In the dark of night, Retching within the cold cave, Is the goblin's blight. ^ I made this haiku within 5 minutes!^ I have another but it isn't for the haiku. Heheh, some of you may know this... Alive without breath as cold as death never thirsting, ever drinking clad in mail, never clinking Drowns on dry land thinks an island is a mountain thinks a fountain is a puff of air. So sleek, so fair what a joy to meet We only wish to catch a fish so juicy sweet!

Before we start this story, I must notify you to not confused Gale Strom with Gale Storm, his name is different as you can see. We will talk about his family history first, and I promise it will be shorter than the main story. Please also be informed that this is my second time making a story, my first time is not on this forums, but rather still in progress of checking misspells and grammatical errors. This story may contain some grammatical errors and misspells, so please understand that I know there are some in this story. Just try to enjoy it! Here we go! Family History - It all began with his great, great, great grandfather, Cup Chambers. This pony was a dedicated scientist who enjoyed the science of chemistry and biology. He was a little bit of a mad scientist, but he was pure of heart. One day, he wanted to make a secret experiment on elemental powers. Each one failed year after year, he began to start doubting he would ever make it. His most recent, yet sadly last experiment was yet to be tested, but he tested it onto himself. He felt dizzy, fell asleep, then woke up later in the nighttime. He felt strange, the air felt a little musty somewhat in his laboratory. Just when he thought of opening the window, strong winds blew open the window. He was surprised by this strange weather. He yet thinks he thought of it. He thought of fire, but nothing happened, he then thought of water, still nothing happiness. Then he thought of the marble underneath him, nothing. Now he thought of electricity, a flash of lightning struck the window from his right fore hoof! He was flabbergasted, he made himself anew! This was an amazing discovery from his own tests, he was so joyous, he could hug a rat! Unfortunately months later, he claimed to be the new ruler of Equestria, this was bad new, but no one knew of this, for this was secret. He went to the palace and tried to conquer the Princess. But you all obviously know that she would win this fight. He was defeated easily, Only she and the mad Pegasus were involved in this fight. Now you all might think, how did Gale Strom have abilities like mad Cup Chambers? Lets go a little back to 3 days after the successful experiment. He gave news to all his family that was was going to make a family picnic at a peaceful private area. The reunion was full of ponies of three kinds; earth ponies, unicorns, and Pegasus ponies. After the reunion was done, he wanted to give them all hugs in thanks for coming to the party. All but one Pegasus, had been affected by his new gene. For that was his grandson, Stock Knit. Some of the mad pony's cells sputtered out into the other pony. You all might think he would have gone mad as well, but he didn't and neither did he know how to use it. Gale Strom - Gale Strom was being carried one late night into the Everfree Forest wearing a rag cloak, he was still colt, he was scared, and confused. He had no clue what was going on! The parents went to a tree, left him sitting there and ran off. He started to cry, and then cried harder. He wasn't crying because of this spooky forest, but because they left him there on purpose without reason told. He cried for 15 minutes under that rag cloak over him. He was angry, letting out a cry of agony for 5 second, lightning and wind was twirling around him. He was frustrated for what just happened. he didn't move a muscle. Not knowing what to do but cry. Until 3 minutes later, an earth pony, named Jar Berry, found him there lying on the ground sobbing all that tears coming out of him. Jar had no idea what happened here, so he asked if he were okay and wanted to know what happened. The poor colt didn't reply, but hugged him. Jar Berry was surprised by this hug, he had no idea what made this poor colt move to hug him. But he hugged him as well, he has told him he would take the responsibility of being his new parent if his parents were not found. Gale cried again, but this cry was different, he was happy and relieved. However, his parents were not found, so Jar Berry has been his legal guardian from now on that day, Jar Berry was a berry collector of sorts, and was specialized in making jars for fruit jellies. He taught this colt, when he was older, a few things, how it worked, what ingredients were used, and all sorts of those things. Gale didn't grow up as a jar maker or a glass artist, but he did take those as a hobby. For something else, something extraordinary gave him a Cutie Mark. As an older pony, he now wanted to find his Family Tree. He went to the Cloudsdale library where the source of Pegasus families are. He had given them his DNA results from the cells, but the doctors explained his family was not found anywhere in Equestria. But they did however, know who his families are, they suggested they look up at the library where secrets are only told to the family members. So he went there, looked up the history of his family. Found that his great, great, great grandfather, Cup Chambers, has turned into a mad villain. But he was never exposed to the world of Equestria, he wanted to the rule the world without anyone of them knowing what was going to happen. Cup Chambers had electrical abilities, made wind moves as he wanted, and was able to make energy make of solid light. He was so shocked, he could slightly remember what happened that night in the Everfree Forest when he let out the brutal cry, lightning and wind were around him in that night of disgust. He's glad he was found by someone, or else he might have turned into a villain like Cup Chambers, not mad like him, but with hatred and putrid agony. He was told by his doctors after he has read through his family history in the top secret library, they told him to never show any identity of himself again, Gale Strom asked why he should have. The doctors told him they this was the order of Princess Celestia given to them, if they found the long lost Pegasus of the mad ancestor. Gale Strom now understood what the reason of the order was given, if he showed any abilities to the people with his true identity, ponies of Equestria would fear that he would try to rule the world like Cup Chamber(They do not know Cup Chambers, but they can compare him to Nightmare Moon). So, he went to visit the Princess Celestia, showing the royal signature of the Princess of grant, the guards let him in. Princess Celestia has been having the conversation in her garden for 3 hours, he was told he shouldn't use his abilities for revenge, but for righteous justice to all of Equestria. Gale Strom suggested he would do the work in secret, because there was no reason for him to be a popular hero. But then it was her turn to suggest that he should have a friend or more. He understood, for friendship is important now, since he doesn't know where his parents are, he needs friends to keep him company in case of loneliness, to laugh with, to grieve with, and to give him hope and strength. He was told he will find new friends in the future, but he will have to find them himself. The End of the story of Gale Strom and History. I hope you all enjoyed this!
