The CMC? Really? I've only seen the one with Vinyl Scratch. Are you sure the DJ P0N-3 one isn't the original?

Actually, the originally had DJ-PON3, and has been redone by several people with different characters. The CMC one is a more popular one.

Also, this totally doesn't look like a copy, in my opinion. The record player is different (art-wise), the image isn't as large, and the character looks original... Maybe a reference to the one you're talking about Kalpira?

Certainly, the style is the same; character spinning on a vinyl record, but I wouldn't consider it a true copy if all the artwork is original.

(Oh yes, and here's the Vinyl Scratch one for comparison.

You could at the least give the original artist credit and link to the original piece in the description.

There are some similarities I can see as well, but the record player is fairly standard and easy to animate upon.

The CMCs vs. Angie, I can see shared expressions, but the CMC are moving too fast for my eyes to pick out whether Angie was a recolor, or hand-drawn pixels. It's definitely different frames than the Vinyl one that 'Tales linked to, though.

Similar, derivative, copy, whatever, it's still good work. I'm not going to split hairs about it ^^

It's sort of like a meme just like the mane/tail heart ponies.

But if you want to give credit where credit is due it should be to this guy http://dreatos.deviantart.com/ and not the one who made the CMC because as he states in his author comments Dreatos was the one who started the adorable spinning filly fad.

If you are going to mention all you have to do is just say what others have said in their artist comments no biggie really.

White just disappeared into the background of the site, so I had to tint her blue. There was already a blue theme (hair and eyes), so it worked. This is only a first attempt, so odds are I'll make it better in the future.
