Lol, that thumbnail tho. Wish there was a way to crop the thumbnail picture to not be dead center. Full view is best view!
In any case though, here's a second take on a humanized Mei, because I felt like drawing something perky and curvy and decided to just use Mei as a model again. I've always had trouble drawing humans, particularly because of anatomy (I have a tendency to make everything rather buff), so this time, I just grit my teeth and tried to exaggerated female anatomy, with tiny waists and emphasized hips. To my immense surprise, it came out pretty good! (although since she's wearing a high-rise outfit, it kinda loses the shape a little bit, but in return makes her legs look really long).
Don't ask me about the pose. As I was sketching I think I was trying to do some sort of superhero thing, where the superhero is flying and twists around in midair so that her upper body's facing one way and her lower body's facing the other...but then it didn't quite work out, so it just kinda looks like Mei's falling over.
Gracefully, though - falling gracefully like an empress~
