CaptainMcDerp

I would have finished this one a couple days ago but stuff and things got in the way. Anywho, I had a blast drawing Limi. Non-ponies of the cervine variety are always fun to draw/design to me. And I got some much needed practice on clothing. I added a little blur effect to the edges this time. At first it was a freak accident but then I was like, "hey, that looks neat." :P

Lookit that cheeky little grin~! <3

Absolutely love the shading on this one McDerp - the transition of fur to snout is spot on, and the fur along the neck is gorgeous. It's like, I can literally see the lines of highlights you used all along the fur, but it gives off such a finished and polished look. And those antlers, of my! The look downright scary, like claws reaching outwards to grab at something...

-is totally imagining SlenderBou right now-

Looks awesome, dude! I love how this piece looks, but the only thing I can see is that the cloak and the body looks almost like they are two different art styles... The body, and the face in particular, looks very sharp while the cloak looks blurry in a way. Maybe I'm just being picky, but that kinda just stood out to me.

In any case, you did a great job with this one! Can't wait for Flora to get her portrait!

Good catch! I think it's because I used less highlights on the cloak compared to the body. I'll try sharpening the details on clothing next time and see how that turns out. Thanks for the critique! :D
