So I've been playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance last weekend and wow. I'm like 5 hours into it and I absolutely hate it. Basically you play as Marche a new kid at this school and he joins some outcasts at the school who get bullied and lifes are utter miserable. They open a book that changes reality to Ivalice. A fantasy world. Where the other kids are basically much happier there. Ritz no longer has to dye her hair to shield herself from the taunting of her friends. Marche's brother Doned, crippled and wracked with illness in the real world, has regained the ability to walk. And sensitive Emo Teen Mewt is now the prince of all Ivalice, a far cry from his Butt Monkey existence in the real world. And what does Marche? The main protagonist of the game want to do? SEND THEM BACK TO THE ****ING REAL WORLD and bring reality back to how it was before. He goes as far as to RECRIPPLE HIS OWN BROTHER to do this. You basically ruin the all your friends lifes, crippled your own brother, and destroy Ivalice because maybe, JUST MAYBE!!!(He doesn't know for sure) it will get back to ****ty reality. There is also a severe lack of plot advancement and the judges in the battles are dumb. They basically say you can't do "so and so" and if you do what they forbid. They lock your ability to revive party members. And if Marche dies. Instant game over.
