Thunder Strike is fit, she is always moving about. Since she is a performer she has to stay fit, slim, and agile to keep a good figure and to be able to perform without anything holding her back.

Residence: Cloudsdale, Ponyville

 

Lives in Cloudsdale but was born in Ponyville since her father is an earth pony.

Occupation: Wonderbolt

Cutie Mark: Dark grey cloud with lightening bolt

As a young pony Thunder Strike earned her cutie mark while she was helping her mother at work clearing out rain clouds. There was a particular cloud that no pony would even go near, it was a giant black storm cloud. Seeing this as a challenge Thunder Strike flew back to the ground to get herself positioned, taking off at such a speed that she looked like a dark grey blurr. As she made contact with the black strom cloud she gave it all she had. As she pushed her way through the cloud she could feel static in her hooves. That was when it happened, she was pushing her way out of the cloud, she kicked off of it and she blasted off, a loud booming noise and a trail of lightening and what appeared to be black smoke trailing past her as she broke through the cloud. Looking behind her she saw the cloud breaking into smaller pieces of cloud and disappearing. After landing again she met up with her mother, who scolded her about how dangerous that could've been.. But then she noticed that her daughter had earned her cutie mark. When attention was brought to it Thunder Strike was filled up with excitement! She had finally got her cuite mark!

Unique Traits: During takeoff or while in flight Thunder Strike can blast off with a big black cloud and lightening trailing behind her followed by a loud BOOM. Something simiar to Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom. Thunder does this only when she wants to either surprise people or to enjoy her own amazing trick. She finds it funny to do this while she is flying past other ponies so she can spook them, especially to her mother and brother. This only lasts for a few seconds, but while it happens it is one of the most coolest things!

 

History: Thunder Strike was born to an earth pony for a father and a pegasus as her mother (Thunder Cracker and Rainbow Drop) She was born and raised in Ponyville with her younger brother Sun Catcher. Growing up she liked to pick on her younger brother and she also liked to race the other foals in her neighborhood. As a filly (teenager pony I guess??) she was picked on for her freckles and crazy mane and tail, she grew to dislike those parts of herself and she became asocial and very self concious. She always wondered why in her foal days she was treated well but as a filly she was treated differently.. One thing that helped her stay at least a little bit happy was to watch the wonderbolts practice and perform. She would sit with her nose pointed to the sky watching with wide eyes. That was when she decided that one day she would become one, because that was what kept her happy. Thunder Strike would come home every day from her first job as a mail carrier to spend hours upon hours practicing. She had every routine memorized. When she received her acceptance letter she was shocked, was her dream coming true!? It was. She knew all she had to do now was pass the Wonderbolt academy, piece of cae right? Wrong. Thunder Strike struggled at first, she was not used to taking orders from a drill sergeant, she would constantly go against his word and then be punished for it. Slowly she learned that if she listened she would get closer to her goal. After graduating at the top of her class the word spread in her neighborhood, was that crazy haired freckle pony really a wonderbolt? When she returned home for a week break the other young ponies began treating her differently. What made her so different, was it the fact that she was now in a position of hard earned greatness? She would ignore all but her three family members. Thunder Strike was excited to return back to Cloudsdale, she had become good friends with a few of the ponies that she graduated with. She felt loved and welcome, she finally fit in somewhere. A few years later, now as a young mare, Thunder Strike is living her life to the fullest. She performs and practices with ponies that make her feel like she belongs. Though she still struggles with making new friends that aren't Wonderbolts she continues to learn and grow. Her next goal is to work hard to become one of the next drill sergeants, to help others succeed.

 

Character Personality: At fist Thunder Strike is one of the most asocial ponies, she has a wall built up so that she does not get hurt. She will seem rude, mean, and probably a bis condescending. But once she knows that she is not going to be bullied or tormented she will open up, she will become very energetic, excited, and happy. In short she will become a very high energy friend who will do anything for her friend. She is also ambitious and will always challenge herself to do greater things.

Character Summary: Thunder Strike is a light grey pony with a navy blue mane and tail. Her eyes are flame red orange and she has black stockings and she has freckles. She received her cutie mark bursting through a giant storm cloud and she was bullied as a young filly. She worked hard and graduated the Wonderbolt Academy and became what she wanted to be. She struggles to make friends but is learning how to trust.
