Eye colour: Silver

Coat: A deep blue, similar to the sky after the sun has set.

Mane/Tail: A silvery blue, much like Trixie (the Great and Powerful)
Physique: Stocky and thick due to his work on his families farm.
Residence:  The Peachy Keen Farm, a place out in the middle of nowhere (But not too far from Filly Delphia)

Occupation: Comet Dash has two jobs: One is working the orchards and tending the sheep at his parents farm, the other is mapping out the stars at the Lunaris Observatory at night. This has led to a very poor sleep schedule.

Cutie Mark: A blue-white comet shooting behind some clouds

He was supposed to be in bed when it happened. Comet Dash had forgotten to close the gate all the way, and one of the sheep had managed to escape before he remembered. He was tracking her down now, calling for her gently. He finally found her in a little clearing in the woods, long after the stars had come out. When he had her safely leashed, he realized how bright it was in the clearing. He looked up just in time to see the bright white light of the comet as it streaked past the treetops, and he felt his heart leap. A newfound love of the stars filled him as he brought the sheep back to her pen, and he was so excited he didn't even notice the cutie mark until the next morning.

Unique Traits: A small scar around the base of his right ear where he fell out of a tree trying to look closer at the sky. He landed on a branch on the way down, which caught his ear on a badly broken part.

 

History: Comet was born the third-to-last foal in a family of eleven. He has four older brothers, three older sisters, and two younger ones. He grew up with hand-me-downs of all kinds: clothes, toys, tools, books, etc., and rarely had anything to call truly his own. When he did get that rare gift however, he cherished it. His parents did love him dearly, as they did all of their children, but they were busy and over-worked, so they sometimes came off as too gruff. Fortunately, Comet understood this. And so, he did his best to not be underhoof and allow them space, but he also took care of his younger sisters to help them to feel loved more. 

Because of his trying to be out of the way, Comet often found himself out of the house. And once his chores were finished, he would let his curiosity take him all over, sometimes leading his little sisters along too. They had a great number of adventures together in the woods near their farm, and grew very close. They ended up feeling like their other siblings were extended family rather than immediate, save for their older sister Peach Pit. She was the exception only because she was careful to make sure all of her family were fed, clean, and happy, acting like a second mother at times.

It was no small wonder then that when the Lunaris Observatory extended a job offer to Comet, he leapt on the opportunity. A chance to get out of the confines of their farm, and to explore more of the world? He couldn't wait. He ended up taking short cuts through the woods to get there and back faster, but he hasn't gotten lost yet.

 

Character Personality: Curious, considerate, and out-spoken, he tends to make friends on the sheer fact that he can't stop asking about them. He enjoys the company of other ponies, so long as it doesn't get in the way of what he's doing. He tends to be very tunnel-visioned when he starts a project, and it's very hard to break him out of it. Really only those close to him, such as his little sisters, can break him out of his concentration.

He likes star-gazing, of course, but he also enjoys reading and various forms of science. Anything that lets him expand his knowledge is something he can enjoy, but he nothing is more fun than spending time with his sisters. He also goes crazy for peach cobbler (and apple pancakes, but don't tell his family!)

Character Summary: A very focused but outgoing pony who likes the night sky a lot.
