It means that he is a darkness that needs help to find its light or forever be a demon in disguised as a unicorn.If you ask about Shadow's cutie mark and how he got it he'll respond with "It's a dark tale that I wish not to speak." Unique traits: A journal, a smooth and weird rock that hangs on a neckless, an old coin made of silver and a cloak made with red cloth and leather. History: Shadow was born in canterlot. Life for him was tough. He didn't see things like everyone else. He loved the darkness and shadows and despised the princesses. He never knew his parents since they gave him up a birth. He did how ever managed to find his brother Flame and sister Cinder after years of looking. Eventually he did something that if he confessed about, he would get the death sentence then and there so he went into hiding. Shadow is hoping that someone helps him with what has happened and show him the light. Personality: Quiet, mysterious, careful, caring at time, loyal, honest, obedient, lonely Summary: An recluse that is hoping that someone will show him the light in his darkness and is hiding from the law.
