Patches -standing-

The-Jaded-Bug

"We interrupt this program to bring you...Patches the Cowardly Dragon Show, starring Patches, the cowardly dragon! Abandoned as a baby, he was found by Joy Spinner, who lives in the middle of nowhere at a toyshop, in Saddleveil Plains! But hay barrels break loose whilst out and about. It's up to Patches to save the day!"

</inside-joke>

If you don't know what the above is spoofing, then I apologize on the behalf of what your childhood had missed out upon. Either way, 'tis the second character that I've apped/accepted on Canterlot from so long ago. This picture, however, is pretty recent. Also: Patches, the dragon in question, tends to be easily scared, hence part of the origins of said inside joke. :3

Also, like I had said on my thread, I go by the idea that, as far as dragons go, they tend to grow much faster if they let their hoarding instincts overwhelm themselves within a short period of time (abnormal growth). However, without letting their greed consume every aspect of who they are, they can still grow to be particularly big, but it takes much longer for them to do so (normal growth). After all, if all large dragons were that size due to greed alone, then the two dragons seen on the show would have been been acting a leeeeeetle more like Spike was in Secrets of My Excess. Sure they were jerks, particularly the one in Owl's well, but they weren't completely unintelligible.

Oh! If Patches were a pony that lived as many years as he has so far, then he'd (roughly) be that of an elderly stallion. But as far as dragons go? He's a 'teen', but pinning a number on him that would indicate his maturity level would be pretty hard, to be honest.

@Dessa: Yoosh. 'Tis quite the awkwardly adorable dragon rite thar~

@Allura: I'd gofor the third option, though I'm not sure about fit. He might be stronger than a pony, but most dragons his age/size would more than likely beat him in a fighting match xP
