You didn't specify your OC's name, all you said was "me" so I wasn't sure what to assume.

It seems like you either don't want to spend any money or can't. So I suggest using GIMP (its freeware) and going with vector art. There are tons of tutorials that I can link to you them and well as give you some of my own advice as well. I'm not sure how much you know so I'm not sure where to start.

I guess that it would be wrong of me to ask for some tips from the master? As you can see; I am trying out the dark paths of drawing and I really suck at it. If there is some small drawing tips that you can give me. You're maybe aware of a nice (free?) software I could use? Maybe there's a video that I should watch? I would gladly accept any advice from the expert!

I'll add you to the list, and nonsense, there no such thing as bad art work! I see nothing wrong with your arts. As for tips, I dunno about being a master, but I give you a few protips. Well, depending on what program you use your art will come out differently. I'm not sure if you're using a tablet, but if you are, I suggest Painttool SAI. Its a very good freeware program. Short version, lines are a bit hard to keep to a consistent thickness, because of the pressure sensor in the tablet (at least from my perspective), so I use Photoshop for line art. If you don't have a tablet, but want clean consistent lines, I suggest vectors. GIMP is usual people's free go to program for this. I can give you a more in depth analysis on all these programs if you want as well as what I prefer since I've used all of them.

As for videos, I myself have not watched any tutorial videos for arting so I wouldn't be the best person to direct you. I'm more akin to the deviantArt "How-to use/do such and such" tutorials.

Um, not sure what to say since I draw it xD But here goes. I should have made the banner larger as to fit more of Star Storm into it. The partially cut off bits are getting to me now. I should probably update the font with the current one were sporting on the blog. Also, I should have had her in a better pose facing the viewer. The only other problem is it would be better if you made the picture itself link to the blog.

My request: Twilight Sparkle posed sorta like this, but have her head propped on her left forehoof. Meanwhile, her right forehoof should stretch out towards an open book, as if beckoning the viewer to read a book with her. I think that would be awesome, hehehe......

PS: Don't really care if you draw Unicorn Twi or Alicorn Twi; I'll leave that detail up to you. XD

Bump! I'm finally back! Just make sure to read the update in the OP. This post is more than just a bump of shameless self promotion its to separate the old Request Thread post from the new ones. Anyway, I'm open, and rearing to test out my new skills.

Nivial couldn't believe this! Se had been completely ignored by almost everypony! Was her existence so insignificant that nopony could even acknowledge her. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes, why was she so darn sensitive!? Nivial took a deep breath. [colour=#6600ff]"Alright, focus Nivi, this is why you're starting this guild in the first place, to overcome your flaws."[/colour] Nivial wiped the tears from her eyes and walked through the center of the mass of gathered ponies, bumping some of them in he process. She hoped this made her seem tough and outstanding, despite her really wanting to grovel for forgiveness at their hooves.

She felt as if all eyes were on her for some reason. a hot sensation over taking her as she began to sweat from her own fears, but nonetheless she continued. Nivial spotted nearby wooden crate; perfect. She wrapped her hooves around it, dragging it ever so slowly into the middle of the warehouse where the group of ponies was situated. Her physical weakness clearly showed as she inhaled heavily, catching her breath before climbing on the crate and standing tall, making eye contact with all everypony she could. [colour=#6633ff]"Everypony!"[/colour] Nivial yelled out as loud as her naturally raspy voice would allow. [colour=#6633ff]"I'd like to thank you all for coming. My name is, Nivial!"[/colour]
