  1. Hiya! I'm up for somethin' if you're willing! I got my new character Alizarin Fruits who actually travels a lot to sell her fruits, or make fruit deliveries on hoof whenever she get's the call to do so. I think a journey based RP would be a great place to start! She's a little grump, but I think the idea of a journey type plot fits the deal.
  2. "Well, good thing I don't really have a sweet tooth! Otherwise I'd probably be throwing up right now from the thought of eating nasty little red bugs. Blagh!" The bandaged mare responded, her nose scrunched up from disgust. She heard something about creatures finding new or better ways to create such bright colors for things like candy, but she never really looked into it. Not her type of stuff to be searching up. The kitty went on about touring around Equestria, and Daze's eyes brightened up as her wings stretched out in excitement. "I'd really love to go see 'ya! I got a few partners I could bring." Daze's smirk was plastered on her face as they continued the conversation, bringing many different scenarios to her head. Imagining sitting up there in the stands, popcorn and cotton candy in her hooves, the bright array of colors shooting around the very talented group of circus performers... it was really dazzling to think about, speaking from wanting to go since she was a little filly. "Just let me know when that's happenin', and I'll be there for sure." Fast forward at the hotel room, Thrilly told Daze she could stay there if she wanted. "Wait, really, Thrill? You're being serious?" She couldn't possibly be serious. The idea of staying at this hotel for a couple days made her smile. She was gonna have to stay here for a week anyway, for the next meet. She could imagine telling all her competitors that she was staying in this hotel. Their faces would make Daze crack up. It was an honor to be there. The cat then went on about her brother not being there, and that she didn't wanna sleep alone. "Hey, I'll definitely take up on your offer then. After the amazing to-ur I'm gonna show 'ya, I'll grab my stuff." The Pegasus nodded her head at her words. "If you don't mind me asking, I'm kinda curious, what happened to your bro?" She then thought for a second. "You totally don't have to tell me." Once they were in the amazingly gorgeous room, and after Daze shot around, she took off her jacket and let her mane down from her ponytail. Her mane was messy, and covered over her eye just slightly, but it fit her style. "I don't really have anything fancy, so I'll probably walk around like this." The mare fluttered into the air again, breathing in the fancy hotel air. Suddenly she noticed Thrilly starting to be more frantic, making Daze fly quickly over to her. "Silver thing with a bell.. got it." The mare searched the ground very slowly, trying to find something shiny. The floor was way too clean thought to miss something like that. Suddenly Daze heard a clink from behind her, making her whip around and spot a black cloak the shape of a very large pony standing there with something silver. It took a moment to realize what was happening, questions floating around her head. Her heart was pounding now, this was kinda scary. How did this pony get in here? "Yo, Thr-ill?" she slowly said as her raspy voice cracked. She needed to get the cat's attention. The shifty pony took in their place, and sprinted across the room and out the door in a second. "Hey! Get back here!"
  3. Haha, I’m kinda busy at the moment 😅
  4. I mean, true. That could be a possibility haha.
  5. Maybe, they're just already on the train haha. And they're gonna be off it soon, in the middle of no where..
  6. Yes, it could be. She doesn't know a lot about the stuff Forged does, and I'm not too sure what she could use from him. 🤔
  7. Basically, I have yet to roleplay with my new character Alizarin. I really wanna try her character out, because I honestly am in love with her character haha^^ For summary, she's a hardworking, grumpy, all about the country farm-horse, who sells red fruits for a living on a very small farm. I am open to pretty much any plot idea if anyone has one, as long as it's interesting and fun to write! If I had any preferences, something that get's Ali out of her comfort zone, like a little push into something she doesn't like. Like getting stuck with a stranger and doing something she doesn't do on a daily basis. Could be a huge adventure that is necessary to accomplish, or just getting stuck doing somepony else's dirty work when they need help. Ali likes 'same old same old' kinda' stuff. She hates new ideas. So please let me know if you're interested!
  8. "Yuck, bugs? I've never heard anypony eat bugs," Daze responded, thinking about what a crunchy one would taste like. "But a Chimera, huh? I've heard a little 'bout those creatures. They're kinda cool, actually. I'm guessing they can't taste the food the other one is eating, but what if the food they eat hurts their stomach? Would one have to change their diet?" Daze was overthinking this whole Chimera thing. The knew literally nothing about them, but they made her more curious. "I definitely wanna meet them someday." Daze found herself standing in a very fancy hotel, stuck in an elevator and waiting to make it to the hotel room. The walls were decorated in that Cantorlot flare, something Daze really enjoyed looking at. Not that she was a quote on quote 'fancy' pony by any means whatsoever, she just liked the design of them. They were pretty to stare at. Which made sense, because really famous ponies stay here. The golden Pegasus wasn't popular enough to be used to this kind of decoration. She was barely in Cantorlot at all since she moved to the outskirts of Ponyville and Cloudsdale. She knew her way around the city though fairly well. The Pegasus's ears twitched when she heard Thrilly speak again. "Well, aren't you a lucky duck. I'd die to get stuck here. But nah, I got stuck at that hotel across the street." She motioned her head across the street, even though they were in an elevator. "I can't really afford somethin' too fancy, but it get's the job done." After Daze said that, the elevator's doors opened and left the tall pony standing there in awe. "Celestia.." The pair moved out of the elevator, causing Daze to flutter into the air and stare at everything around them. The walls stood there, perfectly crisp and clean from anything remotely dirty. The shine from the light of the chandeliers above highlighted off the glowing walls, creating a gorgeous beam of light to follow all throughout the hallway. Daze could safely say she's never been able to see her reflection from the ground before, as it seemed to just be freshly swept and wiped clean. Beautiful marbled statues were places perfectly down the hallway, creating a nice feeling of fanciness and charm. Pictures were hung high on the walls, making sure the atmosphere itself seemed nice and comfortable. Daze looked at the cat, "Thrill, this place is so gorgeous. I can't keep my eyes off this stuff!" The kitty stopped, making Daze stop in the air as well. The cat turned the key and opened the door, creating a gust of wind to hit the duo in a dramatic, cliché fashion. Once the bright light from the room died down, Daze flew slowly inside, taking in everything brought to her. Then, she saw something dark and quick move in the corner of her eye...
  9. Daze was happy the kitty accepted her request. Her little smirk formed on the pony's face as she let out a small chuckle. "Hey, if I'm alright, you're pretty cool yourself." She was excited to hangout with a different creature other than a pony. More diversity of friends could make Daze more open to different possibilities. The more the merrier. Ponies were supposed to be open to more friendships, right? Daze was never one to shoot down anypony, or creature, who was different. Daze was too curious to let down anything new, to an extent. Nothing that freaked her out though. As Thrilly made her cute little happy noises, Daze found that more ponies were forming in her line. Her line was longer than first place's now, making Daze kind of satisfied. At first she didn't think she deserved all this praise, but now she was just getting attention. Attention was good. More fans, more publicity. No harm, no foul. So, Daze started hamming down on some autographs, fulfilling the needs of ponies who wished to get the golden mare's signature. Daze began to feel a little bad though, hoping Thrilly didn't feel left behind. Truthfully, Daze couldn't stop thinking about hanging out with her. As less and less ponies became more satisfied with their autographs, the line finally began to shorten at a quicker pace. The day was still young though, thankfully. Enough time to hangout with her new friend. Were they friends? Sure, why wouldn't they be? They knew each other by name, and were about to hangout like good 'ol pals. The Pegasus leaned her eyes towards the cat, who was making her way towards her direction. The cat said something about getting some grub, which made Daze's stomach growl. Right on que. "Fish? That's an odd serving," the mare responded, signing a few more autographs until there was none left. "I've never actually heard of a pony eating fish. Is that a normal Cantorlot thing?" The mare thought for a minute, thinking about this weird food. Do ponies eat fish? What other creature eats fish? "We'll definitely go though. I want 'ya to have the best experience here. I'm sure they'll have some salad for me or something." Thrilly added the part about her hotel, making Daze's eyes open wide. "Wo-ah, holy Celestia. How'd you book a room there?" Her voice cracked as she spoke, her gruff voice in shock. "You must be somethin' special, Thrill. I haven't met any creature worthy of holdin' a room there. That place is fan-cy!"
  10. "Yeah, yeah. I just want to make sure I'm good to go," Daze said to Fiver, rolling her eyes. "Flying a lot is better than not flying at all. I'm good at what I do." There was security in her voice, backed up with confidence and a hint of sass. Daze knew what she needed and didn't need, though she could be stubborn at times. Or all the time. "Cloudsdale is a pretty special place. I wasn't born up in the clouds, but I grew up at that flight school up there. I never really walked on 'em unless I had to. I was always floatin' up in the sky." The Pegasus nodded at her words, turning around to look up at the clouds. Daze always had this thought in her head, like she wasn't made to be down to earth. It seemed her head was always up in the clouds, so to speak. The mare was always on about something, could be small or large. Her mind was generally on something else, even in a serious conversation. Sometimes she just needed time to think by herself. Some time went by when every pony was talking, to a point where they were in the middle of a snow storm. Fields and fields of snow were stretched miles upon miles across the ground. Daze couldn't spot a single tree, just hills of snow. She knew it had to be freezing outside, if so much snow was sticking to the ground. More snow was coming down hard. The snowflakes seemed as big as her snout, leaching onto whatever surface they touched first. Daze got a little chill down her back, just thinking about being outside and freezing to death. There definitely couldn't be any life living out there. No food could be seen from where the golden Pegasus was at. All that could explain the bumpy tracks. Probably because these tracks barely got rolled over. That's when Daze got flung into the air and caught herself. "Haha, very funny. I'll have you know, I don't like surprise leaps into the air without my control," she said to the earth pony, crossing her forearms as she floated in the air. She then looked at the griffon. "There's a lot of competitors goin' there. I'm not too special. Probably not gonna place too well anyway." The clinking sound was getting worse by the minute, growing Daze's curiosity. "I'm glad I'm not the only one hearing that. It's kinda buggin' me." She flew to a window, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. It was definitely outside. "I'm totally up for some investigation, but I'm scared to go outside." Her head pointed towards the window on the outside, as the noise was coming from ahead. "Maybe a latch is messed up or something. I seriously don't know much about trains." The mare scratched the back of her head, shrugging.
  11. "Celestia, you're way more creative than me. Those names sound so awesome," she mare said as they walked to the stands. "I like the greed for speed one." Now, Daze was always a pony up for some speed. The wind in her mane, the acceleration of her heart as she flew on forward, her wings whipping past the sky like scissors on paper. She was addicted. She'd fly forever if she could, if it was logical. Ever since she was a little 'ol foal, she would fly and fly and fly and.. her dad would get tired of keeping up with her. He knew when pegasi got their first taste of the air, Daze would never stop flying. But Daze's was more extreme. Even when the little thing was tired, she still buzz her wings to keep afloat. She never stopped 'till she hit 5 years old. That's just when her father hit practicing like a flying baseball. Everything was a training session, right after kindergarten. There was little to no breaks. Thrilly started talking about names, raising Daze's attention up by a million. What a strange idea. "I never thought of it like that. I don't really know the absolute true idea why my parents named me Daze, but y'know, whatever floats their boat." The golden Pegasus thought for a second. "Obviously the golden part comes from my eyes, maybe the 'Daze' part is from my speed that leaves ponies confused?" She shook her head. "I don't know." Thrilly added the circus stuff, and Daze smiled. "Dang, yeah. That would be absolutely terrifying. Heck no to that." Anyways, after the autograph, Thrilly said her good-byes. Did she really have to leave so soon? She kinda liked this cat. Daze didn't know how to get her to stay though. Lunch? Icecream? Could cats even have icecream? Weren't like lactose intolerant.. or something? That's what Daze has heard at least. "Hey!" the mare started to say, looking around to think of ideas. "These signings shouldn't take long, I could totally take you on a tour or something." She emphasized the 'totally' to get her point across with her raspy voice. "We could grab some grub too, like a sandwich or whatever." The mare signed some autographs in the process of talking, realizing not a lot of ponies were in her line, but in the first place's line. Figures. No pony notices the second place, they notice the pony who wins. Daze wasn't jealous, not at all. Daze doesn't get jealous.. totally not. The mare shook her head and rolled her eyes, then looked back at Thrilly. "Thrill, I have some bits if you don't have any for lunch, unless you wanna head to your hotel real quick and get some," she suggested, shrugging. "You totally don't have to though."

  13. ~Basics~ Roleplay Type: WoE Name: Alizarin FruitsNicknames: Ali, Miss. Fruits Sex: Female (her/she)Age: Younger MareSpecies: Earth PonySexual Orientation: She isn't sure. (Definitely bisexual) ~Physical Attributes~ Eye Color: Green that gradients into teal. Character Color: Dark brown with cream markings on her hooves and face. Mane/Tail: Her mane and tail are a deep red, always up with buns using a green ribbon. Physique: Ali is very short, like a runt. Though, she is fit from working in the fields. Extra: She always has her green ribbon on her chest, and maybe has a saddle bag on her back. Cutie Mark: Description: Red grapes, an apple, and a strawberry, indicating her talent for growing red fruits, and the sweet touch of her family's trust. Story: One faithful day, Ali's father asked her to sell some fruits outside of Ponyville by herself, to see if her selling skills were actually good without him to help. Of course Ali accepted, wanting to make sure her dad trusted her with this easy work, and ended up goin' to Cantorlot to sell her high class fruits. Most of the ponies stuck their noses up at such 'normal' foods being sold their, and Ali was kind of saddened by no pony wanting to eat her delicious red fruit. Finally, a nice stallion trotted on by and asked if they were good. Ali nodded her head aggressively with a large smile on her face, handing him a freshly grown strawberry to taste for free. He took a big bite, and soon his face melted in the sweet taste of the fruit. Other ponies saw this, and all huddled over to the little filly, greeting them all and selling every single fruit on her cart. On her way home, she was excited to tell her pop the great news. When she got there, her smile was huge as she told him everything. Her father was so proud of her, little Ali got the biggest hug of her life. Then a flash appeared on her flank, a trio of red fruits. These represented her talent of selling and growing fruit, but also her sweet and trustful relationship with her family. ~Outside Information~ Family: Dad (Earth Pony): Vermilion Fruits, Mom (Earth Pony): Violet Fruits Occupation: Red Fruit Farmer/Traveler Residence: A very small farm off of Ponyville. ~Characteristics~ Character Personality: Rude, brash, straight forward, and grumpy, Alizarin isn't a pony to mess with. She generally doesn't like the idea of friendship, or any relationships in general. It's just her, her dad, and her fruits. Ali is very dedicated to her work, selling the most top notch red fruits on the market. She's a very hard worker, and it's rare to see her out of her job. Ali has a lack of trust, with anything really. She only depends on herself to take care of situations, even if she does need help. She's rather stubborn and close minded. But, the one pony she loves dearly is her dad, and she'd do anything for him. She never shows her softer side, which can be very present if creatures got her to trust them. That's just very rare. Ali is dark, mood wise. She's all around a little grump. It's rare to see her smile, but it can happen if she's emotionally driven enough. She hides her emotions, and trusts her mind way too much to make decisions. Ali is still very outgoing, to her work only, and travels a lot of places to sell her delicious and home grown fruits. She's very passionate in what she creates. Though she is a grump, she truly misses having friends. Unique Traits: First of all, being a farm girl, Ali has a very thick country accent that she got from her father. Ali is very strong, physically, even for her small stature. She can carry a big cart full of fruit for hours on end. She is very quick to answer bad situations, and follows her mind more than anything else. Most of her decisions are made by using facts. It's easy for her to get out of a situation. History: Being born bright and early on a spring morning, a very small earth pony was born in the hooves of her mother and father. The bouncing baby girl was a happy little thing, always wanting attention and smiling whenever she got the chance. Growing up she was always like that, wanting to help her family grow their fruits on their very small farm. The little filly wanted to make it known that her family grew the 'best gosh-darn fruits y'all ever tasted!' She was a daddy's girl, and followed him around everywhere. Her mother, on the other hoof, was very distant with her family. After Ali was born, her pop-pop noticed his wife become very quiet and alone. Soon they would start bickering over dumb things, like who was going to scrap the weeds off the plants, and finally Vermilion's wife snapped at him. They fought hard now, and lil' 'ol Ali was left in the hallway of their barn, terrified of all the commotion happening within her purity. The little filly had never seen such hatred before. She didn't even know half the words that were being thrown about, but they sounded mean. Ali was scared. After the fighting stopped, Ali's mama drove straight into her room and packed her things. Ali was confused, and felt herself crying, as her pop scooped her up and put her to bed. Ever since her momma left, Ali never really trusted anypony ever again. She promised herself she would never be emotionally scarred like her father was after that. She was really just scared of somepony else leaving her. To avoid being like her mamma though, she followed in her dad's hoof steps and continued living on the family business, even meeting a special mare (cough cough Golden Daze). She secretly wants somepony else besides her pop, but is a hard head to avoid emotions. After her mom left, her cousin Fruit Juice was born, and honestly, Ali was incredibly excited to have another pony in the family. Her and Juice ended up getting really close, though Ali hates to admit it. Now Ali helps run her family's little farm, being a small grump. A little growing up photo for reference: Character Summary: Alizarin is a grumpy, hard working pony that travels around to sell her family's fruits. A simple pony on the outside, an emotional mess on the inside. It's hard for her to crack a smile, but it's possible.
  14. "That actually sounds rather disgusting," she mare replied, listening to the cat as she spoke about the different smells of the circus. "I mean, I could've guess they were nasty, since there's a lot of animals, right? I could be just stereotyping," Daze shrugged, letting her imagination tell their own stories in her little Pegasus mind. Well, little to Thrilly. Daze was actually quite tall for a Pegasus, but her muscular and athletic build didn't make her look awkward. Rather leveled out. She looked pretty natural. Thrilly went on about herself, which intrigued Daze to no end. She was a very curious pony. Even when she was a little kid, she'd get in trouble for getting her nose into bad situations. Curiousness was just in her nature. "Celestia, I wish I had a cool name like that when I race," the mare paused, thinking about something funny. "The Extravagant Golden Daze! The Tall-Tale Miss. Daze!" The Pegasus was laughing now, really enjoying her made up names. If anypony could make Daze laugh, it was herself. "Okay, now I'm just totally jealous of your name, Thrill." Daze smiled warmly. "Thrill- Imma call you that now. Hope you don't mind." Now there was a little more serious topic on hoof (or paw), about their parents pushing them. "I'm sorry, Thrill. My dad would push me too, but I didn't wanna let him down. You should've seen his face when I first got my cutie mark. I'm never gonna let that one down." Daze smirked. "I definitely wouldn't be here without 'em though, wouldn't trade 'em for the world. I wouldn't have my confidence, which is like, way more than half of what a Pegasus needs. Without confidence, I wouldn't be able to get my hooves off the ground." Moving on, at the booth of ponies waiting for autographs, a big line of ponies were already forming. Daze, already sitting down with her long line, called for Thrilly to come up to the front. "Since you missed the races, I'm feeling a little generous." Daze got her ink out and a picture of the stadium. She then signed her name in the corner with her wing and passed it over to the cat. The other ponies in line kind of seemed frazzled by the cat cutting them in line, but Daze ignored them. It was up to her who got to be first anyway, not some fancy pony-folk who grew up with a big rich family. "There you go." Daze looked at the sky for a split second to see some pegasi flying around the stadium and a hotel not too far from where they were at. They were doing harmless tricks, probably seeing who has the best maneuvers. They seemed a little younger than Daze's age. Daze only knew that because of how their wings seemed a little smaller than her own, and they were flapping a little faster. It really just got her thinking about when she was young, flying with some of her old friends back in flight school. Those were the good 'ol days, when nothing seemed to matter and every day was a good day.
  15. The Pegasus kept a small distance from the cat, trying not to overwhelm her. She was probably in a lot of pain, judging her sudden winces and such as she stood up. The kitty seemed surprised at the idea of more events happening, which made Daze nod dramatically in return. "Ye-ah, there's a districts meet next week actually. Exactly a week from today, same place, same time. I'm sure you won't miss that one," she smiled at the creature. "Districts is even more important than silly regionals. Regionals is just a ticket into districts." Daze was pretty much a natural at this stuff by now. She qualified for many meets in her years, even at her really young age. She was racing with senior classes. Daze led the way into the locker rooms, the tangy smell of sweat and musk littered the halls. She was used to the smell by now, it didn't bother her much. She just felt bad for the custodians who had to disinfect the room. Poor guys. There were a few athletes at the lockers, choking down water or taking a quick shower. The heat from the showers smoked up the way to Daze's own locker, causing her to launch into the air and wave away the smoke with her wings. "Sorry about the lack of cleanliness in here, it's kinda gross." She then opened her locker and took off her uniform, then threw on her jacket and replaced her sweaty headband. The mare then turned back at Thrilly, seeing as she already made her way around with cleaning herself up. The cat introduced herself, making Daze shoot a reply, "I'm Golden Daze, but just call me Daze." She took the wrap off her hooves and rewrapped them so they were more tight. She was shocked at what Thrilly did for a living. "Really? That's kinda awesome. Never thought a wingless creature would be doin' tricks in the air. Kinda dangerous, huh?" She glanced at the cat with a sparkle in her eye. "I've always wanted to see a show as a kid. 'Was never allowed to. I always saw posters up on the walls though, or some article in the newspaper. My dad said he'd take me sometime, but his work got the better of him." The mare readjusted her jacket. "I'm an air sprinter, if you were curious enough to know. I just flew not too long ago." After the golden Pegasus was done, and made sure Thrilly was good to go, she headed out of the stinky locker room and into fresh air. At record time, an announcement was displayed: 'Autograph signings will begin in four minutes!' Daze then flew into the air, looking straight ahead at where the signings were taking place. She noticed all her fellow competitors were already there, getting ready at their tables. "C'mon, you can be my first to get an autograph," Daze stated, her generous nature boldly taking a place in her stature. The mare flew to her table, greeting her fellow athletes and then smiling at Thrilly. "C'mon now, don't be shy."
  16. Daze felt stupid. Like really stupid. Yeah, she was tired from her long race, but she couldn't have the guts to at least watch where she walked? The Pegasus was kind of humiliated, and she honestly just wanted to hit the showers and move on with her afternoon. Maybe prepare for her next meet, which was even bigger. Daze's golden eyes were glazed with embarrassment. The mare didn't really know how to deal with this situation, even though she dealt with something like this with another pony. But this wasn't a pony. The last time she ran into somepony, she broke their snout. That was back in flight school, though. Now she was much more observant and careful of where she went. Except for now, for some reason. Daze was lost in her thoughts at this moment, and she didn't know what to say. She just stared at the poor cat, who was crying over something. Finally she opened her mouth to speak, "I'm really s-orry." There was a little crack in her voice, as she watched the kitty try and stand up. "Here, let me help," she commented, flying into the air and slowly helping the cat up. Daze flew back, looking around the other creature to check for any serious damage. The cat was crying over missing the show, the show Daze performed in. What an odd circumstance to be faced with. "Hey- y'know- there's more shows and stuff later on," the Pegasus mentioned, trying to make the other feel better in this weird situation. She felt awkward now, trying to think of how to help. She then noticed a bruise on the cat's knee, making Daze flinch. "That's a good one. Uh- Here, I'll go back to the locker room really fast and grab you a wrap." Daze then paused, thinking for a second. She couldn't leave the girl alone, especially after she knocked her onto the hard ground. Daze knew she was going to wake up with some bruises too. There was an announcement overhead, stating 'Come get your autographs and a picture with your favorite racer in ten minutes!' and Daze panicked. "Oh, Celestia, why?" She looked back at the creature who was still mildly upset, "C'mon now, change of plans, just follow me. Let's head to the locker room really fast to clean you up. I have some bandages in my bag. Then you can get some autographs, okay? Will that make you feel better?" Daze was trying to be sincere in her attempt to get the cat to smile. Daze took this time to really look at the cat. She's knew creatures like her lived off of Equestria, but she doesn't generally see a lot during her meets. She seemed shorter, nonetheless, kind of fragile yet strong. If that made sense. The kitty was wearing weird clothes, nothing Daze has ever seen. She couldn't judge though. She was wearing really tight clothing that generally wasn't seen in public. The cat was really fluffy, and she looked pretty soft. Daze kind of wanted to pet her little head. She was a weirdo in ways like that. Was that appropriate anyway? Is that acceptable? The bandaged mare snapped out of her trance, trying to hurry to get to the autographs in time.
  17. 'The Annual Regionals Meet' was plastered across the arena in Cantorlot, the clouded track being set comfortably on the ground for any pony or creature to watch. Only sixteen pegasi were hoof picked to go and race in this meet, for the next meet was for districts. Only half could move on though, as districts required only eight ponies to qualify. The weather was nice and sunny outside, complimenting the spring trees whom had just bloomed outside the stadium. The warm air had caused a large crowd to form on the bleachers, since most didn't like sitting in the rain. A large crowd meant more money was coming through, just from betting alone. Of course the higher class ponies sat above all else, placing their own bets to attract the most attention. Within the stadium, were of course the sixteen racers. Golden Daze stood as one of the competitors, taking in the warm air into her lungs to relax her tense body. Her anxiety was off the roof. Though she's flown with a few of these pegasi already from her past meets, the idea of getting in the starting position, waiting for the flag to go down, made her nervous. Her dad believed she was made to do this, which kept her moving forward. All she had to do was place in the top eight and she could continue on with her season. It was only 250 laps, her main event. The event she trained the most for. It should be a piece of cake. The golden pony's uniform snuggled on her close, making her more comfortable. Though see all those creatures in the stands made her have a small mental breakdown, she was use to this. So, as the flag pony yelled, "To your marks!" Daze got herself situated in her lane, relaxing her entire body. The crowd fell silent, and all Daze could hear was her thoughts and the control of her breathing. "Set!" The mare's wings flung into the air, outstretching and ready for the first push into the air. The other 15 competitors followed suite, itching for the flag to fling down. Daze's ears twitched as she heard the slight shift of movement from the flag, causing her to launch into the air with a sudden burst of energy. Her wings were strong, and powerful, but so was everypony else's. Daze found herself in 5th place, and though she could easily settle for that placement, she wanted more. The 150th lap rolled around, and that's when Daze's wings kicked harder. Every flap counted to catching the next Pegasus up. She flew into 4th place, then 3rd, trailing behind two other ponies. Onto the 200th, she began to get tired, losing her momentum with the wind against her. She kept pushing though, slowly catching to 2nd place. 210th, 230th, 240th, ten more to go. Then, she past the 2nd place pony, putting her in that position. The race was over. The young Pegasus huffed, absolutely tired from her strong comeback. She looked up at the leaderboard, seeing her placement and time. "Not too shabby," she said out loud, looking at every pony else who just finished. She tiredly walked to the others, congratulating everypony who made it, and saying 'good job' to those who tried their best. She then went over to first place, smiling sweetly. "Nice job, kid," she said to them, then shook their wing. "See you at the next meet." The Pegasus smiled, just relieved the race was over. She always agreed to herself that before the race was the worst, during it is in the middle, and after is the best. The Pegasus didn't have to worry anymore. Her dad continuously told her to ice and stretch afterwards though, to prevent injuries. His voice was ringing in her head, the familiar sensation keeping her mind occupied. She got lost in her thoughts then, heading over to the locker room. She was sweaty and exhausted, and just wanted some water at this point. She was walking faster, at a trot, and as she closed her eyes to concentrate on her next actions. Soon, she found herself on the ground, landing hard on the concrete. All she knew was that she hit a big wall, a furry one, actually. A little taller than her. Daze was unfamiliar with the creature she just ran into, and she immediately felt bad for the collision. "Woah, hey, sorry, I didn't see 'ya there," she said with a hint of exhaustion. Hopefully the creature wasn't hurt from how hard the collision was..
  18. Of course And same. Well, Daze would absolutely love to meet someone so awesome. I have one plot in mind. Maybe Daze could be finished with a competition that Thrilly decided to role up to, because she wanted to see other performing acts. Or it could be the other way around, where Daze sees Thrilly's performance and is totally dazzled by how amazing the show was. Or, Daze can just accidently crash into her from trying to practice, even though her wings are absolutely dead. But Daze doesn't find that as an excuse. Haha.
  19. *pushes Daze close to Thrilly* I honestly find Thrilly adorable and a really good character. She's really interesting to me. I bet Daze would have a hoot with her. I feel like they would have really good, friendly chemistry. Daze could pretty much be anywhere for a meet or something. She's a really really curious pony and would be fascinated by Thrilly. I'm trying to think of a really cool setting though 🤔
  20. Daze listened at Fiver spoke, nodding her head to confirm her listening. "I'm like, non stop flying twenty-four seven, so I'm always in shape." The bandaged Pegasus smiled boldly, looking at the others as they introduced themselves and who they are. It was nice to get to know every creature, since they were going to have to stay on a train forever together. It would be odd for them to just sit there and say nothing, being strangers until the train ride was done. Daze opened her mouth to speak, "Well, it's very nice meeting you all," she started, as she shifted more comfortably to talk again. "I'm nothing special like a blacksmith or from some place like Appleloosa, I literally just grew up in Cloudsdale to become a fast flier. I'm going to be in the race in the Crystal Empire, if you didn't know that already." The Pegasus cocked her head to the side when Loose went on about a good or bad side. "Uh, so then every side is your bad side, which means your good side is your bad side, which also means you have no good side?" She shook her head, confusing herself. "Anyway," she turned to the griffon, "Just make me look good." Daze then gave her famous smirk to Zelda. Loose said something about the cold surrounding them, and how the Crystal Empire was protected from the freezing temperatures. "Yeah, I know. You just never know what can happen. Maybe we get there and the empire is just cold from all the.. crystals and stuff. Or maybe it's under attack and the princess can't hold up the force field. Or maybe the hotel I'm stayin' at is freezing and their heating system broke." Daze was really overthinking everything, like always. "But, I see your point." The mare listened as the others talked about trains, which kind of bored Daze. This wasn't the type of stuff she normally liked to listen to. It wasn't very interesting to her, because this wasn't her type of stuff to think about. Daze grew up in a small community of fliers like herself, who generally weren't all keen on how to make trains less bumpy. The other Pegasus seemed interested in it though, which made Daze listen a little more. She just found Fiver kind of cool. Talking about the bumpy-ness of the train caught Daze's attention more, because of how bumpy this train was. Every so often there would be a thump big enough to bump the gold pony up. One was so big, it made her launch up into the air. She caught herself as she almost hit the top of the cabin. "Okay, I really hope they figure out how to make train rides more smoother. 'Cause for Celestia's stake, it would be nice to not be thrown into the air." Her ears then twitched at the sound of two metal objects clinking together, but she was focused on trying to calm down from the sudden lift.
  21. The golden mare looked into the eyes of the other Pegasus as she talked, making Daze open up her mouth again to speak. "Ye-ah, I'm gonna be in it. It's a big one for me," she exclaimed, her voice cracking, "My actual uniform is in my bag, I just need to keep the 'ol bones and muscles warm. I'm trying not to die from the cold beforehoof, I can't mess this chance up." Daze sat up straighter, feeling more comfortable around this strangers. "And thanks, you look pretty athletic yourself," she added to Fiver, giving her a slight smirk. She was always one to give a compliment back. The way she grew up, she always felt the right to give somepony something in return so she didn't feel bad. "Are you racing too?" Daze looked over at the other two, as the earth pony talked. She seemed to talk a lot, but so did Daze. When she felt like talking, she always had a lot to say. Especially about nothing. The griffon asked a simple question, to which Daze tilted her head. "I mean, sure. Whatever floats your boat." She was kind of weirded out, just thinking about some creature drawing her for a reason she didn't know. But, the mare's eyes sparkled as she said, "Make sure you get my good side though, I don't want anypony missing out on this." Daze then struck a pose, trying to seem ridiculous and crack a smile of the others. She sat back down, thinking she was hilarious. It was good for her to get her mind off the race, otherwise she would freak out again. "I heard this trip is going to take a while." As she said that, the train huffed out some smoke and the train was heading through the train tracks, blasting out a toot. "Guess we're off then." Her yellow eyes looked out the window to see the world ahead of her fly past her face and behind her. The train was rickety and bumpy, but soothing at the same time. Daze focused on the sound of the wheels running over the tracks, keeping her mind steady and in control. The golden Pegasus began to play with her bandages on her arms as she looked outside, her heart racing from newly found excitement. Her ears flicked as she looked farther up at the cabins ahead of theirs's, seeing it shake ahead as the train huffed again. The mare turned back around to face the group. "Oh, my name is Golden Daze by the way," she suddenly said, smiling warmly at the others. All this talk and they hadn't introduced their names yet. So, Daze had to be the first to break the ice.
  22. Daze's hooves were jumping with nerves. Every little detail caught her attention now as she stared blankly at the floor. The floor was newly swept, kind of shiny. So, she admired the hard work it probably took to clean it. It distracted the Pegasus, so it worked in calming her down. Along with the cool airs coming from the open cabin. The gentle breeze from the wind cooled her down, clearing her fragile mind. It wasn't long until another pony.. or creature came walking through the door. Daze didn't even get the chance to think about who was going to share a cabin with her. Obviously there would be others along with her. It was a long ride to the empire. Getting to think now, the green maned mare was kind of excited now to meet new individuals. The first one she saw was a black griffon, and she definitely caught her eye. Something seemed elegant about the griffon, and Daze was really fascinated. She saw the griffon give her a smile, and Daze smiled back politely. It would be rude otherwise to not smile back. Daze was a nice pony, sometimes. A moody, stubborn, nice pony. It was kind of awkward in the cabin, Daze and the griffon in their respective places in their seats. The Pegasus looked over at the griffon again, noticing her looking at a drawing pad. Daze shrugged, minding her own business, thinking about the race again. She honestly didn't think she was ready for the big stage yet. Tons and tons of ponies and other creatures were supposed to be there. She wondered the who was other competition, because it was no easy feat getting an invitation. Daze had to work her tail off to get to the arena. Her hard work did pay off though. Soon another came into the cabin, an earth pony who just seemed to mind her own business. Daze noticed her sit down and take out a book. The Pegasus just looked out the window again, lost in her thoughts. Then, another pony came through, a Pegasus who looked kind of familiar to Daze. Daze was no wonderbolt fanatic, she wasn't really interested in them. The other Pegasus just seemed to ring a bell to her. Probably something she learned in flight school. She remembers the teachers would go on and on about how many students graduated and became wonderbolts on their own times. It really just sounded like bragging more than teaching the amazing achievements the school had. Her old school was all about sports anyway, which was fine because Daze was really good at anything related to athleticism. After a long break of silence before the other Pegasus came in, Daze finally heard somepony say something. Her head turned around to look at the others, clearing her throat. "Yeah," she started in her raspy undertone, "It's definitely my first time goin’." She paused, with a small smirk, but her eyes were full of anxiousness. "I'm not nervous at all. Not at all," she said with sarcasm. Quickly the train door shut after the conductor called for one more chance, but nopony else came into the cabin. The train was going to be soon on it's way to the empire.
  23. The morning sun glistened in the newly awoken sky, shining it's gorgeous light down beneath to the ground. Though, the sky was cloudy, and the air was chilly. The sun seemed to be the only sign of warmth to the late winter air. Spring hadn't blossomed yet for the ponies, but it was a short distance away. The cold still nipped down on anypony who was outside. Soon, a cloud floated over towards the sun, blocking the sunlight's path onto the small piles of snow. The piles were speckled throughout the roads, half melted. There were more piles of water than snow. Golden Daze always noticed this when spring was coming up soon. Daze always noticed the little things in life, or more so nature. She likes to look down when she flies and observe the ground below. This morning though, she was a little more frantic to get her thoughts together. As so, the golden Pegasus zoomed all over her cloud-made room, making sure she had every little thing she needed before taking the train to the Crystal Empire. Daze was well prepared, certainly. She always packed her bags the night before, to have time that morning to get ready. She was just nervous. Her brain was still processing every second of her trip. Daze was still never fond of new places. She's never gone to the empire before, and she's never raced there. And this race was important. Extremely important. If she lost this race, her career could be over. Well, that's what she thought at least. In between panic attacks and hyperventilating, because she was extremely overdramatic for no reason, she double checked and rechecked the double checks to make sure she had all of her air sprinting items and extra blankets. The only thing she knew was that it was cold there, and she hates being cold, which is why she spent a whole ten minutes getting all of her winter gear and throwing it on herself. Her fuzzy hat, her fuzzy shoes, a fuzzy scarf, and her fuzzy sprinting team jacket. Lots of fuzzy things. And she packed a lot of other things, like snacks and her favorite pillow. She even brought some extra scarves and hats just in case somepony forgot anything. She was generous like that. Of course she brought a whole box of band aids too. Why? Because she's the most reckless flier ever, well, to get where she wanted. She'd try anything to make her dad happy. That comes with a cost. Lots and lots of scars. "Okay, Daze. You got everything?" she asked herself one more time, finally nodding her head in reassurance and grabbing her bags. The Pegasus flew out of her cloud house and towards the train station, trying to find a clock to look at the time. When she found one, she was relieved. "Girl, you got tons of time to chill out. Relax." Daze's raspy but feminine voice forced the word 'relax' out meaningfully, to actually make the word go through her head. "Just keep yourself warm, your muscles can't tighten for your really important, one in a life time race." Daze smoothly landed on the platform to the train, reading all the times to make sure she had the time right. In bold letters displayed 'The Crystal Empire', which happened to be the next train coming through. After a few minutes, the train was early. The conductor trotted out of the doors of the train, and loudly said, "Train to The Crystal Empire!" Daze flew up into the air with impatience from waiting, or just from the cold, with her bags, and glided into the train. The golden Pegasus then landed gently onto a chair, sitting right next to the window. Then she was lost in her thoughts. Every scenario played in her head at the big race. Winning, losing, making it to the big leagues. Daze's anxiety started itching all over her body. Her hooves started to tap the booth she was on frantically. Her wings opened slightly, to get some fresh air in them. She probably looked crazy, but this was a normal thing for her. Daze just needed to calm down.
