Today was a big day for the two of them, Ice Storm and Fire Heart. Today was the day they were going to be taking the tour of the Fire and Ice Hotel and Casino. It had been roughly a year since the plans were laid, and now they were getting ready to step hoof into the finished product for the first time. She had already picked up the keys to the casino doors earlier that morning, and she could barely contain her excitement. It was enough that the orbs that should have been in her necklace were freely floating around her. The air temperature wasn't too cold, but there was a noticeable cool breeze from them. It wasn't that Ice wasn't still in control of them, but sometimes her emotions, especially extreme emotions, could affect the spheres. No where near to the extent that they had before though. Before hoof if she was this excited, the ground under her would be completely frozen and she wouldn't have ever noticed.

She stood at the doors of the Mareage and trotted excitedly in place as she waited for Fire Heart to join her. "Oh this is going to be so much fun!! I can't wait to see what it looks like from the inside..." she said to herself as she looked onto the exterior of the hotel from here. It was right next door to the Mareage so it could easily be seen. It was just as tall as the Mareage, sitting at about twenty stories in both towers. The ice portion of the hotel looked like a giant glacier covered mountain, and while it was a little bit cliche and there was one that was right next to it, they decided to go ahead and go with the volcano idea for the fire side of the hotel. The volcano itself, while had a lava flow on it, wasn't an erupting volcano like the Mareage had next to it. It was just that, a cosmetic volcano and she was certain that it would be fine. The entrance of the casino was jagged and crystalline in nature. The two themes merged in the center and surrounding the doorways was what appeared to be a crystal of ice from the glacier transitioning into pure obsidian glass with somewhat of a purple sheen on the volcanic side as well as some malachite glass that made up the panels of the doors. Otherwise the doors were metal and were coated in a thin sheet of brass on the fire side and silver on the ice to keep the theme as aesthetically pleasing as possible. If it looked this good outside, she couldn't wait to get inside.
