The Experience of Not Having a Roommate

So my roommate's gone for the weekend! :D She left for our school band tour since yesterday.

So lately I have been thinking I should not have a roommate for next year. I guess that's not a good idea. So I'm sitting here typing out my blog entry eating my banana because I missed breakfast that ended a minute ago. And since yesterday I felt pretty darn lonely! D:

And yesterday I forgot dinner so I had to run to the cafeteria and hope it was still open. It was almost closing so I was pretty lucky that I got food in the end.

So I dunno how I'm going to survive this weekend.

I know those feels, Frosty. We aren't do different, you and I. We both eat at a cafeteria of sorts, and have a roommate that's gone for a while. Difference is only our occupation. lol.

True, true.

Thank you for knowing what it feels like. Lol.

At least I get to be more responsible about waking up myself and knowing my schedules. :P

The frustrations of having a roommate are usually well worth the benefits.

Unfortunately, many of the locals that would make good roommates are married or uninterested.

The pipe dream is that one of my Texas friends would move up to Alaska and I could give them a place to crash while they got set up.

My older sister did not have very good experiences with roommates.

The first one never talked to her and was up until 4 or 5 with some of her other friends, so she switched to get another roommate.

A year later, her roommate's mum went down there at the same time my mother and grandmother visited for my sister's birthday and all five of them wound up in a fight that the police had to break up. Her roommate and her mother did not cooperate with police and only shut up after they threatened them with detainment.

So she has her own apartment now. It's not so bad for her. Better than what she got.

Just do what you think is best. She finds it perfectly okay to not have a roommate. I'll be stuck with one or more for half of college since my occupancy license for housing lasts for two years.
