New England's win over Houston means I will be moving on to the next round. The Steelers/Chiefs game will determine the other remaining player in our game. If Pittsburgh wins, Gerrard advances. If Kansas City wins, Riverhippo advances. Whoever advances will pick their team for next Sunday's Conference Championship Round second, after I select mine. This means, Gerrard will move on to the next round of the Elimination playoffs, and, sadly, Riverhippo will not. So, the NFL Conference Championship Round playoff games are set! In the NFC: Green Bay at Altanta In the AFC: Pittsburgh at New England Since I get to choose first from the four remaining teams in the playoffs, my choice shall be... The New England Patriots! Gerrard, you have the next selection of the available teams, remember you cannot select New England. You have until the kickoff of Sunday's Altanta/Green Bay game (approximately 3:05pm) to post your pick. Good Luck! P.S. -- If Gerrard doesn't pick a team by the deadline, I will win the Elimination Playoffs by default, regardless of the result of the Pats/Steelers game. Oh, and one prediction early: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be SUCH a COWARD, he will NOT show up in Foxboro for the Patriots/Chiefs game this Thursday. He'll use some kind of silly excuse to be a no-show because he doesn't want to get BOOED wildly by a stadium full of furious New England fans!
