Tell me what you really think Daring and bear in mind I am very sensitive to critique!

Another week which means another episode full of the adorable ponies we all know and love!  This week it is the return of our favorite mane six odd couple! Rarity and Applejack! ;):?  You know what that means!  More Rarijack shipping fuel for the fandom, and after last week's episode being the Pearl Harbor of ship sinking, the poor fandom's shippers will be desperate to further legitimize this ship!  How much innuendo will they get? Tune in to find out! The episode airs Saturday 11:30 AM EST on May 27th!! :) <3

This thread is dedicated to discussing the episode before, during, and afterwards. As the thread is now open it may indeed contain spoilers (especially since this episode aired last week in Canada). I ask that potential spoilers talked about or shown before the episode airs stay within the spoiler tags please, after the episode you no longer have to use the spoiler tags, but warning, if you haven't seen the episode yet after it airs, this thread no doubt will have all sorts of spoilers in reviews, images, etc. So tread at your own risk.

Fun little episode..Not one I'd re-watch, but still fun.  For some reason I thought we were getting that -other- Applejack episode. But it looks like we won't get that until the mini-break is over. :smug:

Spoiler

I did like all the 'fashion' ponies. It's nice to see Photo Finish and I do like Inky Rose..I believe this is the first time you see Photo's eyes and she is a bit younger than I thought she was..Still, AJ was probably not the best judge they could have picked....

Spoiler

Honestly, this episode was a little bit above average.  It had some funny moments, but it also had some moments I felt were downright cruel.  There is an underlying lesson here, that there are times people can be cruel and mean but not realize they're acting that way.  Applejack, for example, was completely oblivious to the harm she was doing all in the name of 'being honest.'  Though I believe THAT moral lesson was strong, the rest of the storyline seems, underwhelming.  Just my honest opinion, folks....

I hated this episode. I hate how they have flanderized Applejack. They took three traits of hers- "honest", "farmer", "cares about family" and made it her entire character. In this episode, they took her honesty and morphed it into a betrayal of the most getting alongest pony in town. Considering how rare getting Applejack-centric episode is, it is always beyond awful how she is treated like an inconsiderate idiot three-quarters of the time when we DO receive them...all of which is a betrayal of her character. Hated this episode.
