What program did you use? A great way to make the smooth wallpapers is you use the pen tool in Photoshop and fill as individual shapes. That was it is as vector as Photoshop can make it.

I use GIMP, which can do most of the stuff Photoshop does, but not as good. But, I like it personally and am uploading a new one that is an avatar.
