Silver Spoon had been told of a very special meeting after school on this gorgeous summer day. Something about a slumber party of some kind at Sweet Apple Acres. Silver wasn't going to miss the chance to not only hang out with some of her friends but get away from her family for a night. With her school work done for the day and in her bag she trotted over to the 'Meeting Tree' in the schoolyard. But who was this? Discord was here as well?

"Well, hello there." Silver spoke in a rather low cute tone. Applejack was here as well as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Silver started to do a head count of everypony she knew, Diamond Tiara wasn't here yet but there was a few others like Bebop, Valen, Wind Walker, Fast Track, Ta-Daa, and even Moonprancer. Some of them had come from other cities and schools so it was quite common for at least Applebloom to try and make friends of them. A bit more reserved herself Silver had only met a few of these other youngins but at least knew of them. This was shaping up to be one heck of a party if Applebloom was going to have all of these fillies and the few colts that were here over. But what in Equestria were they going to do? Attempt to not rip a hole in the universe and unleash a demonic entity from another dimension was high on Silver's list for sure, thanks to Apple Pie and her books Silver had her fair share of 'experience' with this topic.

There was something about the summer season that made many feel full of energy, positive for the tomorrow to come. Perhaps it was the freedom achieved after months on end locked inside staving off the winter chill as seeds slept, and critters hibernated. It could be attributed to the long days, opposing the long nights, that let many increase their daily productivity. Or, perhaps, it was something as simple as the sounds. Warbling birds, the incessant buzzing of cicada or the cacophony of frogs on the edges of summer ponds. Whatever it may have been the laughter of foals and adults prancing about free did bring about a sense of chaos to what had otherwise been a peaceful winter. One could not say chaos without being thankful to one creature.

Or spiteful towards.

Magnanimous and full of phenomenal cosmic powers: such a harbinger of anarchy and lord of shenanigans could easily be seen as somepony at the root of these problems. Hardly. With ponies abound, doing his work, their was little the spirit had to do, beyond take it all in. While a bit suspect, his lack of participation was solely based on his laissez faire personality. Were he unneeded to cause such disorder, than his job was done! Safe to say his more potentially destructive games were put to rest with his reformation, but this created a whole secondary set of problems: such as hobbies. With so much free time it was to be expected he busy himself in other ways. Be it intruding on critical social affairs the Mayor of Ponyville need attend, or the accidental mishaps rained upon property in his efforts to -- help, he was doing more to cause trouble when looking to keep out of it.

A difficult balance to be struck, but one to eventually found.

As such all that could be irrelevant, the simple errs of a fallen prince of chaos learning to be more beneficial in his ways, but were he honest on his new position: were he to relinquish his title, than he would be him no more. If he was not Discord, than what was he? A conundrum and paradox that stumped even him. Eventually, with a doubtless certainty: his nature would win and once again he would be without nothing. All he could do was to protect what he had, temporary and passing, shorter than any summer month.

Shallow breathing the spirit seemed to be asleep, but he never slept, so he claimed. Laid out in the shade of the tree, a wayward branch managing to grant the long noodle cover, he would keep his hind legs tucked at his side, forelimbs strewn backwards in the most uncomfortable of positions. The rabble and noise others made did not seem to stir him, but he did move his tail and anything else at risk of being stepped on as others moved about.

"I am starting to understand why cats climb trees." He would say before vanishing and appearing up on one of the branches so he did not have to keep playing dodgepony. "Well, well, another to join the rabble~" He crooned as his fore paw/claw combo crisscrossed in front of him as if he was some noble beast, as opposed to a hodgepodge of disaster.

Well, here it is. The fabled ‘Meeting Tree’ she was to meet the other kids at. And sure enough, like Ponyville parties, Ponyville slumber parties appeared to involve the majority of the village's residents, or at least the younger ones. There were a few new faces in the crowd, along with a few she knew. There was her buddy Bebop Slide, who was the first to alert her of the little overnight party. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, two fillies she had hung around with before. Her old pal Fast Track, along with her new pal Moonprancer. The pair rode the train together from Canterlot. Hopefully he did not drive the poor girl crazy with all of his babbling. The guy was crazy about trains and he most likely  had to point out every obscure part of the cabin they were in. Probably went into great detail on what an vestibule was.

There were also a few kids she had no met yet. The unicorn gal that stood near Scoots and Apple Bloom was probably Sweetie Belle. A colt, so Fast Track would not suffer any flashbacks from the last nearly 'all filly' slumber party he had last attended. And a few others. Hopefully she will make new friends by the end of the night. "Hey Bebop!" She quickly made her way towards her old friend. After giving her a quick hug, she pointed out her new friend, "Hey Bee, next to Fastie is a new friend of ours. Moonprancer."

brZgh4c.png?1

The little brown pegasus colt known as Fast Track smiled as he friend approached, "Hey Windy and Bebop! Great to see so many kids here, but what's the deal with ol' granddad over there?", he whispered, "Kind of looks like that weird dragon that tried to stuff you and Bebop into bags during last Nightmare Night. Maybe that's her pop..."

Why was she even here again? She had told them on that first day that she didn't like parties full of unkown faces.

Moonprancer was, for all intents and purposes, trying to turn invisible through shear force of will as she sat near the trunk of this tree. If she were to meet these new ponies in smaller groups, she'd probably be fine, but all at once was a bit much. At least they were all ponies her age, or around it...

Right, all but one was a kid like her. The outlier, and oh what an outlier he was, reminded her of his presence as he spoke again. What was the spirit of chaos even doing hanging around with a bunch of fillies and a couple colts? It was a bit weird, really.

Moonprancer looked up as Wind said her name, looking over at the other filly she was with. Bebop, apparently. The unicorn waved and gave a slight smile before Fast Track's next words made her frown again and sigh. He certainly knew about trains, more than was probably healthy for his age given how much he had talked on the way here, but he seemed woefully lacking in other subjects.

"Fast Track, I believe that is Discord, the spirit of chaos. He looks like the pictures, anyways, and he fits the descriptions." Moonprancer said, looking over at the male for a few seconds before nodding. "Also, hi Bebop."

This was going to be great... no... more than great. This was going to be fantastic! Scootaloo could barely hold a thought in her head as she made her way to the Meeting Tree, hoping to get there first so she could greet the others. Who she saw first, however, was very unexpected. Discord. Admittedly the Pegasus didn't have much interaction with the Draconiquese, but she heard a lot about him from Rainbow Dash! The question remained: why was he here at the school when the fillies and colts were meeting for the most epic sleepover ever?

"Discord? Err...what are you doing at our school, and up in a tree?"

She didn't have time to get the answer yet as the other fillies and colts started approaching the tree. First there was silver Spoon, one who not so long ago was a bully along with Diamond Tiara. But thankfully that time was over and Scootaloo was happy to get to know her as a nice pony, perhaps a friend.

"Hi there Silver Spoon. How are you doing?"

Next there was a group of ponies including Wind Walker, Fast Track, Bebop Slide, and Moonprancer.

"Hello all! Ready for some fun?"

Getting the invited from Applebloom was strange enough, but the invite involving a sleepover with Silver Spoon: that was crazy. Being a fairly open minded pony, Bebop went along and accepted. While she was willing to accept coming along to this and bringing some supplies she still had trouble really trusting this 'turning over a new leaf' thing she and Diamond Tiara were doing. When she was finally dropped off by her grandparents, Bebop was still rummaging through her bags. Thanks to her forethought she'd been sure to pack extra notebooks in case she wound up doing more communication than she thought she would. Shame though it made her bags rather heavy for her to pull along towards the door.

Soon she was seized into a hug before she reached it. This grip was pretty familiar, along with the darkish blue coat on her hooves and then the tone of voice. It was Windy! THE hug was immediately returned. With a spark of her horn she opened up a notebook and swiftly wrote down her greetings.

"Hiya, Windy! Hi Fast Track, It's good to see you both again!"

"It's nice to meet you, Moonprancer! How'd you meet Windy?"

Apple Bloom had been an awfully good girl lately, and that wasn't even counting all her good work done helping ponies find what their special talent was. She had done her chores real well and right fast, which allowed Applejack time to teach her all sorts of new techniques. And he'd she been a plum of help with the newborn, what with her little brother Zap Apple being a flighty little ball of positive energy that needed a nearly equal and opposite member to stop him. Despite Applejack looking for something to hang her hat on, Apple Bloom had come through with flying colors so she had to agree to what had been promised what seemed a generation ago: An unlimited occupant slumber party. What was the wording of that event? Ahh, yes. "Sugarcube, if you can manage to have two perfect weeks in a row, y'all can have a slumber party with whoever y'all want." Applejack hadn't really considered that a possibility since Apple Bloom at the time didn't go but two hours without doing something, but here they were, and she was proud, relieved, and worried.

Proud? Apple Bloom had done very well. Relieved? Apple Bloom was pulling her weight something fierce. Worried? Applejack wasn't going to be there for the slumber party, nor would Granny Smith or Big Mac. Applejack was heading off with Rainbow Dash for a small retreat involving some Wonderbolts business, and the rest of the Apples viewed this as a good time to force Applejack to get some rest and focus on the newborn (who currently was snuggled securely and sleeping on his momma's back). Granny and Big Mac were gonna be at Canterlot for the annual meeting of Equestrian produce suppliers and farmers to discuss quotas and whatnot. And while her friends would obviously offer, looking after all these little fillies and colts would be draining for just about anypony. Anypony. Not anyone. She had a creature in mind who could likely do the deed, even if it worried her that he was the best choice.

As fillies and colts gathered around the tree it didn't take long for Discord to show up. Good. Applejack nodded at Apple Bloom. "You get talking to your friends, Sugarcube. Ah need ta talk ta Discord," she said, starting a trot over as Apple Bloom started talking to the assembled fillies and colts.

"Howdy everypony! Glad y'all got mah invites. We're gonna have tha run of our old barn for tha sleepover and mah family'll be outta town, so we'll have tha run of tha place tha whole weekend!" Apple Bloom proudly blared, which caused Applejack to turn back. Apple Bloom laughed nervously. "Haha, not that we're going to do anything odd or nothin..." she trailed off, though the glint in her eyes told a different, diabolical story. Valen meanwhile stood nearby, intentionally distancing himself. More than most he had seen the preparations and had begun counter-preparations against her preparations, because he had been to slumber parties of the rich, famous, and wildly energetic and wasn't about to be buried under artfully done pillows made out of what felt like stone.

Applejack approached Discord. "Discord, Ah have a favor ta ask of ya. Ah'm not gonna be in town, nor will Big Mac or Granny Smith. Ah need somepony Ah can trust ta watch over tha lot of 'em until they Granny gets back. Ah know how good y'all are with foals and such, so Ah was thinking..."

Silver had been kind of zoning out with everyone gathering about.

"Why hello Scootaloo, I'm surprised to see Sweetie Belle not here yet." She looked about quizzically, Diamond Tiara wasn't here either now that she thought about it. This was going to be a rather fun night regardless, there was going to be snacks, drinks, camping out under the stars! Silver blushed as she let out a soft sigh looking towards the sky. She really did love looking at the stars at night, it always felt so romantic. She was excited to get to know a few of these out of town ponies that Apple Bloom somehow knew, perhaps it was from her out of town travels with the Cutie Mark Crusaders or even when they left for the Equestria Games. She took stock of everypony that was around making mental notes about each one so that she would be able to place name with face and the like. She wasn't always very social but tonight she felt like breaking that chain, maybe only a little though. Can't get too wild.

She walked over and threw a hoof over her coltfriend Valen. "What about you Valen, excited for tonight?" She asked Valen giving him a rather large grin.

It was absurdly hot at this time of day, but the spirit much preferred it over winter. His coat of feathers was thin enough to let him air out. A pair of sunglasses manifested on his muzzle, head curling back as he took in the hot rays. It was certainly a difference between the seasons, one he could appreciate. While the frantic runabout of the winter season was a merry sight, the summer? Oooh the summer was full of beach, fun and school breaks. Much too hot to be locked up in a schoolhouse with little to no ventilation. He flicked his paw's wrist, manifesting a tall glass of lemonade in his grip.

The languid lump of parts dangled in the tree's extending branch, sipping on the ice filled glass leisurely. The foals began to gather up in droves, which gave him cause to vacate the premises, or at least the ground. The perch was just the right height, letting his spined tail dangle. He listened as the foals met and greeted one another causing him to almost envy their good nature. He could think of one thousand and one unruly things to partake in while the more responsible, adultier adults were away. The thought made him snort as his brows flattened. Mention of his age caused his ears to twitch. He was just as youthful as anypony his age. He was far more athletic than … say Tom! Alright so he couldn't think of anypony his age lackluster.

Even Granny Smith could give him a hobble for his money. Celestia, for an old maid, could move when she wanted to. She got around more than any pony realized. Sneaky adventuress.

He slurped down the remaining juice in his glass before his forked tongue wrapped around the straw and gobbled it down, only for the glass to follow. It did could make one wonder just where that stuff went. Did he actually consume it or was it just a show? He did like to make a big scene about even the smallest things, but it was also just the nature of chaos to act peculiarly. His sunglasses were tilt up by his magic, his name on Applejack's lips causing his attention to shift and brows to arch. As the young farmmare approached he would roll over and come to dangle upside down on the branch, body coiling like a serpent's so he could observe the sleeping newborn.

He had reached to pet that little tuft of mane with his soft paw if allowed. "…a favor Applejack?" It was like making a wish with a djinni sometimes.

Would he do his best to corrupt the wish, or abide by the request? Well since it was his goal not to be a detestable tyrant the latter seemed a more promising route. But that wasn't to say he wasn't going to do his best to pervert the path to greatness. It was just more fun that way. He vanished, only to appear floating at the blonde mare's side, claw held to his chest in a proud gesture, head cocked.

"Why we're friends, are we not Applejack?" He grinned that predatory grin, his forked tongue slithering out from between his chompers. "I wouldn't dare disappoint." He was a bit more capable than others granted him credit for.

After all he had nigh omnipotent powers. He could do well to take any plane of existence and pave it for his own good, or entertainment. The general effort required to rule over anarchy was too much a pain, plus two stoning were quite enough. He wasn't sure his sanity would last a third… besides that they were his friends.

Sometimes a bit incapable of seeing their own progress through, but he supposed that was no fault of their own with such boring processes. While he was eager to assist he was a bit interested to see what sort of chaos Apple Bloom could get up to. She was too clever for her own good and always willing to think outside the box.

Ahh blessed with natural chaos.

He was so proud! "Apple Bloom is like a little sister to me, the one I never had! I am just so proud of her, to be entertaining such an unruly crowd! I mean -- to think I'd ever let anything happen, it would paint shame on my honor!" He pulled his right lion's arm over his forehead in a dramatic display.

Popping out and slithering around the mare to ruffle Zap Apple's mane tuft he floated with his back to the responsible mare, crossing his hind legs and forelimbs as he 'sat up' mid air. "No need to worry. They'll be perfectly safe." Safety he could generally guarantee. The safety of surrounding objects, time space continuum, or environment was a bit more negligible.

Give or take.

Things happened.

But he was quite fond of his foal friends and, yes, adult friends, to allow harm to come to them. He was quiet a moment, face expressing a serious look as his claw moved to scratch over his chin. He curled backwards so his upside-down face was looking at her. "You've no need to worry, fret, flounder and all those sorts of things. They'll be fine. Things work out when you don't worry about them." He offered a hint of ancient draconequus advice.

Ta-Daa was so so sooooo excited! She had been waiting fro such a long time to get herself invited to one of these kinds of gatherings! Sure, she had plenty of friends at school but she was still working on making close friends. This was her chance! She had been invited and she was not going to disappoint!

The little purple unicorn trotted up to the group and beamed. "Hi you guys!" She waved hello. "This is going to be super fun!"

She came over closer and bumped Apple Bloom lightly on the rump with her own rump. "Thanks so much for inviting me Apple Bloom! I've always wanted to come over and check out your awesome-" ZAP!

ZAP! Ta-Daa suddenly disappeared and then reappeared up in the same tree that Discord had recently been perching in.

The filly blew her fluffy forelocks out of her eyes. "Oops..." She giggled. Ta-Daa had recently been having trouble getting her space shifting magic under control. Being excited was a good trigger for sudden transfers of location to occur. She tried to concentrate and her horn glowed faintly. Then...ZAP!

ZAP!

She appeared next to Apple Bloom once more. "So, when are we heading to Sweet Apple Acres?!"

Diamond Tiara sucked in a breath and exhaled softly when she saw the gathering in front of the tree. Her mind raced with remarks but she wasn't going to act on them. The filly was becoming a new and better version of herself, but that didn't mean she didn't still have her tendencies.

DT trotted up to Silver Spoon. She had just greeted Valen but Diamond didn't have trouble cutting in. "Hey there Silver Spoon!"

Fast Track glanced back at his new friend with a smile....which quickly vanished when she mentioned that Discord was not somepony, or possibly somedragon's old granddad, he was a spirit. "Really?", he nearly shouted, "Isn't that the same as a ghost? He doesn't look like one. No white sheet with holes for eyes. No chains to rattle, and I don't think he's said 'boo' or even 'boogedy-boogedy' at all, which I believe are standard requirements for a spooky spook. Kind of looks like a mascot for a sport's team that couldn't make up their mind on what sort of animal they wanted for their team."

His eyes fell upon the other ponies that were standing around. There was Scootaloo, a athletic pony, for some reason, could not fly. Wind Walker declared that this would be one of the many mysteries she would uncover soon. Along with who keeps eating her hidden supply of cookies (Which was her father, and her brother Punk Walker), who wrote the book of love (huh?) and when was  A.K. Yearling going to release her next book (When she was finished with it!). Then there was Apple Bloom. The cute little filly that he had last seen at some odd little apple-selling event. Buy some apples and get a kiss from Applejack.

"Hey gals.", he cleared his throat, "Howdy! Buckaroo! Does this may-uk me soun' like a country pony? Yippee Kay-yay! Thair's a snay-uk in maah boot! Tarnations!"

Wind Walker glanced back with a frown, "No, you sound like a guy who had a stroke. Please stop.", she watched the odd, patchwork creature before returning her full attention to her friends, "He's the guy who caused all the craziness a year ago. Made it rain chocolate milk, gave pigs wings. I didn't see much of it myself as they kept us kids safe and sound in this underground magic bunker thing they had under the school. My sister got covered in chocolate milk, which wouldn't be bad, but it went sour really quickly." The somewhat dour filly noticed something that was beyond cute. "That's Applejack's baby.", she whispered, "My big sis also went on an adventure with Miss Jack, not that long before she gave birth to that cute little foal. So dang cute.", she cooed, "I wish I wasn't the last kid in my family and mom couldn't have another kid."

Moonprancer simply blinked in response to Fast Track's words about Discord and spirits. Really? She thought it was fairly obvious that she meant a different kind of spirit, but apparently not. She opened her mouth for a moment, though she just ended up sighing and shaking her head as he went into his attempt to sound country. Not that she would really know what that sounded like, but she agreed with Wind's assessment.

Next, her attention turned back to Bebop, leading her to blink in confusion as the filly wrote stuff on a pad instead of talking.

"Well, I guess you could say we just ran into each other." Moonprancer replied, laughing a bit. "I met them while they were in Canterlot."

"Why do you write on that pad instead of talking? Is something wrong with your voice?" She added after a few moments, tilting her head slightly. She gave a small wave in greeting to those addressing the group at large with their hellos, her focus primarily on the other unicorn filly in front of her.

Silver's time with Valen was quickly cut short by the arrival of one of her other super close friends. Diamond Tiara.

"Oh there you are!" Silver exclaimed as she embraced her friend. "Where did you go after third period? You seemed to have vanished." Silver was in fact worried for her friend, she hadn't been seeming all that well recently. Was it something she ate? Was it the weather? Oh well, that was a topic for another time. Now that school was out for an extended weekend Silver thought it would be a good time to simply throw all worry to the wind and just enjoy it. Plus they were about to go on a MASSIVE sleepover! Silver glanced out at a few of the other fillies and colts as she had a tingle in her mind that someone was thinking about her. Her eyes locked onto Bebop, something about her seemed different. Being the 'reformed' Silver Spoon that she was, and come now she wasn't that bad to begin with just...'misunderstood' and 'a lacky', she waved to Bebop and offered a large grin.

Before she could get an answer from Discord, Apple Bloom proudly announced the group's plans for the sleepover. The filly was so excited thinking all of the possibilities of this night! But what's this? Apple Bloom gave her little wink, one Scootaloo saw many times before. She knew that the night wasn't going to be all rest and talk!

"This is going to be great!" She said as she hovered in the air before touching back down.

"Why hello Scootaloo, I'm surprised to see Sweetie Belle not here yet."

"Yeah, I'm not sure if she's coming. It would be a shame if she misses out on the fun. Maybe she has something to do with Rarity or her parents."

"Hey gals.", he cleared his throat, "Howdy! Buckaroo! Does this may-uk me soun' like a country pony? Yippee Kay-yay! Thair's a snay-uk in maah boot! Tarnations!"

"Uh... yeah... you really sound like Apple Bloom and Applejack there," Scootaloo said as she rolled here eyes.

Applejack allowed Discord to move about in his unusual, terrifying way. She had grown accustomed to it even if it was still unsettling. Was his body responsible for such odd movement or the magic that flowed through him? She didn't know but she figured it didn't much matter. She did trust him enough with the foals. He wasn't an awful sort anymore. Just an odd one. He got along well with the little ones she reckoned due to their lack of reason or responsibility. He was able to have all of his fun and play all of his games and it was a grand old time for a fella like him. As long as he kept it under control she didn't mind- just do what the foals wanted and keep them safe. Despite her reservations regarding much of his behavior, she knew she could trust him that far.

Zap Apple coo'd and giggled when Discord played with the tuft of mane, and Applejack reflexively did the same. "Who's a little cutie pie? You are! Cootchie coo!" she said, petting her little foal and being totally embarassing for a few moments. Applejack refocused on Discord and smiled. "Thank you kindly, Discord. Just make sure they stay safe, all right? Ah know mah sister and her friends could cause a snowstorm in tha summer sun," she laughed and gave him a look, "why, Ah bet that's why y'all get along so well!" she sighed, looking on over to her sister. "Apple Bloom- Discord here will make sure y'all stay safe an' sound. Relatively...umm, well, just make sure to pay'm heed. Ah need ta leave. Stay safe, y'all" she said, nodding to her sister as she made her exit.

Apple Bloom felt bad every time Ta-Da bipped around. It must have been difficult to do much if your magic was so out of control! One time Apple Bloom watched when Sweetie had a rough time with her magic and it was kinda scary but this was on a whole other level of freaky. She seemed to not be too put off by it though and as long as that was the case Apple Bloom would be sure to make sure she had a slingin' good time. "Happy ta have ya Tah-Dah! Ah'll make sure ta give a tour...well, assumin' thar's much left after all tha fun!" She said with a laugh, not trying to pay attention to the silliness of Fast Track's fake Heartland accent. She didn't know if he was trying to be offensive or not.

He had acted all twitterpatted when he came up for a kiss during the sale, so she wasn't quite sure what got into him now. "Hehe, now now, we don't sound like that, not one biit! Why, y'all soundin' like one of them oh-ffensive stereotypes in tha big city plays 'bout us country folk. But you wouldn't be doin' nunna that, would ya,  Fast Track?" She said with a completely innocent smile, batting her eyelashes some. Hey, he had very specifically wanted a kiss from her and she wasn't ignorant of the effect mares had on stallions. After a few moments she coughed to gather herself, and prepared to cut short this random gathering of fillies and colts. They had all manner of fun to get up to and they were just wastin' time.

"Anyway! So everypony, let's get a'trekkin' ta mah home!"

He had hear Scootaloo's question, but the rabble of foals made it rather difficult to respond. "I rather be in one piece when we head on my way. Being a trampled snake isn't on my to do list." Foals didn't really look where they pranced when they became an excitable ball of chaos! "I came for the after school activities of course!" He assured.

While he approved of the mishaps he generally preferred not to be a victim. He often came to play with the foals at the end of the week or during recess, but it wasn't normal to see him and other adults were around. It could have been the fact the adults weren't as comfortable with him or just the presence of willing participants in his games. He had moved to look to the yappy colt who declared him an incorrect ghost. At least Moonprancer had it right, but she was a rather bookish sort … it was to be expected!

Discord arched a brow as the foals tried to properly decipher what he was. "How rude." He huffed, head turning and paw waving. "We only use chains and sheets at night so you can see and hear us." He assured. "And boogedy boogedy is for new spooks. I'm quite an old spooky spook. I don't do that anymore." He grinned at the thought.

In a way he was a spook, from the past. All the ghost stories told about him… He was thankful a great deal of the education has changed in Canterlot, no longer was it taught he was an enemy. He had Celestia to thank for that, but she knew he would never thank her outright. The least he did to honor her acceptance was to learn a bit more about ponies each day and try not to make their lives a living nightmare. It was surprisingly difficult as ponies did tend to be frightful of everything under the Sun and Moon that altered their way of accepted life. He tried to be candid about it, but a little more chaos prepared them for inevitable changes to come that were not his doing. He couldn't much interfere because he lacked the interest to, but if it did matter to him…

He chuckled. "Oh chocolate rain is fine if you have an umbrella." It was tasty too! "What you had to worry about were the marshmallows. You'd be trapped until you are yourself out the sticky prison." He grinned and spit out his forked tongue, winking gently at the silly foals.

The spirit snorted at Applejack's foaltalk. Honestly if she kept it up the foal would learn to speak gibberish instead of Equestrian. He floated upright, tucking his paw and claw to his chest, a smirk painting on his lips. "You have my word! Not a hair on their manes harmed." He crossed his claw over his chest, suddenly wearing a green scout shirt and skirt, his sash of earned badges across his chest. After a moment it vanished and he moved along to headlong to the homestead, swirling occasionally around the younger members of the marching band.

Oh it was going to be so much fun! He jokes and teased, making the most awful knock knock jokes along the entire walk!

The little filly appeared to turn a slight shade of cyan as Moonprancer mentioned the little unicorn’s lack of speech. ‘Ah Horse Hockey!’, she thought to herself. Why in the world did she forget to mention that Bebop could not speak? That should have been ‘numero uno’ on the list of things she should know. Even above the fact that Fast Track was terrified of clowns, still wears ‘hoofy pajamas’ to bed, and has a list of current ‘crushes’ he keeps in the bottom drawer of his desk.  Wind really wanted to reply, but decided it would be for the best that Bebop would respond in her own special way. At least the unicorn was easy to buy gifts for. Can't think of something. Get her a little notepad!

The little colt was pretty sure he just received a compliment. "Thanks Scootaloo! Ah done had a feelin' ah sounded like a real country pony!" After the blue filly whispered back that she was being sarcastic, Fast Track gasped, "Thunderation!" The elder of the Apples also made sure to point out her displeasure in the colt's not-so-very-good interpretation of a country pony. "Sorry Lady Applejack!", he yelped back as his cheeks turned a slight shade of red. This quickly vanished as Discord spoke of his ghostly activities. Ho-Boy. This was going to be worse than his previous sleepover. Why did he keep agreeing to do these! Not only did he have to deal with an overabundance of fillies, he also had an actual ghost in the group! The horror! After shaking his head, he quickly broke into a canter as the others followed Applejack!

For now it seemed Bebop was still busy tugging her luggage to the door and trying to bring it in. The small filly Tugged her large bag over closer to the door frame before stopping where she stood and taking a few deep breaths. Hearing Wind's explanation of Discord, Bebop held up a little post it with the words "He's Harmless" Written on it. Another few tugs and she'd gotten her things in past the door frame... now to get it to... the ... bedroom. Her head lowered down past her shoulders and her brow furrowed at the sight of a gosh-darned staircase.

A break couldn't hurt, and Moonprancer's question gave her a good chance to stop working on her physical muscles and flex her more magical ones: With telekinesis. The pony wrote down her response. After some quick swiping and dotting and crossing with her pencil she held up her notepad.

"Yes. problem with vocal cords. Can't make a voice. I learned how to write quickly with magic to make up for it."
