For those of you using a dedicated client rather than the on-site one, the method for registering a nick on this and any other nickserv-enabled server is simply "/msg Nickserv REGISTER <password> <email-address>"

If you notice somebody else using your name, or if you're waiting for another machine to log off, you can also use "/msg nickserv GHOST <your nickname> <your password>" and it will disconnect whatever machine is using your nickname from the network.
