EqGirls and Bronies! *Spoilers* too!
Two days ago, I finally got to watch EqGirls! ^^
Funnily enough, in the same theater it was showing at it was also playing the Bronies documentary so we were able to watch it also. My mum, sister, and I had a great time that day. As for me, seeing little girls in brony cosplay wigs and Bronies made me happy. I swear I wanted to hug someone there since I have a few brony friends outside of the internet.
EqGirls:
I saw Derpy! YES DERPY NO LIE! *ahem* Okay. I wonder if she was in other places, but where I saw her was when they were singing in the cafe. If you get to watch it again, make sure you look at the bottom right. There is one shot where the girls are on top of tables. Derpy is just walking down an aisle with a tray of food with a big smile on her face to go with her cute derpy eyes.
As for Lyra? .... I didn't pay attention to her since I was so focused on Derpy. Let me know if she is in the movie!
Luna and Celestia, two sisters as principals, amuses me.
Evil gargoyles? THAT was new to me as to hearing there were human versions of our favorite ponies. No hate, but surprising and kind of cool.
I want a Canterlot High Wondercolts (no Wonderbolts.... But I guess since the school colours are the same as the Wonderbolts, maybe it is a Wonderbolts reference. ) ears and tail. Those are cool.
*ASSUMPTION* Since there are the grades of highschool (Freshies, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors) as noted from the yearbook scene, are the CMC freshmen? The Mane Six aren't freshmen anymore according to the yearbook scene.
VINYL HAS PURPLE EYES! This settles the red eyes rumor/headcannon.
In the movie they were able to keep the message of friendship. I was able to relate to some issues in the movie to what happened to me and my best friend or even my class! Well not too much, but with one of the groups that complains that everyone else in the class or the "populars" (the majority of the class pretty much) "hates" them or something because for what ever reason. -_-
Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony
As for the Bronies Doc. I really liked it! Following the lives of a few bronies was quite interesting. I felt proud just watching it. I didn't know TheLivingTombstone lived in Israel. Poor him possibly being the only Brony in the country. I didn't know there was a brony site for charity. I was able to look up the site and see if I can do anything about it. I REALLY want to go to a convention, but Everfree is during my summer camp and we aren't able to go to BronyCon since we are heading to the East but not at the right time. At least my mum would like to go to a con next year with the family.
I'm proud to be a brony/pegasister. After watching Bronies, I was really happy. I found what made me happy other than being with my best friend. I forgot to do what made me happy, drawing and drawing colourful singing ponies! So right after I got home, I started drawing Spin Art (will uploading sometime) and started getting into the community more- if there were more pony vids (or maybe I haven't searched enough).
I really wish I had more brony friends outside of the internet. Last summer I was able to make two. Am I able to make increase my brony circle? I'll have to find out later this summer when my church organization camp meeting comes around.
Well, here are my thoughts you guys. Catch you all later!
