Princess Cadence super heart power GO!

They way I see it, we have a princess who is physically weak, and weakened to the point of deterioration when we actually see her. I bet she tried to escape by loving and tolerating Chrysalis her first day in the caves, and decided she needed some ridiculous Sailor-Moon-esque power display.

Done in Adobe Ideas (which I really wish would get a gradient tool) on my ipad, and then exported with a Cyan filter in Aviary (Flickr) to make it look more like a faded old movie poster from the late 70's or early 80s, which is what I was going for. Last Unicorn with thicker lines while still keeping to the style of the show.

The original file, unfiltered and slightly less blue is one huge vector file, so I am hoping maybe one day to have a poster actually made.

So when she does her magical girl transformation, her accessories disappear? :P Seriously though, this is good. (I like to think that all the gems were interfering with unicorn magic, that's why they couldn't just teleport out.)

EXACTLY.

Also, the program can handle only so many shapes before it basically just slows to a halt. I wanted to leave her cutie mark off too, and drop the colors of her coat and mane waaaaayyy down because its looks more 80s fantasy that way, but I figured that she needed to be recognizable first.

Also...

UNICORN KRYPTONITE!!!!!!!!!!! Just think of how hilarious a plot point that could be!
