I also find animations about Lyra's human obsession to be pretty annoying (even though some are pretty impressive)

Yeah on all of those. And I'm a little tired of serial killer Pinky Pie...She's a good kid.

I definitely agree with those, although the big problem comes from how some of these are interconnected. Derpy alone isn't a problem if she is portrayed correctly, but often times she is combined with #4 on the list and thus there is too much focus on her disability. Luna's angst is often combined with her rebellion which makes things bad too, and although I don't mind a Luna regretful of her past I do mind the angst. (Seriously, that's what most of the superhero movies of the early 2000s were, angsty heroes). 

I'd also add any grimdark animation/ fiction that takes the characters completely out of context and makes them do things they would never do just for shock value. It doesn't work in movies with shock horror and it doesn't work for fan fiction. 

We need to make a Quicklime film...Where she's hated and ostracized by her family and neighbors, because she's quick, and they're all slow...And she wishes to be slow! Oh woe! And even begs Luna to 'fix' her, but Luna is too busy being cranky. So she goes to Derpy, but they discover that Nightmare Moon is back and she's going to overthrow her sister, and then there's angst...
