Pinkie Pie's Hilarious Haunted House of Horrors

You know that Pinkie Pie always has the best—and also scariest haunted house in Equestria on Nightmare Night. Pinkie loves to pull pranks, ALMOST as much as she likes throwing parties. What better way to combine the two than on Nightmare Night?

Against your better judgment, you step inside. Every year, Pinkie's haunted house gets worse, more scary than the year before. It's something Pinkie enjoys immensely, and she goes all out, preparing for weeks on end. Pinkie Pie has even roped some of her friends into dressing up as horrible creatures, ready to jump out and scare anypony who might chance by!

This haunted house is well decorated this year - the painted skulls, glowing ghosts and the suspended bats swinging on the ceiling all look as though they could start chattering and making noises at you at any moment...the howling wind through open windows almost seem to be calling out to warn you of the potential troublesome spooks in the dark...waiting to leap out and scare anypony silly enough to cross them.

But you're all already far too deep in to turn back now - there's a prize in here someplace, a reward for those brave souls who have ventured into this dark, creepy place with the intent to conquer it this year...but of course, there's still much more in the unknown than you've probably seen, and who knows what other creepy surprises lay in wait for the unwary and the easily scared?

Dare you go on in?

'HA, a haunted house. These were never to scary in Stalliongrad therefore this will be the best place for me to prove myself' Orange thought to himself as he walked up to the entrance, unaware of the reputation Pinkie Pie had built up of having the scariest haunted houses this side of Equestria. Orange pushed open the door and stepped in, head held high full of hubris, Orange could only marvel at the complexity of the 'decorations', there were severed hooves hanging from the ceiling a pony skeleton in the corner, all of it just looked so real. 'Wow, everything just looks so well done, so real, this must be this pony's special talent or something' Orange shuddered at the thought of what that pony would be like 'creepy'.

As Orange placed his last hoof into the threshold the door slammed shut behind him bumping his flank, Orange tumbled onto the floor that was made slippery with magic before hand. Orange slid head first into the pony skeleton, when Orange opened his eyes he remembered all to well about his bruised muzzle he had received at the house of mirrors, he looked up 'huh a white stick, oh wait' the realisation dawned on him of what had only happened just moments ago, "sweet Celestia" Orange yelled as he stood up quickly the skeleton falling into a pile of bones on the floor. 'Ok keep your cool ... don't panic, your just in a haunted house, it's just a haunted house, they're never scary ... right?' Orange started to calm himself down until he felt an unsettling crawling sensation on his mane 'uh is a cobweb stuck in my hair, wait ... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 black legs ...' "SPIDER!" Orange started yelling "GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF" Orange immediatley started to rub his head on the floor in an effort to forcibly remove the spider from his mane. After what felt like hours of head rubbing on the floor Orange was fairly certain the spider was gone 'what kind of pony would do such a thing they could kill a pony with tricks like that ... unless ... they ... want ... to ... kill ... ponies' "Oh no, oh no why does this keep happening" Orange at this point was truly and definitely scared out of his mind for the 3rd time this night. Orange then lunged at the door handle only to discover nothing "damn it". Orange then turned slowly to begin his long search for escape looking at every possible thing that could hide something that could pop out or grab him.

Survey, who had been waiting at the entrance of the house for quite a long time was still trying to find courage to enter the house. He was trying to talk some sense into him. ''C-come on, S-Survey.. y-you can d-do this.. y-you are not a-afraid.. y-you are n-not a-aftraid..'' . After doing so after quite a while of staying hidden, he jumped out of the bushes, his wrapping looking slightly covered in dirt. He cleared his throath and slowly moved towards the entrance. As he carelfully entered the house of scares, he wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but a first impression is most of the times not what it looks like!

As he looked around, a rather nervous grin plastered on his face, he became a bit worried. The house looked quite scary, but he had yet to see more! As he peered his head around a corner, a ghost popped out of a box. Survey, the colt he is, jumped backwards and fells on his back. As he crawled back up, he quickly dashed back towards the entrace, this time to leave the haunted house. Screaming like a filly he ran out, onto a different part of the festival.

Tiara was too freaked out to think. One too many frights had left her jittery and shaking. Running out of the forest, she rushed through the door of the first house she could see. As she tried to catch her breath she looked around her. Cobwebs. Skeletons. Bats. It was all so... cheesy!

"Hah! It all looks so totally fake." she said to herself. After the more chilling frights she'd received the mundane decorations were positively a relief.

That is until a pale green ran past her, screaming like a madpony all the while. Diamond watched as he dashed out of the door, which slammed shut behind him with no warning.

"Um...Okay. Maybe he's just really jumpy. Yeah, that's it! Nothing to be afraid of here!" she laughed. Until a sound came from somewhere above her. A long, drawn out creaking sound. Diamond whimpered, before steeling herself to continue on. There was candy here somewhere and she aimed to find it.

Perhaps her witch costume would scare away the monsters.

Not that there are any that would be silly ha ha!

The air was brisk, ponies were running cheerfully about, the smell of chocolate was everywhere, and yet Nightshade still wasn't very content with the holiday. He was itching for some social interaction, but instead of trying to find it himself, he waited for it to come to him, which was a useless strategy, as it usually just led to more ignorance. He approached the house, floating things and strange flora surrounded the abode and the entrance seemed to have the same thing that every other attraction had; a spooky way in. Well, this isn't exactly what I expected. I thought this place was supposed to be scary. Well, come to think of it, nothing's really been all that scary over the past few days. Discord's appearance was rather strange, but not fearful."

Nightshade took a step in and was immediately smacked across the head by a rogue pie attached to a small, thick spring; seemingly triggered by a pressure plate armed in the front door. Hmm... Ow? At least the pie was tasty. Now then... To find something to wash this off with..." And with the small prank, Nightshade exited the building calmly, despite the cream-topped pastry dangling from his face.

Nightmare Moon

Trotting through Pinkie's terrifying, yet hilarious house of horrors, you look left an right wondering what might come next in this kooky place. Slowing your pace, you stare at the decorations in awe. Pinkie Pie had really outdone herself this year, everything looked so realistic! Then you come upon a statue of Nightmare Moon that looked unbelievably real! Not falling for this trick again, you promptly turn around to leave the way you came!

Without looking you turn and smack right into another pony, much taller than you, with a flowing blue mane made of the night sky. Feeling the all-too-familiar chill run down your spine, you peer upward to stare directly into the eyes of Nightmare Moon! She grins keenly, with more than a hint of mischief in her eyes- perhaps it was hunger! Her mouth opens and shattering her dark laughter echoes off the walls around you. You bound away, in hopes that you will lose her amongst the twists and turns of the house! You reach the exit, happy to have escaped, but your bag of treats feels a treat lighter than it did before...
