  1. myth walked behind Icy, smiling around at all the interesting magic when suddenly, she felt a compressing pressure in her head. She stopped walking and put a hoof to her head, wavering visibly. She breathed sharply as she focused on trying to fight the feeling and walk in the room. Her magic sight was sure useful most times, but it came at a cost. Her sight came from a high sensitivity to magic that manifested in her vision. In instances like this, it meant the sheer amount and strength of all the enchantments was taking a bit of a toll on her. Not only that, but as she got closer her vision began to dull. It seemed one of the anti-scrying enchantments was affecting her vision. Myth began to panic slightly as her vision was fading, combined with the headache the magical pressure was causing her. She took another deep breath as her head throbbed. She bowed as low as she could just inside the door and spoke in a tone of respect, tinged with the minor pain she was enduring "My apologies, Ōmetsuke Ishi. Gijitsu-Sha Shiroi. I... can't enter the room. I'm more sensitive to the magic in there. Is it alright if I wait out here?" She winced and turned her head a bit.
  2. Myth smiled as she resigned herself to assistance, hugging Icy's neck again. "Thank you, guys. I really appreciate your concern." Myth giggled when Raven suggested Myth could end up polka dotted. After Raven explained in more detail what she knew and suspected about what happened, Myth perked up. That's right, there were things to tell the others about. Important things. "There's not going to be anything they can do about my vision. Trust me, I know. But i do have a minor aether burn on my hoof they might as well bandage while I'm here." she explained. She sighed "I'm fine, guys. Really." she turned her head down "I just.... hope it's not permanent is all... this has happened before, and every time, I'm just.... terrified of losing it forever." she raised her head again "but having you two here is helping me stay calm. Normally, I'd just be.... well, let's just say last time, I didn't do so well." she smiled "But that's not important, right now! I've gotta tell you guys what I saw!"
  3. Myth shielded her eyes with her hoof as they entered the garden. It sure was bright in here. She felt the magic washing over her, causing her to slow her pace momentarily as she adjusted. She noticed that Raven was also affected by the sheer amount of magic being used in the garden. She knew that Raven's damaged horn did make her more sensitive to magic than most, but she didn't realise she could be affected like this. Although, it made sense. She put her hoof down and looked around at the garden's beatiful auras. The animals in the area were all beautiful in Myth's eyes. Tho, some of them were not real. She knew illusions when she saw them, and there were even one or two that were made of metals and crystal. Imbued with magic that was mostly foreign to her, but she was sure she noticed some surveillance magic in there as well. She realised she'd stopped to stare at the fake bird for a couple seconds, and quickly caught herself up, trying to play it off as just more of her eccentricity. She thought about whispering what she saw to Icy, but thought better of it, opting instead just to bank that information for later use. Myth looked around the place, not able to hide her excitement at all the new sights she was seeing. The magic in this place was just all over. Some of it familiar, some foreign. And some was taking strange shapes that made her very curious. The magic behind the walls was particularly intriguing. She could see some kind of magic-fuelled machinery, but couldn't quite tell what its propose could be. All of this, however, paled when she saw the golem. It was alive, but not alive. It had some kind of strange magic in it that resembled life magic but it was different. It was obviously bound in some way to the stallion who stood next to it. The stallion who, Myth saw, was also not a pony. His magic seemed closer to their guide's magic than any pony. He was something related to her species. The unicorn next to him, however was almost definitely a pony. She had something strange on her back. It looked like it had something magical about it, but until she activated whatever magic it held, she couldn't be 100% sure of much more than that. Myth's face was dominated by her uncontrollable smile of wonder that she had since lost the will to hide. She looked at the unicorn's.... thingy on her back, but mostly, she marveled at the golem, taking all her self control to not burst with questions about it, or to get close. She was so excited she almost completely missed her cue to bow. She bowed a little too quickly a couple seconds later than the others.
  4. Myth was only vaguely aware of being picked up. She had become so encompassed in her fear of total blindness that she'd forgotten her friends that were in the room with her. she felt Icy's body beneath her as she carried her down the hall. She listened and heard Raven's breathing as she followed closely. Myth took a deep breath a smiled. She'd only met these ponies rather briefly at the Hearth's Warming party in Ponyville. Yet somehow, she felt a sense of trust in these two that she hadn't felt for anypony since... well, since before she broke her trust. Myth leaned down and hugged Icy's neck as she moved along down the hall. "Thank you, Icy. Raven." she added the name in the general direction where she heard her breathing coming from, speaking calmly and softly "I'm okay. You can put me down." she began to slide herself off of Icy's back, hoping she'd be stopped by the time she stood on the floor. Her vision still completely gone, she still showed a great deal of nervousness and apprehension, but much less than she had in the lab earlier.
  5. Myth's normal, excited attitude returned over time as they continued along the tour. She had asked a couple questions that may have seemed a little out of the blue, but not too much so. Mostly, she just smiled and reacted with interest at Feather's continued interpretations of the sights of Neighpon. Then they arrived at a place whose atmosphere was visibly (at least to Myth) very different. She could feel the reverence and seriousness of Nira's sudden mood change as she began to speak to the group. Myth's smile disappeared as she payed close attention to what she had to say, her eyes locked on Nira. "Don't speak unless spoken to" might be difficult for her if things get too interesting, she knew her weaknesses, but Myth nodded with a serious look on her face as she silently vowed to do her best.
  6. Myth smiled at the mention of Discord's frost bite. Knowing who he was, it could very well have been a joke. Tho it seemed Icy didn't feel like it was. When Icy stepped closer to the table, Myth watched the crystals that were on it as they reacted to the magic she was using. Her eyes widened as did her smile, and without warning, she picked up the Canterlot Crystal in her hooves and touched it to Icy's horn. What resulted all happened at once. Icy's magic drained from her horn into the crystal suddenly, not completely but enough for the effect to be felt, her orbs supplemented the magic at the same time which kept her from really feeling much drain, but also overloaded the crystal, which became hot to the touch, burning Myth's hooves slightly, but more importantly, it also flashed brightly. Brightly enough that seeing ponies could see it flash as Myth dropped it and covered her eyes Aaah!" she screamed as she dropped the crystal which broke in half on the floor. She sat on her haunches, still covering her eyes, and then started laughing "Well, that wasn't as good an idea as it seemed in my head..." she said as she began laughing harder, her hoof still covering her face. "Sorry about your crys-" as she was speaking, she put her hoof down, but stopped talking. She blinked her eyes. She looked around, and blinked some more, her breathing getting faster and harder. Her heart beat like a jackhammer as she failed to find words. She scrambled to the side, desperately feeling with her hooves until she found the table. She sat there clinging to the table like a child clinging to the side of a swimming pool. "G-guys?" she asked the air "I-I.... I can't see...."
  7. Myth nodded when Icy said crystals house magic. She knew this fairly well. In fact she'd become something of an expert on the types of crystals that worked best for different kinds of magical applications. It was then that Icy activated the spheres on her amulet. Icy had mentioned these spheres before and their ability to enhance her magic, but she'd never demonstrated them before. When she activated them, Myth threw up her hoof to shield her eyes but then lowered it and looked at the orbs. "These are the orbs you mentioned before? Intriguing. They're acting like an extension of your horn." she said looking between the orbs and her horn. then he smile faded "I'm guessing you've already tried this for the horn project. It wouldn't work. Their energy is not independent. They're piggy-backing off your horn." she pointed to unseen streams of magic that connected the two, the brightly glowing orbs feeding her horn with extra aetheric energy. "Kind of like.... an extra fuel tank." When Icy walked by the materials, something caught her eye. She visibly changed her look and stared. "No no no, calcium carbonate is a really... inefficient crystal for.... magic propagation." she spoke distractedly, staring at the materials while the others spike for a second, then she said with a little more focus "But i think you're on the right track with using the subjects' magic to tune the crystals and somepony who can cast with an open mind will definitely have a greater chance of success. Icy, could you bring you and your orbs closer over to this table? And like... power them up a little. but just a little try not to bind me."
  8. First of all, do you know what Dissociative Identity Disorder is? Secondly, would it be acceptable to apply such characters? Thirdly, should I apply the alters separately or together? If you don't know what DID is, it used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder. In which a person (or pony in this case) has more than one personality (or "alter") inhabiting the same body. It's way more complicated and multifaceted than I can feasibly explain here, but that's the gist. Each alter is their own person and can be entirely different from the others with their own different wants and desires and disagreements between them. Like if multiple people got their brains downloaded into one body. The way I plan to do it is that they each have their own different cutie mark, and the cutie mark changes based on who's in control/surfaced (since cutie marks are magical). aside from that, no other physical changes. In the group I want to apply, there are three alters.
  9. Myth was no less disgusted at the prospect of consuming flesh than she was a moment before, but at least now, she understood a little more. she took a breath "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. It's just..... different, I guess." she tried to put off the thoughts that swirled in her mind of poor defenseless animals being— she swallowed "So you're descended from dragons, huh?" that sort of confirmed her earlier suspicions. And now she had a name for it. Two different names, in fact. The race facts about magic the Longma shared made her so curious she almost wanted to blow her cover and just ask a million questions. What she wanted most was a demonstration. If she truly could control magic akin to a Unicorn through her scales, that had to look spectacular. She took a breath to calm herself. Maybe later, she thought. It was getting harder and harder to keep up the guise of total blindness. She caught herself glancing at the Longma several times trying to catch a glimpse of her magic to see if she could see any signs of this healing skill in her scales, but didn't look long enough to see anything.
  10. Myth gasped at the mention of the Lord of Chaos "Do you know him!? I am a huge fan! I would just die if I could just lay my eyes on him and see his crazy magic!" she bounced excitedly. "Relaxing sounds like a good idea." she said with a wide smile. "Maybe you can tell me more about Discord. Maybe you can tell me something I don't already know." she winked. Myth looked around at the equipment. Most of it just looked like "things" and "ma-bobs" with no real refined form to them. She put her hoof on one of the microscopes, and upon giving out what it was, turned her attention elsewhere. There were also crystals. Oh she knew crystals. Crystals that resembled Crystal Empire crystals, and one that appeared to have magic consistent with Canterlot. She pointed at the assortment and asked "Are these what you're using for the horn project?" she examined the one from Canterlot closely without touching it with her hooves or magic. She squinted at it, then gingerly touched it with her hoof. Then she frowned before returning to a standing position, smiling at Raven "I'll be happy to see what I can do to help in here. Maybe I'll even be able to find a way to use some the equipment! I've never used a microscope, before. I wonder if it'll even work for me." she said the last part with genuine excitement at the prospect of learning new things about her vision.
  11. " " Flaire smiled "You're right about that. Sorry about my reactions. I generally try to be fair to others. Celestia knows I've had my fair share prejudice. I don't want to put that on others, too. You know, Stage Lights wasn't wrong. Meeting a 'real' changeling is an opportunity for me. I never really had anypony who really understood where I come from. My mom has tried to answer questions before, but.... she doesn't really know much either." he frowned again "...and... y'know, i never met the stallion who gave me my.... abilities." he looked back at Flux again "Sorry to unload on you, like this." he smiled "Maybe... we can be friends?" he hesitated for only a split second before offering his hoof.
  12. " " Flaire sighed "It's.... not your fault.... not personally, anyway." he frowned. He looked up at the changeling. He was honestly not sure what he expected, upon meeting a changeling. "I-I uh...." he scratched the back of his head "I have to admit... I used to hate changelings.... a lot. More than most." he looked down again "And then the reformation happened, and I had to face the fact that... I might meet you, one day." he looked at her again seeming to be searching for some kind of answers to his questions in her eyes "I... I know it's not your fault..." he frowned and said the next part with a fair bit of venom "It's not even Queen Chrysalis' fault, really." he took a deep breath and looked off in the distance "Kids can be cruel, sometimes...." he said distantly.
  13. Myth giggled at Feather's enthusiasm. She herself was having to hold back much of the same energy as she tried to keep her cover of appearing blind. But she could let some of that excitement show in response to what others were saying. Each time Feather related to her what she mostly could already see, Myth would giggle happily and ask little clarifying questions. Until, at one point, she smelled something that gave her pause. Her smile faded a bit and she looked, trying to make it look more like turning to hear or something, one of the vendor booths seemed to have chunks of something hanging out. Her heart stopped as she was visibly shaken. The smell, coupled with the sight of what she knew to be the faded and dying magic of a corpse, told her all she needed to know what it was. Meat. She knew there were creatures who ate meat, but she'd never really met any of them, and if she was honest, the very idea of eating a dead animal just made her stomach churn. It also filled her with sadness to see their corpses hung out for display. She put a hoof on her chest as she tried to regain her composure. After a few moments, she asked tentatively. "F-forgive me, but..." she turned toward their guide, attempting to keep her cool, and hoping she hadn't give herself away too much, but if she had, she decided it was okay "is uh.... everypony here... not ponies?" she smiled weakly "I'm sorry. I'm new to being outside Equestria, and I'm just.... not sure how to ask... I hope I'm not being offensive?" she wondered if she might just have to explain her sight in order to explain why she came to that conclusion.
  14. Myth shook herself to snap out of her shock. The princess was here. Now she needed to get over it. As her sight continued to settle down, she began to see more that she had been missing. This creature was intriguing to say the least, but now that Myth had gained her faculties more, she could see she wasn't the only one. In fact, It appeared that these creatures made up a good portion of the population. It was at that moment, she realised something about them. She wanted to ask to make sure, but she didn't feel like she had place to ask such questions, just yet. Maybe she'd talk to Icy or Raven later. Besides, it wasn't really that important what she was. That was just Myth's curiosity. She thought for a moment, and decided she would do something she doesn't normally ever do. Hoping her earlier reaction could be played off, easily enough, she began to stare forward and focus more on her other senses. It was strange to recreate the appearance she used to naturally have, but she decided if she could play herself off as completely blind, which she felt like she was doing rather well, she might be able to gather information she otherwise couldn't. Also, if her question did come up, it wouldn't seem so odd.
  15. Myth followed Icy as closely as she could politely without getting in anypony's way. Not only was she more comfortable next to her friend in this new place, but honestly, she just wanted to get off the airship. She whispered a little "Thank Celestia." when she'd finally set hooves on stationary ground. She looked about at all the ponies milling about their days at the docks. It reminded her of that one time she'd briefly gone to Baltimare in her wandering travels. Except.... something was different. She was still dizzy from the way the magic had moved on the airship, but she could see something was off about these ponies' magic. She tried not to let her face betray her confusion and curiosity, only managing to turn her look into one of concern. She held back another mouthful of sick, hoping that would be the last one now that they were off the airship. Her normal vision... well, normal for her, began returning just as somepony came up to greet them. This pony— well, this creature wasn't really a pony at all. Not one that Myth had ever seen before. He magic was so different from ponies' magic. She looked more.... draconic than equine. Now, myth hadn't met many dragons before, but she could tell this wasn't a dragon, either. Myth's smile grew as she became more excited than confused. This must be a new kind of creature she hadn't seen before! She successfully suppressed a squeal of delight that she was sure would not go over well if she hadn't. She had so many questions, but she had promised herself that she'd be most respectful today for Icy. This was an important mission... tho at the moment, she couldn't remember why. All she could think was "I wonder if She looks like a dragon. She looks quadrupedal, so maybe not. She must have wings tho. Are they feathery or leathery. He he, that rhymed." her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the new po- creature say Princess Luna's name. Myth's eyes practically bugged out of head as she realised she had been so distracted, she hadn't even noticed one of The Two Sisters was here! How did she miss that!? She stood motionless for a moment, almost entirely missing the fact that the newcomer had just called her a security officer.
  16. // 'member that Myth never got Ravens last name o3o // She nodded when Icy explained the reasoning behind her rank. She wasn't familiar with how the military worked but she knew that if they were going to be working with experimental magic, magic vision could indeed be invaluable. "Commander Shadowfire?" myth asked, raising an eyebrow "Well, I'm excited to meet her—" Myth's sentence and thoughts were both interrupted when who should they bump into but Raven! "Raven!" she exclaimed, smiling widely "My 'aether' buddy." she winked, referring to their shared connection to the way they cast magic, and the new word she'd taught her to refer to it. She came in for a hug. It was at this moment that she finally made the connection, and facehoofed, laughing at herself "You're Commander Shadowfire! Of course! Boy, do I feel sheepish!" she used an illusion to turn herself into a sheep "Lead the way, commanders." she gestured with her sheep leg. Upon moving, she'd drop the illusion and follow. "So you're both commanders, then, huh? That's pretty neat! I guess I made friends with the right ponies, didn't I?" she laughed
  17. Myth bounced along in the airship gleefully, having all but forgotten the real reason she was here, she marveled at the.... essentially oversized air balloon. She'd ridden in hot air balloons before, but there wasn't much to look at there, and it wasn't moving nearly as fast. This was a whole other ball game. Buckball, maybe? Well, in any case, this type of air travel gave her a very strange sensation. She had noticed that her her vision on hot air balloons was a bit off, but not like this. Everything's magic was trailing off of it toward the back of the airship. It's not like this wasn't something she'd seen on trains before, but something was different here. It seemed to be unstable in other ways, creating an effect that was, while really interesting, also very unsettling... to her stomach. Her eyes went wide and she rushed to the bathroom just in time to not make a mess on the floor. "Hm. That's interesting. I haven't even had carrots, today." she laughed to herself. It was getting easier to manage, but the effect that the magic moving in such an odd way had on her was still.... well, having an effect on her. She smiled as she bounced on back to the bridge of the airship. "Commander Icy! I looked out the window— so fun, windows on a hot air balloon —and I saw land! Is that Neighpon? Are we here?" she jumped up and down, then stopped and held back another mouthful of sick.
  18. Stage smiled and clapped his hooves excitedly "Se magnifique! Flaire, mon vieux! It is your opportunity, non?" he slapped Flaire on the back, but he just looked at him and gave a half smile. "I-I.... suppose...." he regarded the changeling with some confusion, mostly confusion with his own feelings. He looked down. "I'm.... sorry, I..." he looked back up at Flux "I know that you all changed.... and.... it's just...." He looked at Stage. Stage looked at him much like a father looks at his son who's having a difficult time, and spoke up "Oh, mon chou.... you must excuse Flaire. He has poor history caused him by the actions of the changelings, as led by your former queen Would you like to come speak backstage?" he gestured to the caravan-stage that was behind them. // French translations: Se Magnifique = that's magnificent mon vieux = my friend (essentially) non = no mon chou = my child (essentially) //
  19. // I'm sorry about the delay. i had a whole thing typed up, then my stupidity made it disappear and I didn't feel like retyping it for a while // Compass watched as Rose entered the bath as gracefully as she'd seen anypony do. She stood at the side of the bath while Rose talked, listening to her response to her question. She stifled a laugh when Rose implied Stellar 'trying something' with the mares, as she imagined the stuttering mess he'd become if somepony suggested that kind of thing. "I assure you, there would be no problems there. Stellar is far too nervous around new ponies to even think about 'trying anything'." she giggled quietly "Besides. He's also gay." compass laughed, but then she made a face "Oh, uh..... can we uh.... not tell him I told you that?" she looked around sheepishly "He made me promise not to tell anypony...." Compass frowned as she began to realise just how bad at keeping secrets she was. When Rose asked her question, Compass gave a half smile "Well... I've never really done this before, so... I suppose we'll find out together, eh?" She nervously dipped a hoof in the water to test. It was hot but not more than she felt she could handle. She took a deep breath and muttered "Here goes..." before she sat on her haunches and scooted to lower her hind hooves in first, holding herself with her fore hooves as she submerged her body slowly the water temperature felt good but she was a little nervous about the depth of the water until her hind hooves touched the floor. Where she relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief. she lowered her body into the water until it covered up to her neck, and sat on her haunches under the water. Maybe she'd try floating or swimming some other time, but right now she was content just sitting. "This water smells very nice. What minerals do you have in it? Perhaps herbs as well? I'm sure Rose would know a thing or two about those." she winked
  20. Myth smiled at the mare performing the security check and giggled "Oh, please call me Myth. Just seeing some things differently, that's all." she turned to Icy and gave her a puzzled look as she followed her through the door "Is it really that high? I don't need like special treatment or anything, just want to help your research." she explained "But... I guess if it's what I need to do the most good, then I'm happy to take whatever title you need me to take." she smiled. She wasn't really one to take on titles. She preferred to just be Myth, but she was ready to do whatever it took to get in there and do as much good as she could do. After a moment, she stopped and waited for Icy's attention. When she got it, she spoke up again with a seriousness in her voice that felt almost unnatural, but perfectly appropriate "I promise, Icy. I'll work as hard as I can to earn my rank. My hooves, my horn and my eyes. They're yours to command for the benefit of Equestria..." she smiled again "Commander." she winked.
  21. The magic emanating from behind Icy was still strong, and magic that strong always has an effect on Myth's emotions. When her vision is obstructed to it, though, it makes it easier to ignore. She continued to try to relax more, jumping a little when the pegasus touched her and broke her concentration for a moment, which she immediately tried to get back. She took a deep breath "I-It's okay.... I-I'm okay... a-as long as Icy stays right there." she managed a pained chuckle "I'm sorry I can't address him directly, but.... I-I'm doing my best..." she gulped "I-I... w-would like to.... g-get to know him..... i-if I can." as she spoke about him, her breathing shook more and more and she decided she should talk to Icy about it later when his magic wasn't pressing down on her. she took another deep breath and redoubled her effort to focus on Icy "I-I need to talk about other things... I would love to go with you, Icy. N-Neighpon? I don't think I've been there b-before...." it was hard to think about things like that at the moment, but with what mental faculties she had available, she couldn't think of having heard of a place called Neighpon. She nodded "E-excuse me. I-I'll be in the lab.... c-calming down.... j-just... you know... come get me?" she started backing away cautiously before she looked at the pegasus and said "Goodbye. I-I'll have to get your name again later." then she steeled herself and turned slowly toward Sombra "G-g-goodbye.... Ssss.... Sombra...." with that, she ran out of the room. Once outside, she stood by the door, leaning against it, hyperventilating with her hoof on her chest. She held back a scream and just sat down and let the tears she'd been holding back flow quietly for several minutes before rubbing them out of her eyes and turning to walk toward the lab.
  22. Flaire began to wonder about this unicorn. Some of the things she was saying gave him an impression that he just couldn't shake. He didn't want to make any assumptions, and he felt like just asking would be rude and kind of out of nowhere, but he wanted to know. He was busy thinking of way he could get her to say more things that would let him know what he wanted to know when Stage spoke up saying simply "Oh, you are a changeling, perhaps? Yes?" he looked at Flaire "Quoi? I thought it was an appropriate question. Do you not?" he asked in response to the look Flaire gave him, but then Flaire looked back at the unicorn also interested in the answer // French translation: Quoi = what //
  23. Myth whimpered began tearing up when the blackness spoke, she was about to run when Icy put herself between her and the black hole, snapping her out of the fear she was spiraling into, she locked her eyes with Icy and her fear began to subside as she listened very carefully to her words. "Y-y-yeah.... vice... Vice Admiral.... Ssss.... Vice Admiral...." she breathed deeply and tried to focus on Icy "S-Sombra... I-I... I'm sorry.... I just.... his magic.... I-I've never.... s-seen anything like it.... s-so much.... fear.... hatred... s-so... dark...." as she spoke, she continued to expend a great deal of effort to focus on Icy, which seemed to work to at least her be able to speak. Even if she couldn't speak directly to him, she could get her thoughts out by talking to Icy. she breathed deeply while she tried to calm down "I-It's not his fault.... hi-his magic.... n-not his fault.... I- I'm sorry...." her eyes darted from Icy back to Sombra and then quickly back to Icy as she kept breathing and focusing on the words Icy said. Myth breathed in and spoke through her exhale still laser focused on keeping eye contact on Icy "I'm sorry, I don't know anything.... c-can I... g-go... I... I'm sorry t-to.... him."
  24. Myth carried an empty glass bottle in her magic, it bobbing slightly more than it would for most, and lazily spinning about in the air unable remain upright. She caught sight of a pony focused on her work and she approached her from behind "Hey, do you know where commander Icy is? I have a question for her." She asked. The pony looked up and frowned "I'm not sure, but I think I heard somepony say something about her visiting with somepony in the data room? It sounded important, tho, so..." myth smiled and waved as she spoke on her way out "Thaaankiiiees!" she stopped just before turning the corner "Uh... which way is the data room?" She asked, smiling awkwardly. ==== The pony pointed at a door after having lead Myth down the hall a ways "That's the data room. Now, I need to get back to my work, can you take it from here?" myth smiled "Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!" the pony nodded and left Myth standing outside the room. Myth looked at the door, and suddenly, she was washed over with a little feeling of dread. She frowned. She wasn't sure what that could be from but she did need to talk to Icy. "B-besides," she reasoned aloud to herself "if Icy is feeling this, too, then I should really go in and help her." She took a deep breath and pushed the door open. Inside, she saw bookshelves. "oh great" she thought sarcastically "a library...." she walked through the corridors of shelves, glancing at the books that all might as well be empty to her. She followed where dreadful feeling was coming from, hating herself for getting closer to its source. lHer frown turned into a wide-eyed nervousness that escalated into full on panic. As she approached, she began to lose focus in levitating the bottle, and she grabbed it in her teeth as she began to notice the room get considerably darker. "I-is this... a new kind of magic?" she asked herself "I-I... don't know if I like this one..." she gulped as she approached an isle that seemed to have a higher concentration of this darker magic. As she neared, she could hear ponies talking there was Icy, and a stallion who's voice she didn't recognize. They didn't seem distressed at all. In fact the stallion's voice seemed kind of bored. She stopped just around the corner to steel herself, and then quickly turned the corner speaking to Icy. "H-hey, Icy, I'm sorry to interru-" she stood mid sentence and dropped the glass bottle, and it shattered on the floor. In the isle, across from Icy was the most terrifying thing Myth had ever seen. It was like a black hole. It radiated dark magic like a sun radiates light. It was a horrifying monster that towered over Icy. It's blackness only interrupted by two glowing green eyes that poured out a purple mist almost like a burning fire that oozed a feeling of dread that permeated Myth's body until she was the poor quivering mess she was. She turned her head stiffly toward Icy without breaking eye contact with the black hole. "I-I-Icy.... w-what is that..... a-and...." she gulped "w-what is it d-doing here?" she began to back away slowly, fighting her urge to run as fast as she could, her knees shaking almost noisily as her blood ran cold and she lost the color in her face.
  25. I was just looking at this list and I realized you don't have @TessQ85's Zecora on there. I don't know if she still counts given she's on temporary hiatus, but I thought I'd mention it in case it was just forgotten. (if it's better, i can tell her when she comes off hiatus to remind y'all to add her to the list (or she'll just see this comment in her notifications and know to comment, either way))
