On rough seas, Assasins creed rp

The sun was hot over the shanty town of new trottingham. People walked here and there, the constant sound of the marketplace a common occurrence every day. Fish, fishing supplies and other goods were being traded at a rapid rate. Money was plentiful, however so was crime. Thieves, murderers, pirates......just a few of the problems that plagued the poor town. Not including the neglect able guards of said town.

Those who were wronged were mostly all ignored, the guards as dirty as the thieves, taking bribes, getting in on the spoils of those who were stolen from. It was a hard life and mostly kill or be killed within its walls.

A large boat started coming into port. Its grey sails bellowing in the breeze as it mahogany hull sailed over the waves. Upon said ship resided a Black coated, yellow mane and eyes female. Her name was morning dew and she was one of the crewmates on the ship she resided called Windstrider. At the current moment she was securing the nets on the deck. She had helped capture dozens of fish of varying size and species. Her trophy of the day, a heavy swordfish that took her several arrow ropes to capture. Some of her mates having been roughed up by the fight it gave them.

"Good work today Dew." A burly voice came from behind her.

Dew stood and peered back over her shoulder. Her friend Willstrong stood there. His white coat, red eyes and mane covering part of his face.

"You too strong. You feeling alright after your took my elbow to your eye? Sorry about that....fish struggled a little harder than I thought." She said in concern.

he rubbed his black eye and chuckled. "Its fine little one....Its no bad intentions.....So you wanna get a drink here later?"

She smiled. "Yea sure....see you at the Ragged rat?" She asked.

"Yep....see you then." He said with a wave as he walked to the docking plank and set it on the dock. She watched him for a bit and smiled. He was nice.....

She turned to continue her work when she saw something....Something on the distance of the cove. A ship coming in faster than it should be, its red sails bellowing as it came fast into the port. She stood and narrowed her eyes, Why was it coming so fast? Her answer came fast....and not pleasant.

Suddenly the air cracked with a cannon barrage, The shells flying from behind the nearby mountain and striking the ship! Sending splinters flying from the Red sailed ship in a sudden blast. She gasped a bit as she saw two, black sailed ships zipping fast out of cover, The ship having been pursued! She knew what it was, Privateers.... And they were hunting down this poor ship out in the cove. She winced as more cannon fire roared out and the ship took more shots!

Looking around she wondered what the town was going to do about it! Sadly the town hadn't been strong in the sea defense perspective. Most of the townfolk ran and hid, others watched the carnage as the one ship was besieged in the pier. She looked forward and narrowed her eyes, this was stupid! They needed to help!

Taking it upon herself she ran off the end of the ship and hopped off the end and into the water! She began swimming hard and fast through the water. Gasping and sighing as she alternated her strokes to keep the speed going. After a good amount of time she reached her goal, a small land mass just off the docks. She got up onto land and panted as she jogged around the beach and to the small guard outpost where the guards were supposed to be firing from to help any and all ships! To her surprise the guards stood there laughing!

"Hey! Why arnt you helping that ship!?" She barked.

The guards stopped laughing and looked to her before turning and taking an aggressive stance. "Lassy why are you on this outpost?" One growled.

"head home before we send you home with a broken nose." another growled.

She stepped back a little appalled. She should have guessed this would have happened but the fact that it was always appalled her. She peered to the ship which was now in capitated, its sails having been torn and collapsed on its deck as the two ships began to board. She growled and peered to the guards, four against one? She was okay with those odds.

Her eyes scanned around them and saw that there was a hitched rack of cannon balls right behind them. She suddenly drew her bow and notched a arrow! The guards gasped and reached for their flintlock rifles when suddenly she fired! Her arrow zipped past and hit the rack sending it tipping and collapsing onto them! One guard yelled as he was knocked to the ground by the heavy projectiles! The other three were distracted as the spheres hit their legs and sent them stumbling! She notched more arrows and inhaled before firing her shots and striking two guards! One through the neck and the other through his chest! Both fell and the last one regained his stance just as she closed the distance and clocked him over the head with her bow. Knocking him out, sending him to the dirt.

Making quick work she ran to the cannons and began shoving them into place! Giving a heavy grunt and gritting her teeth as she aimed each individual one to aim at the nearest privateer ship. She panted and began loading the cannons with powder and cannon balls. All three cannons becoming armed as she grabbed the ropes and yanked them! All three fired with a crack and a boom as the shots slammed the hull of the nearest enemy ship! The crew aboard were surprised as their ship was damaged badly! She had to keep it up, her element of surprise falling as she ran to reload. the job by herself was very hard.

((Note, the red sailed ship is a Templar ship btw so if you are part of the pirates you are employed by the assasins to board the ship and recover something vital from it.))

Well, it seemed they were at it again. Rabi watched through his window as a red-sailed ship was attacked by two others. If he remembered correctly, there had been some kind of attack planned for today. He almost turned away when the cannons from an outpost began helping the ship under attack. Now that was a surprise, the guards weren't known to help with this sort of thing. The frequency of cannon fire led him to assume either a lack of training or a lack of numbers on their part, however.

That thought just got him thinking of ways to speed up the loading process. He hummed to himself, tapping his chin as he thought about it. The battle momentarily forgotten, he moved to his desk and began writing down his idea, the specifications and the general design.

Just before he began, he paused to think about if he was forgetting anything. Looking around and seeing a lack of clients or other projects in volatile states, he nodded to himself and set to work.

When the raid began he had boarded the Templar ship with ease. Going nearly undetected by the crew, save for a few members who shortly after found themselves taking a swim in the sea. Forge considered himself lucky by this. Just a quick sneak in get the item and then leave before they knew what had hit them. Maybe take out a few of the crooked dugs while I'm here. He thought pulling his hood over his head successfuly covering his diluted scarlet locks. Forge kept his foot steps light and his body hidden by barrels and other such objects located aboard the ship. He knew that the item he was after was most likely somewhere on the inside of the ship. It would be pretty foolish of the Templar if it wasn't. Still. He did question their intelligence at times.

With his back pressed up against the side of the outer walls of the cabin, Forge Ivory stole a glance around the side. Most of the crew were busy with taking down the pirate ship at hand. Poor lads. He honestly felt sorry for the other ship and would have helped if he could, though at the moment his hands were tied with other business. A smirk formed upon his face as he saw that the entrance to the lower quarters was not being heavily guarded. The green eyed assassin placed a hand on the hilt of one sword preparing to draw it, when a loud booming noise sounded not to far from where he was standing before Forge found himself being propelled from his hiding spot and hurled to the deck.  Aye, he would be feeling that tomorrow.  A loud wringing echoed in his ears  as he staggered to his feet dusting himself of splintered wood from the explosion. Forge exchanged looks with a few  members of the crew who seemed as equally as shocked by the sudden impact as he was. Well, it wouldn't be any fun without a surprise or two. "Lets get on with it then." He said regaining his smirk before locking his blades with the other.

Midnight sat on top of her tavern. Well, it wasn't HER tavern per say, but she lived there and the owners owned her a few favours. She looked at the piece of paper in her hands, notes she'd scribbled from all the Templar information she'd stolen from a messenger. It resulted in the Thestral knowing about the Templar attack long before the boat sailed into port! Ohhh how perfect! Her information was valid, meaning a single thing. She could abuse it and sell it to the highest bidder! The girl grinned as she took a swing of whistky. Sure it was probably illegal since she was 'under the age limit', hadn't stopped her before!

The girl was so unaware of the target she'd painted on her back, unaware of just how large the Templar order was. Like many, she was ignorant to the Assassin-Templar war and all its dangers. She didn't know the Assassins nor how much they might pay. But as the girl drank on the roof watching the battle, she truly had no idea that the moment she'd released the fact she had their info, she'd painted the worlds largest target on her own back.

"Hold them off!" A large burly man with a green coat, Red eyes and mane yelled as he walked out of the captain's quarters of the Templar ship. His heavy armor clinking which was slightly odd from the time period he was in. He had a large sword and a stance which could intimidate many. His chest adorned with the Templar symbol.

He narrowed his eyes as a female assassin jumped infront of him and aimed her gun. Her shot hit the armor and pinged off! He laughed and grit his teeth, The female's eyes shrinking as he seized her by the throat and lifted her off the ground sputtering. "Master!! Someone help!!" She coughed just before she was impaled! She gagged and was thrown overboard! The massive tank laughed before stepping forward into the battle. Pirates as well as their assassin allies turned and stepped back from the massive beast of a man.

The battle on the decks however didn't cease and it kept raging upon its wooden struts. Fire came off the ship that was being struck from the island.

On the island, Morning dew reloaded and fired more cannon fire into the side of the hurt ship! The pirate ship blowing to pieces as its ammunition was detonated and set ablaze! It began to sink, leaving one pirate/assassin ship left.

"The island cannons are tearing us apart! We need to stop it or hurry!" One assassin yelled as the ship he was on lurched and took on water.

Hmm... Maybe some sort of feeding mechanism... A track of some sort so the loaders wouldn't have to carry the balls. At most they would be picked up and then turn around to load them in. That would probably speed things up.

After adding the finishing touches to that part of his design, he looked out the window again and saw one of the ships sinking. He frowned slightly, looking over to what medical supplies he had. He'd probably need some more after this.

Ziggy was awoken by the sounds of the cannons. He woke with a jolt and quickly looked around the pig pen he passed out in last night from his long night of drinking. "What's happening?"  He groaned rubbing his eyes still groggy from his sleep but the continued sound of cannons grabbed his attention. He hopped up and began running to the docks. He didn't know what was happening but it sounded exciting and he wasn't going to miss any of it.

He could see the battle raging just meters out of port. Two ships with gray sails were ganging up on one with red sails. He saw one of ships go down from some cannon fire coming from one of the town's cannons. He reached the dock and began to watch the battle in awe.

"Yes, Fight! Fight and kill and relish in the slaughter!" The Thestral emptied her 2nd bottle watching the battle rage in front of her, the battle had only gotten more exciting, with death littering the water. Maybe the water'll turn red? Umm, naa. Not enough blood, enough to make a good drink perhaps! The girl grinned to herself, before grabbing the bow and arrow near her, in her slightly drunken state, she figured why not have some fun! Loading up an arrow, she aimed at the ships, her eyes finding their target, a brute of a man. She watched him murder some girl, a pretty thing, refocusing on her target. Odd armour, and red eyes, ohh if she wasn't about to try kill him, she'd like to try a few other things with him also. Pulling the string back, and fired her first of many shots. Her aim was much to be desired, but she knew her shots would, at least, make it to the ship. She'd practised many a times before.
