"So long, sonny!" Granny Smith shouted as Klondike walked away with his apples. "Nice feller. Maybe if'n things don't work out between AppleJack and that other feller, maybe she could git hitched to him!"

"Now now, mein sister, no matching for our AppleJack," Apple Strudel kindly scoulded. "She most choose dat very special somepony for herself, vhen dee time is right."

"Reckon yur right on that, Strudel. Say! How about we team up to git Big Mac a lady, like that thar fancy dress makin' unicorn from Ponyville, what's her name agin'?"

"Ah Gut Morgen fraulien Rarity!" the bearded stallion neighed as he spotted her in line, realizing that the unicorn mare probably heard every word his older sister had said. "Tis vonberba day, ja?"

Instantly, spotting the elegant unicorn caused Granny Smith to look very embarrassed. Meanwhile, Pigpen moved up in line as more ponies got their apples and kisses. The shaggy, unkempt stallion wisely said goodbye to his new skunk friend. The happy skunk bounded towards Thorne and was happy to be petted by the donkey in line.

"So long, little guy!" Pigpen shouted, waving a hoof high in the air. That simple action unleashed a new wave of body odor that quickly filled the air all around the line of waiting ponies.

The salacious and salubrious Cherry Jubilee sighed to herself as she waited in line. Was it that she simply had an appearance of an unapproachable pony, or was it that these Ponyville types were simply not ones to talk to relative strangers. Either way, she was feeling rather left out of the events that were occuring around her. Considering their past, she was a little surprised that Applejack had not paid her more attention, however, she understood that she was very busy with the promotion, and unlikely to enguage her until she was at the front of the line.

She glanced to the small filly that Applejack had addressed as Applebloom, and smiled faintly. Little sister or Daughter, she was not exactly certain, but she was jealous of Applejack all the same. She had never had one so close to care for, even her parents had seemed rather aloof and distant when she was younger. "Why, Ah say there! Applebloom! Applebloooooom!" she called out, waving a delicately hooficured appendage to the youngster, with a smile upon her face. "Would y'all like t'learn some secrets about Applejack?" she said with a giggle. Wether sibling or offspring, she knew the filly would likely be unable to resist the promise.

Of course, she was not one to create any drama, far from it. But she suspected that certain amusing facts about the Apple-loving pony would no doubt raise the spirits of the fiery maned filly, and it would definitely entertain her while she waited for her opportunity to purchase her bushels. That was, of course, if the filly was prepared to come over and listen.

Metal Maker watched A Pony called Cherry Jubiles's call out to Applebloom. He wasn't sure he liked her spreading secrets about applejack behind or in front of her back. Then again, He was protective of the Pony from the stories he had heard. You're getting over protective again, he thought. Have to watch that. Applejack is big enough to handle herself, as was amply proved by the stories her had heard.

He was also sorry not to be able to talk to Rarity, another of the Mane 6 who controlled the elements of whatever. She dd have a dress shop however and a lady in fashion could always use new footwear, so He did have a chance to meet her after all. In fact, he wished he had brought one of his signs advertising horseshoes custom made

To pass the time, he decided to ask Thorn what he had been doing. Say Thorn, what have you been up to since we last met?

Applejack listened to Rarity's enthusiasm. It actually scared her a little. Why was Rarity acting so wound up? "Rarity. You sound more excited than a little filly in a candy store! What's got you going today?" Was Rarity really this excited about a kiss with a best friend? Applejack would have thought that Rarity would be repulsed to ever allow lips from a muddy old apple farm to even graze her facial pelt. Of course, maybe Rarity was just looking forward to sinking her teeth in some fresh apples. Yeah that was it. Apples. Applejack also considered the possibility that Rarity was just turned on by all of the promotional consideration going on around the area. Perhaps a sweet deal like the one on the apple farm today represented what a mature pony would call 'generous'.

Pathfinder giggled. Her friend Earth Writer wasn't one to lack in some sort of advice, even if it was unwarranted. She wouldn't have been a decent adventurer if she let nagging injuries remain nagging and not deal with the as soon as possible, and she was far more than a decent adventurer. She considered herself a great adventurer and everypony who was anypony worth knowing knew that adventurers that were great took care of injuries immediately and improved from that moment on. And she was always improving from that very last moment on- a very tiring process!

"I don't have any wing injuries right now. I was hit by an arrow not long ago though! It hurt, but that's the price you pay for crawling around ancient ruins and having fun, I guess. And while you might have some risk of starving, at least there are shelters and stuff. If I have no food and water in the middle of the desert, I just start hallucinating about unicorns trying to eat my liver. It can be fun under the right scenario but is usually just REALLY ANNOYING!"

AppleBloomATTEMPT3final.png

Apple Bloom had spent her time in silence next to her big sister, hoof-writing her letter to Princess Celestia. Or trying to. She would never claim to be the best writer in all of Equestria and her quillmanship left much to be desired. When you combined this was the fact that the swirling mas of ponies, apples, and bits that were mostly there because of a random thought that had wormed its way into her skull and the letter was rapidly becoming a frustrating chore. She didn't want to think of a letter to the Princess as a chore since her sister was tasked with writing one every so often and if it was good enough for Applejack, it was certainly good enough for Apple Bloom. A distraction would be nice and just as this thought crossed her mind, a distraction offered itself to her.

Cherry Jubilee had a way with her words that made them entirely too enticing, which easily hooked Apple Bloom. After all, she needed the distraction and the opportunity to learn her sister's secrets was one opportunity she had no intention of passing up. Her head and face shot up from their position and the filly scrambled over the stand before trotting over to Cherry.

"What secrets does she have? She have a special somepony? Like oranges more than apples?" She asked, giggling due to the sheer impossibility of that scenario. Applejack liking anything more than apples would be heresy.

Granny Smith's comments did not go unnoticed by Rarity. She blushed a little. Her with Big Macintosh? Well, he was a rather handsome stallion, but she really didn't think he was quite her type. He was too quiet and easy going; she tended to find bigger, bolder personalities more alluring. Still, to be talked about in such a fashion was still kind of embarrassing, and Granny Smith seemed embarrassed as well. Rarity figured it was best to say nothing on it; not that there was much to say.

"Ah, good morning, Apple Strudel! And you as well, Granny Smith!" she said in response to the two elder Apples, smiling at them.

Nodding, Rarity turned her attention back to Applejack. AJ looked desperately confused and a little unnerved by her presence as she asked about why the fashionable mare was so excited. Good. That was just the reaction Rarity had hoped for. Of all her friends Applejack was always the one who seemed to have everything the most together. Even when she ran into trouble, it was usually from her stubbornness or pride, not any sort of insecurity. There was then some amusement in seeing her somewhat discomforted like this, especially when it was a result of her own promotion. Applejack clearly hadn't expected any of her close friends to cue up here today, and Rarity sought to take advantage of that fact.

"Come now, darling, why would a pony not be excited in this situation? This is 'Ponyville's prettiest, nicest, strongest, and bestest mare' after all? No pony could resist," Rarity said, teasingly, laughing again at the line on Apple Bloom's flier.

The unicorn laughed some more before giving a nod and pulling from her bag the bits to pay for her apples. "I must say I'm quite eager to experience the full kissing prowess of such an exceptional mare!"

The pony laughed and stepped forward, ready for whatever the other mare would do. "Show me your best now, darling."

"Thank ya, ma'am," Granny Smith said as she accepted Rarity's bits for payment. "Fetch the apples, little brother!"

"Javol!" Apple Strudel shouted as he brought out a bushel of apples for the elegant unicorn. "Dere you are, fraulein! Dee finest apples in all Equestria!"

Seeing now that he was second next in line, Pigpen started to rummage around in his thick furry coat for his coin purse. As he searched, more items fell out of it such as a phonograph player, several red bricks, a half eaten sandwich, several newspapers and three pieces of moldy cheese.

"So THAT'S where I put my cheese!" Pigpen shouted as he began to nibble on it. After finishing his cheese, the smelly stallion finally found his coin purse.

"Now I'll be ready to pay for my apples! HOORAY!" he shouted, throwing his front hooves up in the air causing even MORE of his SMELL to fill all the air around him.

"WHAT IN TARNATION? THAR'S THAT AWFUL SMELL AGIN!" Granny shouted, trying to hold her nose shut.

"ACK! UNEEMAL!" added Apple Strudel as he put on a gas mask.

Applejack was totally taken off guard by Rarity. At this point there was nothing she could do but continue the sale. With her. Rarity. Best friend. Mare. Applejack leaned over to Rarity and started to pucker. Applejack's pucker, however, was very miscued, as she had become very nervous for reasons that could probably be read on Applejack's forehead. Her unstable lips curled and waved as she attempt to brush her bests friend's. As Applejack fell into a kiss with Rarity, Applejack's lack of control over her mouth caused her to drool and she lifted back as soon as she could. In it's event, a string of saliva stretched from Rarity's mouth to hers before it snapped away from the increase in tension.

"Oh Celestia, Ah'm sorry!" Applejack was embarrassed. She knew Rarity wouldn't resent her forever, but to ruin this moment for her, she wasn't sure what she would do. Applejack had already kissed over a dozen ponies, had several apple skins lodged in her teeth, probably, along with the faint smell of apple juice in her exhales, not to mention any regular form of dirt that might be on her face. She did brush her teeth this morning, but she didn't think that would have been good enough for Rarity. Applejack grabbed a towel on the counter and began using it to wipe Rarity's face clean of the apple pony's spit. Unfortunately, the towel she used was already dirty with dust and grime the counters had when they set up this morning. And if it couldn't get any worse as far as the environment, an overwhelming stench came from behind where Rarity was standing. Applejack pulled out spare clothes pins that happened to be lying around and passed them out to Granny, Apple Strudel, Rarity, Starburst, Survey and herself. She also saw Apple Bloom talking with her friend from Dodge Junction and passed two to them as well. Applejack attempted to apologize to Rarity, in her new nasally voice. "Um Surree Ruritee."

Rarity smiled at the Apple pony's clear apprehension. She was happy to see that Applejack seemed prepared to go through with it though. That had been one of her biggest curiosities in regards to the whole ordeal. Would Applejack actually kiss her? Evidently she would, but how good of a kiss would it be? Rarity was most curious to find out. She half expected Applejack to chicken out and give a tepid peck on the cheek of forehead or somewhere else of no event, but the mare stayed true to course and went for the lips.

As kisses went, at first at least, it wasn't bad from Rarity's experience. It didn't have a lot of energy or focus, but it was passable and had a faint but not unpleasant taste of apple to it. Quickly then, it got all around a little too wet. Rarity was taken aback. Was Applejack about to make this serious? She wasn't sure if she was prepared for that. She like AJ fine, but she certainly didn't have that sort of thing in mind for this. She pulled back slightly and opened her eyes wider to find that no, Applejack had just lost her focus entirely, and some excess saliva was the unintended result, some of which found its way to the outside of Rarity's mouth.

Applejack quickly apologized and then grabbed a cloth with which to "clean" Rarity's face. The cloth was however very far from clean itself. This caused Rarity to take several steps backward. Kissing was one thing; Rarity was sensible to know never to expect the mouth of another pony to be perfectly clean, but to have such a dirty cloth rubbed directly into her face, was quite hard to overlook. She'd have much rather just had the saliva.

Making matters far, far worse, as she backed up from contact with the cloth, she moved right toward the source of the all too unpleasant odor. Ugh. This was not what she needed to be smelling after feeling dirtied by that cloth. She grimaced and felt suddenly kind of ill, trotting quickly back up toward AJ and away from the smell.

"I... well..." Rarity had no clue what to say, and for a second even forgot how to speak entirely. She then shook her head and forced a smile. "It's quite fine, darling. You did alright... for the most part... I guess..." she said, her voice becoming gradually quieter. "But I do believe I'll be taking my apples now and making haste back to the boutique," she said, trying to keep a polite tone.

"I do wish I could stay and observe more of this wonderful promotion in action, but... er," she glanced noticeably toward the offensively odored stallion and then back toward AJ. "I really don't envy you here..." she said in her quietest whisper, feeling sorry for her friend who would soon have to kiss such an unpleasant pony.

"Bye now, darlings!" she said as she started to gallop readily away from the foul aroma. She waved to AJ and the rest of the Apple family as well as the ponies in line. "Thanks for the kiss, dear!" she ended, teasingly before continuing on back toward Ponyville, a long, cleansing bath on her mind.

Cherry let out a hearty laugh as the little filly came bounding over to her, asking what the secrets were all about. The mare smiled to herself, ruffling the filly's mane with a hoof. "Hmmm.. well now, ah dun care ta mention special someponies, but she shure made quite the impression on mah workforce. Yer Applejack is quite the pretty pony," she said, remembering how her first day working in Dodge, she turned almost every stallion's head to her. She let out a loud giggle. "An ah remember, when she first turned up at mah orchard, she tried ta buck onea mah trees, kicked it clear o' the ground, an near twenty yards forwards," she said, remembering the apologetic way Applejack had gotten after doing so.

The mare gasped at the terrible scent surrounding them, and pulled out a small but servicable hoofkerchief, holding it to her nose to block out some of the awful smell. "An as fer likin' orange, ah wouldn't know, but she did tell me that one time, at a rodeo, she was tryin' all these otha fruits, an she said that th' mango she tried tasted better than a lota apples she'd tried," she said, attempting to fan more of the scent away with one hoof, while still staying upright. She was enjoying herself immensely now, the little filly seemed to be hanging on her every word.

"Shucks, she even had ta sleep wid a nightlight down at th' orchard, ta keep away spooks or some such," she said, before blinking, and coughing slightly. She had felt herself go into gossip mode, and felt she had probably stepped up to the line with that last piece of information. She cleared her throat, and leaned down to the filly. "But despite all that, Applejack's onea the best workers ah've ever met, she's humble, an she loves her family. She ain't no silly pony," she said with a wide smile on her face.

"Now, enough about all this! Ah'd like ta know y'all, Applebloom! Applejack didn't tell me too much about ya, ain't that a shame. Y'all're just about the cutest filly ah ever laid mah eyes on," she said with a motherly giggle.

A gray stallion with a white mane an tail straightened his collar as he looked himself in the mirror, smiling as he realized it would be a bit much for a small town like Ponyville. He considered himself lucky that sure a place had an inn when he got there so late, not that it would have mattered as he enjoyed sleeping under Luna's night sky.

A couple of days ago he had decided he needed a break from the tiring social atmosphere of Canterlot and decide a trip to the country side would do him good and give him the chance to relax a bit. With a soft laugh he remembered back to when he spoke to an acquaintance of his on the suject and he suggested Ponyville, word was it was a place with some very important ponies.

One such pony was a Miss Rarity, whose dress designs were all the rage in Canterlot. Mythos had wanted to meet this mare, having heard the stir she had caused in Canterlot, yet was unable to do so before she left for Ponyville. Another pony that he heard lived here was the winner of the Best Young Flyer Competition, though strangely he couldn't remember her name. He had even found out that heroes of Equestria lived there, yet the talk on such a subject was conflicting at the best of times.

Taking one last look at his pack he took out a bit pouch, deciding to go out and get something to eat, though he wasn't sure what he would buy. Walking from his room he gave word to the one at the counter he would return before heading out. Like he had been told it was a small town, yet there still seem to be many ponies out and about. Mythos smiles as he looked around not prepared for what seemed to be a flier hit his face, with great suprise he looked at the flier reading over it.

Buy a bushel of apples of get yourself a free kiss by Ponyville's prettiest, nicest, strongest, and bestest mare, Applejack!

Go to the Sweet Apple Acres

"How interesting," Mythos says finding the name Sweet Apple Acres familiar but not remembering why. He decide this was as good of a start as any to getting to know ponies here and getting a free kiss from what would seem to be such a great mare was a pleasent plus. Moving his well combed white mane out from his eyes his smile grew as he walked to the farm, it not taking long for him to get there with a bit of helps from ponies nearby.

Much to his suprise his violet eyes found there was quite a line and he considered it was because this Miss Applejack was quite popular here in Ponyville. Realizing he would need to wait he got behind a light cream colored mare with a pink/blue mane and tail, starting to consider the ponies near him and to what looked to be the front of the line as he listened to the talk around him.

After the exchange with Rarity, Applejack was feeling a little awkward about how a best friend like her acted about the whole situation. However, Applejack knew not to be real embarrassed about it. It was just a slight strange occurrence between two ponies that have made quite a respect for one another, especially a respect that was hard earned. But regardless, it ended with two friends kissing each other with a lack of grace. It was the thought that counted, Applejack suggested to herself.

Applejack, with nose pinched by a clothes pin, saw the next pony. It was a white pegasus with purple hair. "Wait. Din't yu awedy git uh kiss?" Applejack looked the pony up and down, trying to recognize her exactly. "I culd've swaurn ah sauld yu apples awedy, but ah don't auctuallee remepber taulking to yu. Whaut's yur name?"

Cherry's words were received so well because she had an audience pre-loaded with acceptance. A little sister was always seeking to level the playing field with her big sister in the game of life. There was little she could come up with that couldn't be immediately returned ten-fold, with the exception of secrets. A good secret was worth more than ten noggies or an equivalent number of, "I'm your big sister and you hafta listen to me, consarnit!". So it was with great excitement she received the secrets.

Sadly, Cherry's gossip was decidedly tame and in most ways either known or a secret that wasn't too surprising knowing her sister. They were the Apple family and few things existed outside of their vast communal knowledge, the Apple hive mind of experience sucking into it any real secret. The nighlight was something they all knew of, her fear of the night less being something stolen from her childhood and rather more along the lines of farm-ponies learning as they grew older that older that the landscape at night was prone to creatures of misfortune. Applejack was also quote the looker; Apple Bloom didn't need to pry to know that ponies in town were coming for apples on the lips as much, if not more so, than the ones in bushels.

Her strength was also well-known, as were her mannerisms which would have(and likely had in her younger days) broken apple trees far and wide. She went full-buck when she bucked apples off of a tree, meaning that despite being weaker than her older brother she was exerting far more power on the tree. She had taught Abby that an important part of bucking was learning how to have such finesse controls over your muscles that despite using such force, you didn't use that force on the tree itself. It seemed smarter to mimic Big Mac, but Applejack was Applejack. It made sense she'd snap a new tree like that.

This all would have amounted to some friendly if somewhat let down giggles being shared had it not been for the Mango drop. Cherry may as well have slammed Apple Bloom over the head with a rock, the effect on her mind was just about the same. That seemed so...untrue! Applejack may as well have slept with apples and apple trees, the way she spoke to and about them sometimes was as if she was their ma. The thought of her being all over some other fruit was as unconscionable to Apple Bloom as her older sister suddenly deciding to change her name to Mangojack and leaving her family. These things were also seemingly impossible yet seemed entirely more possible every moment the filly was given to think it over, what with her sister having twice left the farm and- well, Cherry wouldn't lie unless she was trying to cause trouble-

"'Ey, yer not tryin' ta cause any trouble, are ya? 'Cause her likin' a main-goh more than she likes apples doesn't seem right!" Apple Bloom's voice was flayed with accusatory tones and worried cracks. Before Cherry could answer, Apple Bloom's worry got the best of her and she trotted to the stand, throwing her front legs over the front of the stand and pulling herself up to meet Applejack snout-to-snout.

"Applejack, Cherreh' Jubilyah or Jubilee or whathaveya said ya like mangos more than apples! That's not true is it? Are ya goin' ta change yer name or move to a mango orchard? Are we still sisters?" Apple Bloom asked, completely confused and a little worried.

Pathfinder's last little outburst actually caught Earth Writer up a little in the conversation, leaving him a little stunned. It was finally beginning to sink in just how different Pathfinder's life must be from anything he'd ever experienced. Ancient tombs, cannibalistic hallucinations... wow.

"Probably a good thing I write non-fiction. I couldn't make up anything like that." The unicorn shook his head in admiration. "You ever given thought to publishing your biography? I would certainly read it."

Having someone like her to talk with, Earth Writer was understandably unconcerned with happenings closer to the front of the line. It was only when they grew too intrusive to ignore that he took notice, and when a new wave of stench seemed to wash over the company from Pigpen, it was with much choking and coughing that the writer's attention was brought back to the outside world.

"Sorry." He gasped out, clapping a hoof over his nose. "Usually we're more accommodating in terms of smell."

Thorn petted the skunk a little more confidently for several minutes as he watched the goings-on in the line.

"Unless you can convince others to pet you, little one, you might be better off sitting under that tree and I'll give you an apple, okay?"

As he watched the skunk scamper off, he turned to Metal Maker "Oh, not much, I am on my way to Canterlot to visit my parents. There was an unscheduled layover for a few hours here in Ponyville, and I found these flyers all over the place..."

He winked "I suddenly decided my parents could do with a bushel or two of the famous Sweet Apple Acres apples. And how often does a donkey get a chance to kiss a pretty mare, much less a famous heroine?"

Suddenly a new wave of smell hit him, and he turned a bit green. "Oh dear Celestia..."

Starburst claps the clothespin over her nose, looking a tad bit disheartened that the Apple mare didn't remember the kiss they shared. Talking through a clasped nasally voice she spoke politely to Applejack. Even with her nose disabled by clothespin and stench the smell wafted into her mouth, nearly making her gag. However, even with a clothespin she managed to speak a fair degree more elequantly than most other ponies.

"You don't remember me? How could you forget a kiss as fabulous as mine? As I recall, you were quite dumbfounded by the audacity of it. I even have two saddlebags full of apples to show for it. See?"

She points an accusatory hoof at her saddlebags, full to the brim with Apples. When she returns to face Applejack her lips have curled into a cute pout, no doubtedly practiced in front of a mirror for many hours to achieve the perfect lip formation, with just the slightest amount of a quiver behind them.

"I even gave you tickets to my gala.." she said.

Applejack listened to Starburst's comments as she tried to jog her memory. Applejack's eyes shifted left and right a few times as she tried hard to figure out how in the world she could forget a kiss. Had she really gotten to a place of going through the motions, after being scared to kiss all the ponies for their apples today? Starburst finally jogged her memory when she mentioned the dumbfounded-ness that Applejack might have had. "Oh! You! Yeah, now I remember. Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I was just so flustered over Flam kissing me. Didn't you see what he did ta me? My mind was in several different places at that time, and one of those places wasn't here. So, I'm sorry. If ya want, I can give you another bushel of apples on the house, my treat!"

Applejack responded pretty clueless to Star's mentioning of a gala. "Gala? What ticket? What gala?"

"FLAM? WHERE! Where's that sidewindin' bushwackin' no good skunk of a pony at?" shouted Granny Smith who overheard part of AJ's conversation with Starburst. "If'n that swindlin' unicorn or his brother EVER show thar faces here agin', I'll kick BOTH TO THE MOON!!!!"

"Nein nein, mein sister!" Apple Strudel shouted, still wearing his gas mask while trying to calm the now furious elderly mare down. "Day vere only talking about vhat happened here before. I am sure dose two losers are novhere near Sveet Apple Acres."

"Well, they better not be! We'll sick Winona on'm! She'll chase'm away! She better not bite'm though, that poor doggie might catch rabies off'm!"

As Granny Smith joked, Pigpen heard and began laughing.

"That was an excellent pun, Miss Smith!" the shaggy unkempt stallion shouted as he reared on his hind legs to clap with his hoofs. He was now so close to Granny that she got the 'full force' of his smell. This overwhelmed her senses so much that the lime green mare sighed before passing out.

"GRANNY SMITH!" Apple Strudel shouted. "She's fainted! Is dere a doctor or nurse in dis line?"

Starburst's face blanched, even if it was already white. Had she not given Applejack the tickets? Did she forget to mention the gala at all? How could she be so stupid, stupid, stupid! She was about ready to pull her hair out when she noticed a dirt- trodden envelope on the ground, complete with hoofprints.

She gingerly picked up the envelope and handed it to Applejack.

"Erm.. This was for you. There are train tickets and gala tickets inside." she said, visibly calming down.

"Hope to see you soon?" she says, beaming at the Apple mare.

Double M was glad the line was moving, though he was a bit surprised about what happened to AJ and Rarity. Well, two heterosexual mares could be a bit awkward and a deal was a deal. He felt sorry for Applejack as she was obviously nervous and upset about something he couldn't see clearly but involved a dirty towel and words between both of them. Then it was a pony he heard called Starburst's turn. AJ also had Apple bloom or blossom or whatever the younger pony's; name was aksing about mangos in an loud voice. Where had that come from? He glanced at Cherry Jubilee and saw that she had told the little filly a bit too much about her older sister/cousin. He started to get protective again, but stifled it. The whole kissing booth was in good fun as well as a way to stock up on apples. He relaxed and decided he like the people and the town quite a bit.

Then he smelled Pigpen again and almost fainted like Granny Smith.

Applejack could see the fierceness for Starburst's voice. She was frustrated about something, although Applejack sure really didn't know why. She had hoped that it wasn't something she had done. But then Starburst picked up a dirty envelope that had apparently made it'a recent home in the ground near the kissing booth. Starburst represented the trip and ticket to Applejack as she informed her of the event. Applejack nervous replied, "Oh, tanks Sugarcube, but uh, ah don't normaully co to those kines of hivalu'in events. Ah only co when mah frends are invaulved an' if ah ket to mauke lauts of sayles, lauke at the Gran' Gaullopin' Galau. Although, even that galau didn' give me enough saules the firs' time to waunt to co bauck. Pleaze don' be maud at me, it's just, uh, naut mah sorta thaung." Applejack smiled nervously as she tried to prevent any lashing between the ponies. She wasn't trying to rile anypony up. But what was she gonna do? Lie? Applejack chuckled to herself at the thought.

Limit two characters for each player receiving kisses until further notice.

"You want some apples? We can get you a bushel of apples right away. That'll be five bits. And I can give you a kiss, on the lips, if that's what you'd like."

"Yes, that is what I would like." said Lyra, a smile appearing on her face. Applejack's friendly attitude and confident demeanor put her at ease and the unicorn in disguise felt her worries about being discovered simply melting away.

She placed her 5 bits on the table and then she leaned forward for her kiss. She placed her lips on Applejack's, gently at first, but after a second she dared to put her hoof an the farmer pony's neck and pull her a little closer, their lips pressed tightly together. It was as good as she'd hoped. Not the kind of passionate kisses she and Bon Bon shared, but still something new, and thrilling. A guilty pleasure. She didn't care or even notice that the earth pony's hat had knocked off her own during the kiss.

She drew back, her face now bright red, a goofy grin spreading across it. "Haaah, thank you very much..." she spoke, her fake accent forgotten. "That was one heck of a kiss! I'm actually feeling dizzy! And those sparkly lights... is someone using fireworks? Wait.... why am I on the floor?"

Lyra looked up from the ground, not remembering having fallen over. She must have passed out from the kiss. Or maybe it was the heat. Her head was throbbing, and her mouth was dry. Yes, probably the heat then. Her sunglasses and hat had fallen off, and her coat was now open, displaying her lyre cutie mark. So much for secrecy.

"Um... can I have *huff* a glass of water *puff* with my apples *huff* please?" she said, inbetween breaths.

Bon Bon glowered angrily at her fillyfriend, lying askew, hat fallen under the trot of crowding ponies, and sunglasses skewed aside and cracked under her own forceful hoof slam, "Lyra!"

She could tell the pony was too exasperated to register her voice, and in reply to her plea for water, dumped a bucket of water she had already prepared when she saw Lyra faint, over her head. As the teal unicorn came to, Bon Bon frowned in annoyance, "I saw that...are my kisses not enough for you?!"

Bonnie stomped her hoof again in annoyance, "Well, fine then! I'll get my own kiss from Applejack! And...." Tears welled in her eyes as she spoke, "Well, Maybe I don't need your kisses anymore!!"

She reared on her rear legs and ran off into the crowd of ten or so ponies that were in line ahead of her, making sure that she was nearest taller ponies, so as not to be found as she sniffled and cried, confused on why Lyra would desire a kiss from another mare.

Starburst looked down. "I see. I was going to make the desserts there from the apples I purchased today.. but if you don't want to come far be it from me to decide for you." she said, forcing a smile as a commotion broke out behind her in the line. "I had so much planned as well.. I might as well cancel it if I cant get anyone to come.. "

Mythos saw the exchange between the cream colored mare with a pink and blue mane with the cyan mare she called Lyra on the ground. He saw her dump water on the mare’s head and heard the words , "I saw that...are my kisses not enough for you?!" He watched as she stomped her hoof in clear upset and annoyance as she continued, "Well, fine then! I'll get my own kiss from Applejack! And...." A frown appeared on his face as he saw tears in the mare’s eyes as she finished with, "Well, Maybe I don't need your kisses anymore!!" before running into the heart of the line.

With a sigh Mythos walked over to where the mare went, working his way between the ponies with words of, “excuse me, may I pass by, thank you.”

Granny Smith still lay on the ground unconscious. Uncle Apple Strudel continued to call out for help, apparently in vain. She had fainted behind the apple stand out of view of every other pony, even AppleJack was too busy to notice her grandmother had passed out. In the distance, a tall blue unicorn mare with purple mane came galloping towards the apple stand.

sml_gallery_475_9_55339.jpg

It was Starflower, the famous nurse pony who happened to be traveling on the main road when she heard Apple Strudel's call for help. Seeing the long line of ponies in her way, she would not be deterred. Still at full gallop, her horn began to glow as she vanished, only to reappear beside the stunned gray bearded stallion,

"Vhat is dee oppency heir dokter?" Uncle Apple Strudel asked.

"I'm no doctor, sir, my name is Nurse Starflower and I came to help out," she spoke as she floated her black bag up to eye level and opened it before floating out a small bottle of smelling salts. Quickly, the stethoscope wearing mare waved the opened bottle under Granny's nose until she woke up.

"Whoa, what happened? What the hay's goin' on?"

"Mein sister!" the gray maned stallion shouted as he helped her to her feet. "You are amazing, fraulein! How did you know.."

"Years of experience, my good sir. Classic case of fainting. Does she have a history of ..." Starflower stopped speaking when the foul odor of Pigpen reached her nostrils. "Mystery solved. As a nurse sworn to uphold standards of public health, I cannot allow this to continue!"

Starflower looked around, spotting an empty bucket nearby. Floating it up to the well spout, the purple maned mare used her magic to pump water to fill it. Reaching in her black bag for a large cake of soap, she suddenly pounced on Pigpen. Now engulfed in a cloud of dust, everypony couldn't see how Starflower was giving the yelping, screaming Pigpen a standing bath. When the smoke cleared and the water flowed away from the line, the shaggy stallion now looked like a completely different horse.

"HAY!" he shouted out. "What did you DO to me?"

"I gave you a bath! Your body odor was truly a health hazzard," the nurse unicorn explained. "I believe my work here is done."

"Work? WORK!!! How could you DO this to me?"

"You're welcome," Starflower said as she turned towards the elderly siblings. "Your sister should be just fine now, take a few moments to rest, ma'am. Bye!"

Pigpen just stared at his clean, neatly styled coat as Starflower galloped away, her black bag floating beside her.

(exit Starflower)

Had to take this action since no one even acknowledged poor Granny had fainted let alone offered to help. Don't worry, Starflower was NOT in line and was NOT going to receive a kiss from AJ. This was just a cameo appearance for her in this RP
