The ending ot be expected, I suppose.That was an awesome conclusion though. Discord was awesome again. I think Twilight had the best lines though. Of course nothing was better than Rarity's reaction to the rock. "Let's never speak of this again..." That was fun. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the third episode of Season 2. AdamRB Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 Let me sum up this, and the previous episode, with one sentence.This should of been a movie.This isn't me saying it was so good I need more. Fact is a lot of the episode was rushed. Friendship Restored? Rushed. Discord Battle? Rushed. Ending? Rushed. This episode had a lot of good moments, and Discord is as great as ever; but it was matched by numerous moments where solutions seem to come too fast or the scene ends before you know it. So yeah; great episode and Discord is as great as ever. Should have been made into a feature length movie. Awesome!Back in Ponyville? So much for the Everfree forest theories.Well, looks like Twilight is the butt monkey this episode.The princesses must be really mad about the whole 60 second day/night thing.And they get even greyer.The rock is called Tom XDAha! They can see the grey. It's not just for the audience.The elements were in the book? Seriously?"Big crown thingy" Oh Twilight XDNew Rainbow Dash! I love it And the elements don't work. Surprise."Discord rules, Celestia drools""Make it stop!" Oh, poor Spike. And I saw a fanart that was the same thing as this o_oOh Gods, Granny and Big Mac ._.Unicorn mind meld!"I had the most terrible dream" Don't tell her the truth! Aj, I'm looking at you!And then she gets genuinely mad at Discord. Fluttershy is best pony.And he's back to stone! Good riddence! Not put that statue somewhere safe this time!Ugh, stupid Star Warsy ending. Well, at least we know that they're famous now.So, I enjoyed it, but it still felt... I dunno... off in places. The ending felt rushed. Discord should have been smart enough to notice that they were no longer under his spell. Instead he just sits there like a melon while the elements do their thing.Best part: "Congratulations! You're the new Rainbow Dash!"Worst part: Discord is actually kind of a lame villain. It was well worth it.Star Wars ending? - Incredibly Epic!Rainbow Dash chase scene? - 20% more epic!Big Mac digging while Granny Smith tap danced? - Hilarious!Spike being made temporary Rainbow Dash + his reaction? - I had tears from laughing.Whole library scene? - Awesome.Fluttershy as Cruelshy? - I was torn between love and hate. She's Fluttershy...Would write a whole bunch more on this but I'm fried. I needs sleep If these first two episodes are any indication, I can't wait for the rest of the season. Still kind of disappointing, even if it was expected. He was hilarious! I was hoping, nay, praying, that they could somehow find a way to keep him, but I guess I'll just have to get over it.I cried tears of joy when Fluttershy came back to her senses.
