So, in essence, if you post an interest check and nobody joins, then it unfortunately means that there is no roleplayer on this site who would be interested in the topic at the given time. Signing up in others interest checks or joining an open rp is usually the surest and easiest way to get the train going. Alternatively, you can message people directly and ask them politely if they would be interested in playing with you. Do check that their "RP Ready" is set to "Yes" or "Ask me" before you do though.
