To say that there were butterflies in her stomach as she waited at the end of the aisle for her bride to make her way down would have been an understatement. They certainly didn't feel like butterflies. She had faced death in the eyes many times. What with the events within the Spire, the missions that she's been on with EPIC. Her term in WhiteScar, her Tour in Neighpon, Her delve within the Crystal Caves looking for something that could save the entire pony kind from diseases. Her trek through the volcanic lands of the dragons to save her best friend. She had been through a lot of scary things, but none of that ever made her any more nervous than she was right now. Everything that she had aspired to be in her life was leading up to this very moment. Fire Heart. The one pony that she cared about more than any other pony in Equestria. To her, even the princesses were pawns when talking about her. Okay, perhaps that's a bit of an overstatement, but still. Fire Heart was the fire inside of her that kept her going and kept her on the front lines. She she gave her the drive and the will to protect others because in doing so she was protecting her as well.

Now, after years of dating, and fights, and wars, and kidnappings. Everything was finally coming to a sense of closure. She stood there in the center of the Canterlot Gardens, at the end of an aisle that had been made specifically for her and her fiance. She boasted a white dress, with frosted embellishments flowing through the fabric, giving the dress the feel of flowing ice. Definitely a dress befitting of an ice mage, her topaz earrings and maneband melding with the ensemble quite elegantly. The cloudless sky gave way for the sun to glimmer off of her dress, and just enough of a breeze to accentuate the flowing design. She paid the weather ponies a good amount of bits to make sure they had absolutely perfect weather for the event Not too warm for her, but not cold for anypony else.  She could feel her legs quivered a bit, both from standing there for a bit and because of the nervousness that was being felt. She looked around to all the ponies that had gathered for her wedding and smiled. This right here, was why she did what she did. And she never felt more proud of herself for it.

"Closer for Celestia's Solar Rump's sake!" growled the Swift Squall while looking at the Canterlot Castle that was growing before the flying vessel.. The hesitation of the crew members started to irritate him, especially since he was almost late to the wedding of his friend!

"Maybe Sir, if we could fly above the Gardens and the you could parachute..." the 'captain' and at the same time pilot of the airship started.

"The last time when I did just that on the occasion involving Ice Storm, it ended with unpleasantness for everypony present. I would rather not remind her of that. Not today. ESPECIALLY not today." noblepony quickly shot down the proposition.

"But this is just a prototype Sir! We don't know if it will be capable..."

"Correct, a prototype. I have full awareness of the fact captain - mainly because I invested thousands of bits in it's development - but thank you for the reminder. Now I will remind you of something captain. The prototypes are to be tested. And this whole flight was just that. We got  to the arctic and back without issue! I am sure a little bit of mid air hovering will be another one that this craft will pass with flying colors." swordstallion continued

"But the Princesses would be furious that we disturb Canterlot airspace without permission! And we be flying so close.to the Castle. We can damage the airship! It would..."

'How in the world such a pansy became aircraft tester?' Swift wondered inside his head, annoyed. But when he spoke it was calm rebuttal to the pilot worries

"The Princesses...will understand. You should know that they put great emphasis on the friendship, something that I agree with wholeheartedly. Second, Gaheris is built from enchanted mythril. We would sooner damage the Castle then the other way around. And third, even if it was damaged, machines can be replaced. Lost time can't. Now captain. Pull.Closer." he ordered, implying that the conversation was over.

The ponies of Canterlot were for quite treat. It was not often that such unusual airship was seen over the city. Number of flying pegasi gave a double take at the flying behemoth that was making distinctive droning noise and leaving a trial of sparking orange glitter behind it.

It soon found itself over cliff-side portion of Canterlot Gardens and begun lowering the altitude.

"Six Dragons Casino price is dropping rapidly. Make sure to sent someone to Las Pegasus along with appraiser. I want to make sure they not seeling it because it's falling apart." Squall instructed his two assistants to the very last moment, as he waited near loading ramp. "Also by Alechmius Incorporated shares soon, since their value will be rising. Make sure that we obtain no less the 20%. Well it looks I am off." Squall mused as the ramp opened up. The crew aligned the airship perfectly. Unicorn took the suitcase containing the wedding gifts and walked outside, seconds later touching the grass. Swift was dressed as expected of him, but almost entirely in white, with some emerald accents. Most notably his half transparent sunglasses.

"Looks like I am just on time." said the chick clothed stallion, as the vessel behind him ascended with a thunderous roar.

Pyro was actually pretty excited about this. It wasn't every day one of your friends gets married, after all. The white unicorn was wearing his typical sunglasses, along with a simple black suit and tie he got from his father. He really hadn't been to any of these before, so that was a plus too. Maybe he could help with the party afterwards, who knows?

For now though, the stallion approached the gardens, giving a wave to Ice as he looked around for Fire. Sure, he knew both of them, but he knew Fire much better considering their similar abilities and the fact they trained together on occasion. His search was interrupted by an airship coming down and depositing a single unicorn that was obviously flaunting his wealth.

"Yeah, take a seat dude." Pyro called to him as he found his own seat. "Cryo says congrats, by the way." He said to Ice, smiling slightly at her. "He says he'd be here if not for his guard duties."

Fire Heart was nervous...no...more than nervous. In fact she had never been more nervous in her life, definitely more than when she completed her final exams at Celestia's School or meeting Twilight Sparkle for a special private lesson. She didn't know why she was so anxious, shuffling her hooves in the preparation room. After all, this is what she always dreamed of and what she waited for these past few months. Ice Storm was the love of her life, the one who was there through the good times and the bad. She thought back to the first time when the two met under the most unlikely of circumstances and maybe not under the best one. From there the beautiful blue unicorn cooled her worried mind that felt that she couldn't be friends with anypony much less have a romantic relationship. But despite her magic and despite her worries, Ice was there even when she almost lost control of her magic!

Now here she was dressed in a white wedding gown with some red trim, making her look as regal as a Princess. In fact, she was a Princess today, even if she wasn't an Alicorn.

"Ok, Fire, this is it. This is the start of your new life. This is what you wanted, what you always wanted. Soon the wedding will start and so will your life with Ice."

After her own pep talk, the red unicorn waited for the ceremony to start. She had time and no doubt there would be more to arrive before the event really began.

A party and Discord was invited? How contrived. He loved it. Mad considerations aside: the spirit did love a good party. It was sure he was to come upon hearing of the festivities! Hardly true were one to truly know the chimeric whiffler, his whimsy did not include ponies who were not his friends. While he was driven to act a fool and impress those he has yet to form bonds with, he would not simply crash the party of a total stranger. So if the invite was intentional he had to know the bride or bride. But a wedding? It was quite inconsistent of him to join the festivities and be unable to create a stir. Now he was content not being the star of the show for the time being. After all he hadn't many chances to dress in his spiffiest outfit and show off his laudable sense of style. Divine!

So it was no accident that he was here, nor was it the whimsy of a god to visit some down on their luck mortal. No. He was here as a friend. Dressed to the teeth the chaotic spirit had a fine red waistcoat which sat perfectly matched with the silken collared shirt that was the finest of blues. Atop he wore a longcoat, black and with split coattails. The collared shirt was topped off with a yellow bow tie and fine white gloves on his paw and claw. On his cuffs hung rather chaotic cufflinks, tiny little medallions that resembled his horns and skull. The spirit was never late to a soiree, unless he was fashionably late!

He had arrived to take a seat on Icy's side. "Say cheesecake." His voice rumbled out with distinct amusement before snapping a photograph, the bright flash rather disorienting.

He gave a cackle and let the camera vanish. The chimeric beast was in a good mood, though twas mightily rare he wasn't. Settling back in his seat, which was as upfront as he could possibly wiggle himself, he had prime viewing of the events at hoof. He crossed his hindhoof over his hindtalon and cocked his head as he held out his paw, in which appeared a juice box. He gave an obnoxious slurp before pausing to look at Ice.

"You seem tense, juice?" He wiggled the box at her. "This is rather exciting I've never been to one of these!" After all with the trouble he could create there weren't many ponies that would invite him to such proceedings. Probably not most of his close friends either. "It's apple!"

Well… he did have a lot to pay back for. He did wonder if it was just obligation that he was invited. That worry managed to worm its way to the back of his mind, but it need not sour his mood so he kept a smiling face among it all. Besides Ice had found somepony! It wasn't every day a pony did… It made him wonder if he had somepony for him too, but how could a spirit like him settle down? Ho ho! So silly! He smirked.

"You're fine. Play it cool." He teased. Even at such a tense moment he was prepared to make jokes.

"At the gala, at the gala...hmmm hmm hmm hmmm hmm hm hmmmmm!" Pinkie jumped high and twirled in the air. The earth pony of smiles and fun landed delicately on one hoof before blowing a harsh note from her party horn.

"Pinkie Pie!" Princess Twilight Sparkle chided her friend as they trotted towards the wedding. "This is a wedding, not the Grand Galloping Gala and certainly not one of your crazy parties!"

"Crazy parties?!" Pinkie shoved her face into Twi's for a moment. "CRAZY PARTIES??!!!" She seemed outraged before her face split into the hugest of grins. "You mean off the wall, super duper amazing, sure to make your jaw drop from sheer excitement parties? Right?"

Twi let a small breath escape her muzzle. "Of course Pinkie." She smiled a cute smile as her friend bounded ahead once more.

"That's right of course!" She blew on her party horn once more.

Canterlot Gardens was outfitted fit for a wedding! Which was perfect because there was in fact to be a wedding on this most special of days. White bunting floated gracefully in the light breeze. Symbols of fire and ice entwined had been tastefully located here and there. Everything looked perfect!

"Gosh Twilight the gardens look really great today don't they?" Spike jogged along beside his friends.

"I should hope they do! On a day like today, these lucky mares deserve the best!" She cast a glance to her friends. "Now, let's not forget why we're here. Fluttershy, are your friends ready?"

The soft yellow pegasus looked skyward. "Oh yes Twilight! Everyone is ready!" As she spoke a few brightly colored song birds alighted on her back and mane. "Aren't you my cute little friends?" The birds trilled and chorused their positive response. "Just like we rehearsed, right?" Another chorus of trills.

"And Pinkie, you're in charge of the flowers right?"

"Righty roo!" Pinkie pronounced, a huge bouquet of flowers appearing from behind her back.

"Spike?" Twilight eyed her faithful assistant.

"Rings?" He patted the pocket on his chest. "Check!"

"Great! Let's make this the most special of days, shall we?" The Princess of Friendship stepped forth, ready to help a shining example of love and friendship tie their bonds tight for life!

Twilight noted the guests that had already arrived. She smile at some, waved at others. Soon she came upon Ice Storm and Discord.

"Ready to go?" She asked casually, eyeing the god of chaos for a brief moment.

"...And don't you two forget to give me some grandkids one day, sweetie."

Those lovingly jesting words, and a hug, were the last things Mist Weaver had given Ice Storm earlier in the day before leaving her daughter's dressing room. Like any prideful mother, Mrs. Weaver was overjoyed that this special day had finally come. True, the Hoofington mare once thought that Ice's pick for a special somepony was a little strange. In time however, Mist had grown to accept Fire Heart upon perceiving the strong bond of love between her and Ice.

That was much more than what could be said for Mrs. Weaver's husband. He had come down with a mysterious ailment mere days before the wedding, so of course he couldn't attend. Truth be spoken, that stallion never forgave Ice Storm for running away from their home, no longer regarding her as family. Mist knew better than to push the issue, so she was completely fine with leaving him behind anyway. It was undoubtedly for the best, anyway.

As for Mrs. Weaver's gull companion Scuttle, he also remained in Hoofington. The mare would rather not think about it, but Scuttle was reaching the point where long journeys away from home tired him out. In other words, the seagull was getting old now.

Taking her seat at the front, Mist Weaver noticed all the other guests in attendance. Was that Discord among them? To think there was still so little Mrs. Weaver knew about her little sweetie's life. Maybe one day, the two mares could finally find time for a nice long chat.....

Goodness, was that whale of airship really necessary? Belle couldn't help but wonder how such a thing got the proper paperwork to appear over Canterlot. She would have to admit that using an Airship to arrive at the proceedings would have been a faster and less bumpy ride than by carriage. All those bumps on the had made an already very tired pony somewhat irritable. "Such a crude creation." She muttered before getting out of the passenger seat and tipping the cabby generously.

This was likely the first time Silver Belle had made a public appearance in perhaps years since the sacking of the crystal empire. Since then the mare had been spending almost all of her time in her study and library back in Trottingham. All that time had made a previously eager and playful magic teacher somewhat.... weathered. Her mane looked messier than before, her eyes looked noticeably tired, and now she'd taken to wearing cloaks more often. There was something that managed to bring a scholar who lost her luster out of her funk (at least partially): A letter from a former student.

As a magic lecturer and expert, Ice storm had come to the duchess of Trottingham to get help honing her potent ice magics. Now here was one of her students getting married! This was such a joyous day! Belle had worked hard to come up with a gift for the couple and with time she'd managed to get something for them and also had come along to deliver her daughter's gift to the happy couple: seeing as she was overseas at the moment. Seeing all the happy ponies with the one half of the contrasting couple, Belle roamed the seats and until she found someone familiar looking.

Now sitting behind Mist Weaver, "Excuse... you wouldn't happen to be a sister of Miss Ice storm would you?" She asked in that more well enunciated Trottingham noble accent.

When Ice Storm looked at all of the many ponies that had come to the wedding itself, the butterflies that were in her stomach started feeling more like dragonflies. Equestria, while being a utopia most of the time also had a knack for letting things go wrong at the absolute time. She couldn't count how many times she'd have to change courses of action on the fly because of one thing or another and so far, the wedding had gone very smoothly. Almost too smoothly which in her gut meant that something was coming that was going to disrupt everything. However, if there was ever a moment that she ever wanted to be more wrong, it was this one. To see all of the guests that showed up, some of them... using less average means of entering into the gardens. A prototype flagship? Really Swift? were you trying to get on the princess' bad side? For not though as he found a place and the airship ascended.

A few other familiar faces showed themselves as well. Pyro, a pony that she knew through a few of her missions that she had been on, was present, and then of course Twilight, and some of her friends, Twilight being the one that was organizing everything. She would have never guessed that she would have been able to get Princess Twilight of all ponies to host her wedding, but at the same time they had been friends for a while. They hadn't been able to speak much since she joined EPIC, and her shops, and the guild, and the study that she was maintaining with Luna... IT made keeping in contact with a lot of her friends difficult. She was happy that they showed up nevertheless and would make sure to make it up to them in some way. perhaps a moths worth of free snow cones or frozen treats of their liking when they visit her Ponyville location of Frozen Delight's!

It would be the absolute least that she would be able to do for them. Then of course two very special ponies that were in the audience for the wedding were none other than her mother, and one of her favorite old teachers that she took classes from while she was in the college. Of course her mother and here had spent most of their lives apart, and she noted that her father wasn't around. Likely for the best. From what she heard from her mother, he never forgave her for running away. That was perfectly fine with her because she never forgave him for being an apathetic, fascist monster. That was neither here nor there though. Today was not about the past, but what the future held for her and her soon to be wife.

Ma'dam Belle though was a bit different. When she was in the college, her and Pressy were really good friends, and still are whenever they can find time to see each other. Both of them are exceptionally busy, and she heard that she was overseas right now. When she heard that her mother would be attending though, she was ecstatic! Mrs. Belle was one of the best teachers at the academy! She constantly sought her wisdom and guidance through the school and still implores a lot of the knowledge that Mrs. Belle gave her today on her missions, and on more than one occassion it's gotten her out of some trouble.

Then of course was the most odd of her guests. The spirit of Chaos himself. He was quick to make his way over to her before capturing a picture with her with a flash that was everything but blinding, causing her to see white for a couple seconds before shaking her head and giving him a small look. When he made the observasion that she was tense, she rolled her eyes. "Gee, what could have possibly given you that idea?" she responded in a lowish voice, not wanting to attract any attention. Well, no more so than the Discord already would have. When he offered her some juice, she had to admit it was tempting, but she didn't want to risk getting any of it on her dress. "Just a sip," she responded taking only that. When he said that she'd be fine, she sighed. "I know that we'll be fine... but you and I both know this is Equestria," she said with a sigh as Twilight came up to them asking if she was ready.

With a smile she turned to Twilight. "Twilight, I have never been more ready for anything in my life. I'm sure we're all ready to begin the ceremony when you and your friends are ready," she smiled to them noting that Spike already had the rings, Fluttershy already had the birds ready, and the flowers, and Pinkie was well, being pinkie and soon had the entire park decorated with more accents and everything on there end was ready. "Let's do this," she said with a smile.

Squall looked around. It seems that Ice had many friends from very different places. Some of the gathered ponies and non-ponies Squall knew ponysonaly. Others were familiar to him due to their renown. And there were some that he laid his eyes on for the first time.

"In due time." Swift said to the stallion that addressed him and fidgeted a little. Noblepony spent last six hours sitting in this flying can, and he wasn't in hurry spent more time doing the same here. Instead Squall approached Ice Storm and...Discord? This was unexpected attendance. Swordstallion didn't saw draconequs since the time he popped up in his manor. Well at least they parted amicable terms...as much as anypony would can say that they 'amicable' with this spirit.

"Color me surprised...." Swift said in response to Discord's admission of his unfamiliarity with marriage "Seeing that you older then masonry, one would think you have it checked out on your 'To Do' list Gramps." unicorn continued as he approached the group, the sword and scabbard strapped to his side clanking against metal suitcase he brought with him.

His focus then shifted to one of the two main stars of the event, Ice.

"Sorry for causing the scene. I got here straight from the Arctic, business reasons  - by the way, you would really like the scenery - and catching a train from there is not really an option if you value time. Even then, I wasn't sure if I am not late till now." Squall started, offering Storm some explanation.

"Now...let me see..." he stepped back and gave blue mare a quick look over. "...If you were worried, don't. You look positively radiant." noblepony assured her before giving her a warm smile. Noblepony opened his mouth, apparently to add something else, but he stopped when seeing who was approaching from the gardens.

"Twilight Sparkle...." Swift muttered while eyeing purple unicorn up and down, before his gaze shifted back to Ice.

"Well...this is it. Don't hesitate Storm, this is just the beginning." swordstallion advised before stepping aside, to give Princess and her friends some space. By doing so he unintentionally got closer to two, middle aged mares - and one of them was more then familiar.

"Ms. Belle. It's been a long time. Way too long." he greeted the Duchess. She became more hoary since the last time he saw her - although only the careful observation could tell that more parts of her silver mane became replaced with white. "....Mother was worried about you. She said you barely reply to her letters, don't come to visit..." he added, with hint of reproach in his words. His attention then moved to the other mare, sitting next to Lady Belle. Squall blinked upon noting the mare color scheme, the structure of her muzzle. Noblestallion took quick glance at Ice, then back at Mist, another at Ice and one more at Mist. A spark of understanding glinted in business-stallion eyes as he rubbed his chin.

"I see.....the resemblance is uncanny...Miss...?"

Well, there were certainly lots of guests that showed up suddenly. He didn't really recognize any of them aside from Discord and Twilight, though he only knew them from the news and stuff like that. Looking around briefly, he sighed to himself. He supposed it wouldn't be likely anyone he actually knew would be here, but still. He eventually decided to approach the pink pony who's name was escaping him at the moment.

"Hey. How are you doing?" He asked, giving a friendly smile to the pink mare holding the flowers. It took him a moment longer to realize the mare's name, chuckling a bit as he remembered. "You're Pinkie Pie, right? I've heard about you. Do you need any help with the party after? I can do pyrotechnics and stuff like that."

Fire Heart opened the door leading to the main room and peered in briefly to see all who would attend. There certainly was a large group of ponies there from Ice Storm's mom to Princess Twilight Sparkle to even Discord? Well, as long as he didn't cause any chaos he was more than welcome to stay. But the red unicorn's eyes were fixed upon Ice Storm who was in the midst of talking to a few guests. She looked so beautiful standing there in her gown, but she also looked just as nervous as Fire was. This was a big step for both of them, one filled with joy and being anxious in the unknown. But she had friends, just like Fire did, and of course they had each other.

"I'm ready for this."

It seemed the others were finally filtering into the party. Look at that Discord wasn't fashionably late this time! In fact he was rather early, which could have been a bit disconcerting in and of itself. A casual lean back into his seat as a group of familiar waddled in would catch even the dullest eye. Even if his outfit didn't stand out, the male himself was a tangle of peculiarities. A humble little pony like Icy in cahoots with a wild card like Discord? Seemed the oddest friendship, but there were stranger. He pulled his hindtalon to cross his hoof as that trademark smirk of mischievousness painted his features like a bright war banner on a castle.

Discord held a moment while Icy took a sip of his juicebox. It seemed a bit silly how he was drinking from a little box, of which barely fit in his paw, while wearing a suit that seemed altered for a penguin! He was rather susaged in it, squeezed tight and it could be claimed he just didn't lose enough weight in time for the wedding. Shedding pounds after winter was a feat even magic couldn't provide him.

"My, they've certainly gone all out for you. Don't mind their tendency to go overboard. You should relax. This sort of party adds to the adventure, doesn't it? " He would gently tease, rattling up support for his friend. "Ahh -- " taking a rather loud slurp of his box. "With the Princess of Friendship backing the venue, not even I could turn the event into a rowdy affair… unless you need me too." He winked.

Leaning back the rambunctious spirit would take a moment to really get a fix on the crowd. Speak of the devil and Squall will tally in to vanquish it. And they called him out on showboating. It was honestly unfair! While Squall went in his usual rants the draconequus' attention slowly drifted, the straw from his box sliding out as his head leaned further back and paw refused to move. His lips pursed as his gaze came upon an older mare whom gave off a sense of relaxed maturity. If he could put a word to it she was affectionate… even concerned. Whatever about? He had never met Icy's special somepony, but with all the ups and downs she seemed to experience this was a constant. Whenever she made mention of them she would do so with such ardent devotion, even he could tell quite clearly that Fire was a little different.

An older mare, at least given her careworn features, as if she spent one too many nights until the candle was on its last wick. His thoughts drifted as the two mares spoke. Something about the spectacle wearing mare reminded him of those old, homely mages that carried mallets. His head tilted, as if one would suddenly fall from the wings of her fabric. He jumped to sit up when Icy began talking to Twilight, acting as if he was maybe not really on his best behavior. His intentions were always questionable, at best. He did mean well, even if he loved to tease the mare of Friendship. The empty box was tossed back, landing perfectly into the refuse bin. He parted his jaws to let a snide comment slide from his muzzle, but those angular ears snapped back as Pyro got into party chatter with Pinkie. He had never seen, not met the fellow before, but there seemed many faces he simply didn't know. It had reminded him that he wasn't quite as knowledgeable of the it crowd as he used to be…

"Shouldn't we be getting started? It wouldn't do to be tardy..." He teased.

Twilight eyed Squall as he looked her over. His intentions did not seem of the disorderly nature and he was a swordstallion. The Princess smiled to him and nodded.

"Glad to have you hear...Squall was it?" She had heard his name mentioned but hadn't been formally introduced. "That was quite a ship you arrived in." Her eyes shifted up to the airship as it continued to ascend from its drop off location.

As Ice Storm spoke of her readiness to get things underway Twilight smiled in her direction. "Yes, let's do this!"

Twilight glanced at Discord. "Wouldn't want to be tardy indeed Discord..." She motioned to a seat in the front row. "Now go take your seat." Discord had been so chummy with all the ponies lately. Twilight couldn't quite place what to make of him. So far he was being supportive of the brides, and not causing too much trouble.

Princess of Friendship nodded to Fluttershy after a moment.

"Oh! Oh my friends! It's time to get started...t-that is if you're all feeling ready?"

A bejeweled hummingbird flitted in front of the yellow mare's nose. It gave her a nod and a wink before flying about the flock of song bird. It seemed the hummingbird was in charge of keeping everybird in order.

"Lovely! Now, you all just sing out!" Fluttershy couldn't have beamed wider in pleasure as her little friends began an opening tune. It was a suggestion for everypony to be seated, the ceremony was underway!

Pinkie found herself stopped by a white unicorn with a flaming mane and tail.

"Well hello to you too! Yep, I'm Pinkie Pie! And you must be ummmm....you must be, yep! Pyro Blaze!" Pinkie had long made it her goal to know the names of all the residents of the area and any other pony that happened to be around.

"Do I need any help with the after party?" Pinkie thought, tapping her chin with a hoof for a moment. "Of course I do!" She bounced around the unicorn for a moment before his offer of pyrotechnics. "Wow! Sure you can help!" Then the birds started to trill the beginning of the ceremony. "Catch up with me later okie dokie?"

Pinkie then bounded to a spot not far from Fire Heart. "You all ready to go?" She beamed. This was such an amazing and happy day!

Spike was ready with the rings. He offered a thumbs up to Ice Storm. "Oh, this is so exciting!" The little dragon had been to a few weddings, but he always got super excited about them.

Soon Pinkie was bouncing down the isle, scattering the most elaborate and beautiful display of flower petals. After this, Fluttershy motioned to her birds to begin the song that heralded Fire Heart to walk down the isle.

The wedding ceremony had begun!

Spoiler

I think I got everything in...sorry if I read anything wrong or missed anyone who was interacting with my characters. Next post Twilight will begin speaking and the two can exchange vows and such. :) At least that's what I'm planning. Let me know in a PM if I need to change anything.

"Excuse... you wouldn't happen to be a sister of Miss Ice storm would you?"

"I see.....the resemblance is uncanny...Miss...?"

Two ponies were curious to know who the motherly guest was. One, a mare of regal bearing who appeared to have walked right out of the Ivory Tower from Magic Guild pony tales; the other, a flashy playcolt complete with sunglasses. "The name's Mist Weaver," she spoke as she shook the hoof of each noblepony, adding; "I'm Ice Storm's mother. Who might the two of you be?"

It was right about this time when the little avian musicians started chirping the usual wedding tunes. Mrs. Weaver lost her chance to follow up on just how these completely different unicorns came to be acquainted with her daughter, but no matter. There was plenty of time for that at the reception. Right now, Misty focused her eager gaze on the mare who was to be Icy's bride.....

It didn't take long for Swift Squall to make his way to where herself and Discord were standing, addressing Discord first about something masonry and calling him gramps, which made her giggle a bit. It was good because it helped ease the tension that was flowing through her at the moment. The tension around her was so thick for the most part from her nerves that if it were any thicker, she could have used it as armor. He apologized for causing a bit of a scene and that he was coming back from business in the arctic, adding the fact that she would really love the scenery up there. She couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully. Because of course the Mare of Ice would find an icy tundra serene. He slowly made his way to the back though and began to speak with her mother for a bit.

From there she heard Discord comment that she really should just relax. He also added that she needed not to worry about him causing a rucus, unless she wanted him to. That he wouldn't be able to do such a thing in the presence of the Princess of Friendship. That came as a small relief to her. Of course it wasn't that she didn't trust Discord, but she also knew that sometimes things just happened. the Princess of Friendship being here was relieve on more regards than just that. If anything went wrong, they were all in good hooves, even though most of the ones here were now trained to handle things going wrong. Though that would definitely not be how she wanted to start her wedding.

At the moment that the music started chirping from the birds that Fluttershy had brought for the wedding, everything in Ice Storm's body felt numb to the world. Anxiety had nearly paralyzed her from the event as she turned ever so slowly to watch down the aisle for when her wife to be started to make her way down. As she did, she catch that her mother again speaking with Swift a bit and a few others speaking about, but lost focus on everything else as soon as Fire came into view. Her dress was that of a pure white, accenting the bit of red that lined it, playing off of her own dress that was pure white with blue trim and accents. Her mane a nice and beautiful, Fire Heart looked like a princess today. And for the rest of their lives, Fire was at the very least, her princess. The butterflies returned tenfold as she watched her approach, feeling the warmth inside her as her face boasted one of the happiest smiles a pony could display.

'Wow. Discord being sensible. Tartarus has frozen over.' Squall though after hearing spirit's words of encouragement for Ice 'Truly an end of an era.' he added some more first person snark.

"From the certain point of view I guess...." Squall answered to Twilight's remark while gazing after receding vessel "This is still a prototype, and only alpha version at best. We are trying to build one that would go away with envelope completely. I guess it would make them more of a skyship at that point - akin to caribou's flying longboats. Problem is - development so far is quite costly, and we are encountering some technical hiccups again and again. And even if we would be able to deal with those, I am not sure if branching into airship production would be viable enough. There are number of other companies and developers that already established themselves on that marked long time ago - like Northern Storm Industries for example. We will probably stick with making them for internal distribution only for 'Tempest' own use. Well unless....." Squall paused and his eye rested at Sparkle.

"My, this is turning into rant. I believe those should wait until those two will get married...." noblestallion mused. That said, the moment when he interrupted himself was really awkward....

Suddenly Swift could feel his ears twitching. Years of avoiding mortal danger has sharpened his hearing, and now despite the commotion around him, unicorn could hear the creaking of slowly opening door. Swordpony turned his head around, only to find himself looking straight at Fire Heart, peeking across the garden.

"Huh...." Squall muttered intriguingly after a few seconds of eye contact. "I must say Ice....." he started, after shifting his eyes back on cyan mare "...you found yourself quite a cutie. I guess we have similar tastes when it comes to this." noblepony teased, in attempt to make her relax.

Of course there was two more mares that he was conversing with. Squall found himself nodding after Mist Weaver confirmed what he was suspecting.

"If somepony else would had told me this Mrs. Waver, I would call him or her a liar." noblepony started "One can very well take you as yours daughter's sister or cousin." he complimented the sitting mare.

He was ready to introduce himself in turn, however it appears it was to late for that. The chorus of birds begun to wave their tune, and Ice's bride started to make her way to the altar. Come to think of it, they were brides to each other, wasn't it?

Squall shook his head, dismissing useless technical details of the ceremony. All that mattered was that they were to entwine their lives together now. If those two would have wished to marry at the bottom of the ocean, it was nopony business to question that.

Swift once more glanced at his friend. Ice seemed to be week on her knees, entranced by fiery mare waling through the garden. Was that from nervousness or from overwhelming happiness, swordstallion couldn't tell. For a moment he felt an urge to say something encouraging, or to put his reassuring hoof on her shoulder - but he withed himself. This was their moment and their alone. So instead he shifted a closer to Storm, ready to assist if her body wouldn't be able to keep up with - no doubt - fluttering heart.
