Formerly the forest near Froggy Bottom Bog.Occupation: N/A(When she's older:) Caretaker of the wood, defending travelers from the few Griffins that stray from Beakbreak City.Motivation: To find her twin sister Snow and bring her back to the wood.Likes: Rain, quiet, helping plants grow, lying on soft grass, runningDislikes: Big scary creatures, weapons, poisonous plantsCharacter Summary: It was funny, Misty and Snow being born in Summer with such wintery coats. But there they were, two beautiful fawns, nearly identical. Misty was always the fast one. Snow was the smaller, but stronger, of the two.One day, Misty and her sister Snow were out playing in the wood. Their parents didn't worry too much, as they'd have to fend for themselves sooner or later. Besides, they knew their way around the wood, where to hide and how to not get lost. And the wood wasn't that large, so running back home was always an option as well.But when the Griffins suddenly attacked, the two were caught off guard. They had never seen one in the wood before, much less a band of them. Misty ran home as fast as she could. But when she got there, she realized her sister Snow hadn't followed. But by the time she and her parents arrived back at the scene, Snow and the Griffins were long gone.Misty has gone off in search of Snow, though she is still young herself. Along her journey, she takes the time to learn about plants and creatures of the world, and practices her magic. It will be her duty to take care of the wood someday, with or without Snow.Misty and Snow's parents are willing to let them go whenever they're ready. Their wish for their children is to have them take on the duty of protectors of the wood. However, in the meantime, they are allowed to explore and go wherever they please, so that they may learn and grow. With the disappearance of Snow, Misty has left the wood earlier than any of them would have liked. But it's what she must do.Misty finds herself first in Canterlot, a very little Peryton is a very big city. She doesn't know exactly where Snow might be, but she knows that she herself cannot travel into Griffin lands alone. She must find someone who has heard news of Snow, or, much to her displeasure, find someone who can take her to the Griffin lands personally. It's a journey Misty is reluctant to make, but it might be her only hope.Misty longs for the day when she and Snow can be united again€€Âif Snow is still alive. She blames herself for what happened because she didn't stay around to help her sister. She often wonders if she's searching in vain for a sister she no longer has€€Âbut she has to keep on hoping, until she's absolutely sure, one way or the other. Did anything significant happen during her travels so far to find Snow? Did the parents agree to let their other daughter leave for a trip that might end up in disappointment? Perhaps some elaboration on her worldview is in order. For example, how does she react to civilization? How does she feel about its interaction with the natural world? Does she associate the griffon slavers with civilized society? Or does she view them as savages bent on the destruction of all worlds? How does she view the other races in Equestria? Is she friendly towards all creatures or is she wary of any that is not of her kind?Also, you mentioned that she plans to travel to the griffon lands in search of her sister. Does she plan on recruiting pony adventurers to assist her? Or is this an entirely Peryton matter?Finally, is she impulsive? Skittish? Bolts at the first sign of danger? Or is she more adept at thinking on her feet? These personality traits and views of the world around her will determine how she interacts with other characters. It's a bit overwhelming.She doesn't hate Griffins, but they do kind of scare her. Since she doesn't know the actual fate of her sister Snow, she can't say one way or the other whether they're mean or not.Also, you mentioned that she plans to travel to the griffon lands in search of her sister. Sure, it's probably the best place to look for Snow, but it's also probably very dangerous, especially for one as young as she is.Finally, is she impulsive? Skittish?
