Roleplay Type: Mane Rp

Name: Medical Medley, Commonly just called Medic

Sex: Male

Age: Young Stallion

Species: Pegasus

Eye Color:Deep blue

Coat Color: White

Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style:Slicked back and is jet black with a dyed Red Stripe through it, his tail has a bit of red blended into it as well, and his tail is cut short to prevent the problems on the ship.

Physique: Tall and lanky, but not very muscular, has a very good strong back, and strong forelegs.

Cutie Mark: A pair of blue bandages making a Cross

Origin/Residence: Was originally from a far away land with a strange dialect. but his parents when he was a young colt moved to Stalliongrad for better work, though he has left his homeland the accent has remained part of his speech.

Occupation: He is the Head Medic of GangPlank's Crew, doing his hob well, and since he is a Pegasus often dives after the crew mates that are.. more grounded that might accidently fall off of their ship.

Motivation: Medic is motivated by a few things, one of them is to heal injuries and to be great at what he does, and another is to always be loyal to those he has deemed worthy of said loyalty and trust, he may not be fully cut out for the pirating business but he truly believes in what he is doing, and being a Pegasus being in the sky makes him feel free and alive.

Likes: The Sky, Freedom, Healing injuries, making coffee, reading,

Dislikes: Birds, Feathers, Feathers on birds, Needles for some reason, Bad Coffee, Mud, Dirt, and he doesn’t really care for Pears.

Character Summary: Medical has always been from a wealthy family, when they lived in the Far away land of strange dialect, they were both in the medical field but not making what they personally felt comfortably, so they left their homeland and settled in the town of StallionGrade. From a young age Medical had always shown fascination with medicine and cures, loving how you could just give someone a pill, or soup, or even just rub something on their skin and they would be feeling like themselves again.

Once he was left home with his mother while his father Stitches headed to Ponyville to meet up with a friend of his from his days at Medical school; While his father was gone Medic’s Mother came down with a terrible fever and felt very weak , having to lay down while Medic scrambled to try and diagnose the ailment was, it turned out to be Pony Pox she had never had it as a filly so it was a touch more dangerous now! But Medical remembered how she took care of him when he was a little colt and had the same ailment. After getting her to lay down he rubbed a soothing lotion all over the scratching irritating pox that popped up, fed her warm soup, and tended to her every need.

However it went from bad to worse since she WAS older and it COULD be fatal at a older age, Medical knew he couldn’t deal with this alone so after making sure his mother was comfortable he flew all the way to Ponyville and got his Dad , When they got Home His father quickly took things over, helping her make it through .

At the end of the rather stressful ordeal he looked down and saw his cutie mark had appeared, it was two bandages making a cross, due to his hard work, and having the common sense to know he couldn’t do this alone, it being blue due to his love of flying and the fact that he had flown so far to get his Dad

After that incident Medical worked extra hard in his studies and was soon climbing up in the world, he was a very successful Doctor for his town for several years but it just wasn’t making him feel the joy anymore, his parents passed away when he was a young Stallion and well the town felt.. Bleak and empty, the things he loved seemed less vivid.

He then one day met a Stallion by the name of GangPlank, whom staggered into his shop looking for a good medic for his crew, it was a risky change and well Piracy was choosing to forever be wanted… but something in his heart told him that on a ship in the sky was where he belonged, taking a chance he agreed to be the Stallion Captains Medic, sold all his earthly possessions and packed his gear up joining the crew which he is on to this very day.

To be Honest He doesn’t know why the Captain insists he is a “Medic” Instead of a Doctor, but when the Captain says it’s a potato you agree with him.

A little known fact about Medic is that he is actually allergic to Feathers, and he thinks he was cursed because he is a PEGASUS of all things and well he HAS feathers… Though to prevent it from being a Problem he takes medicine for it, at it’s worst it is Itchy eyes, and runny nose and perpetual sneezing.

Since he can’t have winged pets, and cats and dogs give him the willies for a pet he has a lovely Jewel Beetle by the name of Aristotle, it sits on the rim of his glasses often just looking like a pretty bit of decoration.
