethrower burst out a stream of wearing hot flame, the fire catching the figure on fire and burning at such high heat that his armor and skin turned to that of a burned marshmallow. She shouldered the figure out of the way and kept her advance up the stairs.

Sky watched as Sol ran off, where to he didn't pay attention. All he was focusing on, was the fact that there was six people on his level around the corner shooting at him. He sighed, a little pissed off at this. He threw the bag onto the ground, slinging it around his shoulder, but before opening it he leaned around the corner, firing another two three round bursts at them, forcing most of them into cover. He didn't know about the ones up top, still being in the staircase. He opened the bag, pulling out the dissasembled sniper, and speed assembling it, making it right. Once it was assembled, he set the link up to his Hud, put a fifty cal mag into the sniper, then grabbed it with one hand. He put the bag over his shoulder again, and breathed deep.

With his spare hand, he grabbed a grenade, throwing it into the room. The six guys saw where it landed, being forced to move deeper into the room. He took this chance as they were running to come around the corner, snatching up his rifle as he did so. He moved as fast as he could, and once he was about a meter away from the nearest desk, he went onto leg, sliding into cover, and right as he started, he heard bullets hitting around him. Within a second he spotted the bunch above him, firing down.

Once he hit cover, he looked at his shield display. It was all good, it seemed like he had only taken two rounds from that, and both were dissolved by his shield. He attached his rifle to his back, taking hold of the sniper with two hands. He turned around, not poking his head up from the cover. He pulled the sniper stand out, and placed it on the cover, which was being absoluetly hit with bullets faster then he could fire back. Once the sniper was set up, he grabbed the trigger and the stock, not looking through the scope, he aimed it up, looking at one of the guys up top. The soldiers thought that he didn't know where he was shooting, so they weren't worried. But he had linked his scope up to his HUD, allowing him to shoot without using the scope. He also had a scan going through, allowing him to see through light cover in the little box containing his sniper.

He moved it into position, and fired a single round. The bullet pierced threw the cover, and smashed into the guys chest, killing him instantly. He was quick to move it for a second shot, taking it and watching as the round sent someone into the wall. As he moved it for a third shot, he felt the sniper get hit by something, falling to the ground in front of him. He swore, looking at it. The scope had been hit. He grabbed it, detaching the scope and throwing it over the cover.

Guess i have a fifty cal rifle now...

"Nova, im pinned down, got six hostiles about me in the computer room, and six on the same floor as me. I could use some help taking out the gantry troops. If you could get them, i can deal with the ones on this floor"

Sol fired flames every which way. Humming along with her classical music in her ears. She swept the flames right and left as she burned several enemies.

Her shields popped and fizzed as bullets struck her. Wincing as a bullet hit her chest piece and punched her hard in the chest. Good thing about the strong build of the armor. If that shot got through she would be in a lot more pain.

Twirling behind a close by pillar, she heard her commanding officer ask for help. "On it." She said simply as she popped off a empty tank and let it clamor to the ground. She wasn't done with it though as it had fumes inside! She kicked the can and it rolled. Moving between several who had taken cover.

Drawing her magnum, she aimed and fired a shell into the can. The metalic item exploding and scattering the hidden combatants. Moving with quick efficiency, she popped a shot through one guy's head. She then fired at the rest and downed one and wounded another. The one on the floor crawled behind cover and his as she retracted.

Placing her back against the pillar she noticed the flames spreading to the building. Eating at anything flammable in its path. This was good and bad, bad because they were still in here and good because it could open up opportunity.

With deft hands she loaded another canister of fuel. Priming her flame thrower and then pulling the pin on a fire bomb. She spun back out into the open and lobbed the fire bomb with a brisk toss.

In a flash of light, the three others behind cover were consumed in napalm! Giving a scream as they were burned to a crisp. Her feet carries her forward, firing magnum shots with her left hand and spreading the dancing flame evenly against her enemies.

A sick smile appeared on her face and she giggled like a giddy girl as she watched the art of the dance, writhing, screaming and falling in the fire. Making her way to the banister she shouldered the door open.

Alas she had drawn a lot of attention and the foes focused on her instead of sky. A hail of gunfire tore into her shield. Tearing it apart as she lept to cover. Piercing pain stabbed her stomach. She definately got hit.... And it hurt so good. She laughed with glee and dropped her magnum. "Thanks for sharing the pain...." She thought before combat rolling closer to her enemy. "TAKE THIS!!" She yelled as she gripped her metaphorical paintbrush. Painting the room in beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows. Cries and screams tore through the air, rifles were fired in the chaos but none reached their target.

Sol took it all in, "What a glorious display!" She laughed, the foes succumbing to their demise. All except one died, the last of the men was smoking, his armor burned and his body failed to want to move.

Sol ran over to him as the dead like foe tried to aim his searing rifle. Stabbing him through the bottom of his jaw, she lifted him up and pulled the pin on the grenades he had left. With a throw, the body fell and exploded down below on the foes attacking sky, providing cover for his next move.

Sky didn't see or hear anything that Nova said or did, instead keeping his head down, and making sure he didn't get shot. He poked his head over, only to have a hail of bullets fired his way, and within a second, his head was down and safe, the rounds going over him, slamming into the ground where he could see. He sighed in relief, there was enough holes there to smash him. He put down the descoped sniper, pulling out his assault rifle. He raised his arms without looking, spraying some rounds towards them, holding it for around five seconds before he felt the rifle get ripped from his hands, flying over head and hitting the wall. He swore again, looking as the barrel was bent as some gun fire smashed into it, tearing it apart. He only had a descoped sniper now, knives and pistols.

That was when the gunfire stopped, at least from above, then he heard a explosion, and the gunfire stopped completely. He grinned, guessing that Nova had done her job. Time he had some fun. He gripped one of the knives on his chest, pulling it out of its sheath and getting up. He slid across his cover, sprinting towards the cover the others were at. One of the guys went over the cover, only to see a armored figure slide full speed into the desk, making it dent, and slide along the ground. All the soldiers jumped it, except one who got squished in it, his gun being ripped from his hands, and him being in insane pain, if he felt it, Sky had no idea.

The others got up, and the closest tried to raise his rifle to shoot Sky. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees this, turning and grabbing the barrel of the gun, pulling it close to him with his empty hand. With his knife hand, he punched him in the face, easily breaking his nose. Sky then flipped the knife around, holding it with the blade facing backwards. He heard a footstep behind him, and he was guessing that the whole group had by now, got there rifles on him. He quickly turned around, ducking low as he slashed his knife, and he noticed some red on it. Right behind him, or now in front of him, was a set of armor that had a clean cut straight through it. He grabbed the body, turning with insane speed to hold the body, and right as he did he heard gunshots, and noticed bullets flying through the guy, who was still alive until they fired, in the spots the armor did not cover well. Within three seconds they stopped, and Sky took a trick from what he heard before. He pulled the pins on the grenades on his belt, throwing the guy at the soldiers. One caught him, the others, having seen what he did, quickly jumped back, the explosion taking them both down. There was four left here now, three if you take out the one who was stuck in the table.

He spun around, and as he did, he felt the butt of a gun smash into him, taking the wind out of him for a second, though Sky was quick to respond by punching the guy in the chest, following up by slashing his chest. He grabbed the guys head, pulling it in with his free hand right into this knife hand, raising his elbow and smashing the guy in the head. To make sure he was dead, Sky grabbed hold of his cut chest's armor piece, and with all the force he had drove the knife through the bottom of the jaw of the guy, then pulling the blade out, he threw the guy at a wall.

The last two started shooting at Sky, who used the evade he had to launch himself back wards, and while he was rolling he, with his spare hand, pulled out his pistol on his left leg, and the moment he ended the roll he landed on his knee's, raising the side arm and firing twice, both the shots going through the barrels of the guns, and the next bullet that was fired caused each of the guns to blow up from the bullet smashing through the gun. Before they could do much else, Sky ran up to them, throwing his knife into the chest of one mid run, and tackling the other. Pinning him to the ground, Sky aimed the pistol at the head of the guy tackled, firing once and ending him. He got up walked to the wounded one with the knife in his chest. He pulled the blade out, aiming the side arm, and firing once. It was over. He looked at the one stuck in the table, walking over to him and making sure he was pinned.

"Who's your CO? Whats your objective?"

Sol hopped down. She winced and groaned with her bullet wound. Holding her side she watched the destruction. Fire burned up the walls here and there and slowly began to claim the building. Her bad.

She looked at her CO and then looked to the downed soldier. Waiting for something to progress.

The soilder who Sky had captured simply stared at him dumbly as if he didn't understand the question he was asked.

That's right when a single gunshot goes off, and a bullet goes into the head of the prisoner, killing him. Standing on the balcony which was near the flames stood a women. Her eyes were pitch-black and focused on the Spartans, a Rocket Launcher perched on her shoulders and pointed right at them. No escape from the radius of the explosion.

"Do you have any idea, how hard this was...?" asked the women, her long purple hair flowing behind her and her voice sounded distorted, human but with a robotic tinge almost "To set everything up. A plan years in the motion, disrupted by you two.. Human curiousity, it's disguising, and it'll be the death of you"

"And Talking is yours..." says another female voice right before a gunshot goes off, a bullet lodging into the head of the purple-haired women, who collapsed onto the ground, her other hand clentched tightly in a fist around, something. Limping from the gantry, the shooter showed herself.

She was wearing ODST Armour, or what was left of it. The arm pieces were missing and the chest piece was heavily damaged, but the helmet seemed intact and hide the ODST's face. Her left arm held the pistol, while her right was coated in blood which was dripping onto the floor.

"...I assume you're the ones who disabled the security?"

Sky was raising his first to punch the guy when the bullet rang out, taking him out instantly. Sky turned raising his pistol and aiming towards where the shot had rung out from, keeping it leveled towards the shooter. He swore mentally when he saw the rocket launcher. He knew that if that fired, well, he was going to have one HELL of a headache. He kept it leveled, and as she spoke, he grinned. So something big was up, well, seemed they did a good job. He took a picture of her, making sure he had a image, but just as he did, a second after a round killed the shooter.

Sky used his evade, launching backwards behind the cover, and once he was on the other side, grabbed his 50.cal rifle, and aimed it at the gantry, then he noticed someone in ODST armor walk up.

"Yeah, thats us, you look like an ODST who has been to hell and back. Nova, you all good?" He calls out, putting the sniper on his back, and looking over to his rifle. Well, it was dead now. He stared up, wondering what happened to her.
