Draco just looked at the Alicorn as he concealed  himself again
"Still gives you no right to talk to a little filly like that..." he said quietly as he  turned towards the filly.  "Are you alright?" he asked trying to put on a comforting smile although he was just as shaken by the Alicorns words "can i ask your name little Miss?"  he asked. realizing he did not know her name.

Cloud Sweep let go of the dragon pony's leg and shook her head. Too many times had she been asked her name only so somepony could keep tabs on her.

"You first."

Draco  thought this as fair for her to ask.
"Draco is my name."

"Thats weird. I've never met a pony named Draco before. I'm Cloud Sweep 'Monster Slayer Fighter Killer Expert'!"

She drew her wooden sword with a flourish, and proceeded to do a few swings and stabs showing just how awesome her novice, untrained swordsmanship was. She made like she was fighting an invisible foe, as she often did, and buzzed into the air here and there as she slashed at the invisible opponent. She remembered the alicorn was still there after a few seconds of showing off and quickly jumped behind Draco again.

"Nice to meet you miss Cloud Sweep." Draco said just before   she rushed behind him again. he looked back at the now concealed Alicorn "I think we should go for at the very least the sake of your sanity." he said with a smile

Cloud Sweep nodded her head vigorously. She didnt like that alicorn and she didnt like being around him.

"Mhm"

She kept her eyes fixed on the dark royal.

[Thrylos]

Dark Bolt glared at them both. "You don't know who I am! Nobody ever did! They just didn't understand!" His voice was a deep royal, which was weird when you were looking at a small pegasus and his voice comes out like that. "Even you go away, you'll never really be away. No matter who I meet, they're always scarred emotionally. You guys were lucky enough not to learn who I really am!!!"

Cloud Sweep was in tears now. She had been yelled at plenty of time but the confusion of the situation was too much for her young mind to cope with. Scary royalty turning into other ponies and still using their own voices and yelling at her when she never even did anything wrong! nShe closed her eyes and she started to cry more out of frustration and anger than fear or sadness. Her emotions welled up inside her until she burst, and screamed in her unbearably high pitched voice

"LEAVE! ME! ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!!!!!!

She out the alleyway sobbing uncontrollably, she inwardly scolded herself for crying. Warriors didnt cry, little baby foals cry. It did nothing to calm her down though, so many scary things she didnt even understand had just happened and she couldnt take it. She only managed to turn the corner of the alleyway before tripping. She curled up and leaned against the building hoping the scary monster would just leave her alone.

Draco just looked with a solemn face.
"i understand, you are a deeply hurt pony i can relate to that but i also have a mission and i believe this filly could help me and its not helping to scare her like that.  just because your scarred does not give you the right to scar those around you." with that Draco turned to go after the frightened filly. he found her curled up in the alley. he kneeled down next to her. "Hey.. its ok everything will be alright."

Cloud Sweep stopped crying but her breath was still haggard, making it difficult to talk. so she nodded at first and tried to shake off her bad feelings.

"Y-You h-h-have a m-mission? *sniffle* for w-what?"

She managed to stand up but looked down at her hooves ashamed of how uncourageous she had been. She kicked a little dirt in embarrassment and still not looking up began to speak.

"You want me to help you?"

Draco nodded.
"But its not important. what is, is that i know your a orp- err that you do not ha-." Draco tried not to make her cry. "well you know. but you must have a place to live right?"

she looked down again, not really wanting to answer that question either.

"Um...sort of...well sometimes, but they kicked me out for practicing my sword fighting."

she perked up a bit in frustration.


"I just dont get it! None of the others accept my duel challenges so that means they forfeit right? So I just went at them. like this."

She demonstrated some more of her overly dramatic combat technique.

"But they always wuss out and get me in trouble...so they kicked me out and said I was too much trouble...usually they let me back in after a few days but I dont really like tit there anyway. Why do you care anyway?"

"no home huh? well i guess that makes 2 of us." Draco thought about it. it was risky to ask his next question "would you like to come with me?"

Sweep was immediately apprehensive. No one had ever asked to take her in before...it made her suspicious but she held onto a glimmer of hope.

"you mean like...adopt me?"

She looked up at him with a sad hopeful expression, she had alomst forgotten about the alicorn for the moment..

Draco was unsure
"well if you want that's up to you but i think by helping you i will succeed in my quest."

Cloud Sweep was confused again. How was whether or not he adopted her, her own decision? That was never how she'd seen it work in the orphanage. Either they picked or they didnt simple as that.

"I dont get it. How do I choose for you to adopt me? Isnt it the other way around? And how does being my daddy help you?"

She sat on her flank trying to make sense of things staring intently at the ground between her hooves.

"i would probably not be the best father but if you want i could help you find  one." Draco said with his head down

Cloud Sweep stood up and walked over next to him, finally understanding a little. She stood close and nuzzled his mane in thanks.

"I like you.  If you want to help me find pa-...those...then ok."

((hmm...I guess for now the alicorn is out of this, but I'll probably have someone else come in...I really need to make a young character after making old Murky.))
