I would definitely be surprised if that ended up being what goes down in Season 3 (hypothetically of course since it's been established that the box is g3(.5)) Even if it were a G4 box, as mention before in this thread, it would probably just be another mistake made by Hasbro. Which makes me wonder how these mistakes are even made. Do they just not get the memos of what's cannon in the show? It's one thing to be lenient on these things, and to try to make something pink to attempt to appeal to the younger audience more, but some of the mistakes are ridiculous and pointless, like the pets for example. If the show are supposedly 30 minutes commercials, then wouldn't it be smarter to have the pets and critters in the show accurate to the toy like (or vice versa for our sake)?

I occasionally role played on a forum called Chao-Island. Though the vast majority of the role plays there were mediocre 1 sentence a post role plays (usually based off of some anime), there were instances where users put real effort into writing a piece of literature with other people. I was one of those people.

I'd buy a whole six pack of the stuff. I'd fall in love with it too if it were to taste like skittles.

This was definitely targeted towards us. The graphics looks like something straight out of an 80's DOS game (though the sound effects sound more like Atari), or a more modern pixel style art game you find on newgrounds oftentimes.

I've watched new episdoes on The Hub since season 2 started, and I rewatch old episodes on netflix now. Also, this thread needs a poll.

I find the question of where an alicorn would banish somepony kind of irrelevant because I'm almost positive you need the Elements of Harmony to banish somepony to the moon or someplace incredibly far in the first place.

Discord is so far my favorite Villain, though I'm surprised Chrysalis doesn't have a higher percentage of votes in the poll.

Actually, G3 actually sold well and toyline wise, it wasn't that bad (I can't say the same for the TV show though e_e). G3.5 was where they lost a lot of money. But the FiM has given them so much profit and such a large following, that they don't really have an excuse anymore.

Currently I don't feel the need of a DVD box set these days. Personally I'm all digital, so I can understand why the company would be hesitant of making a hardcopy DVD boxset for the older fans, especially since we have netflix and Itunes.

Now I really don't want to rain on anypony's parade, especially since most of you are probably pleased with the fact that they're having a Derpy figurine being sold exlusive as Comic Con this year. However, after having a conversation with a MLP figurine collector who collected figurines long before G4, I was given the information of the quality of the previous generation's quality compared to G4, and why she was disappointed with Hasbro's decision. For example, G3 has noted to have had 32 different models with unique poses for a figurine at their disposal and at comic con, the exlusives were hand-made with intricate designs and unique poses. G4 on the other hand has had very little pampering with the toyline unlike the previous generations. G4 has only 5 poses (manes included) for figurines and the paint job is minimal. Derpy is no different, and instead of having a hand-designed uniquely posed high quality figurine of Derpy, It's just a factory mold. This made me come to the realization that Hasbro might not increase the quality of their products just because they're trying to appeal more to the bronies. It might actually be the apposite; that they might be taking advantage on our ignorance on the quality of the previous generations and are just going to keep manufacturing lazy recolors. I mean, if they thought that they'd get more appeal if they improved their quality, why did they decide to take a dump on the quality of their annual comic con exlusive pony figurine? I'm sorry if I seem rather negative, and maybe I should be more positive that there's gonna be derpy at comic con, but just because they are trying to appeal to the bronies doesn't mean that they're going to be less cheap to us unless they know it affects their sales which they're probably not. At this point I don't think there's ever going to be a change in Hasbro's ways.

I have a Hasbro manufactured target exclusive Twilight Sparkle plushie. Its mane is like an actual horses' mane, but It's not nearly as ugly as the one Rosewind posted. It actually reminds me of future Twilight. Its design is almost spot on to the pony designs in the show minus that it doesn't have cutie marks on both sides.

I would love to see a custom one that has a G4 design that works just like that. I would think hasbro would be making one, but I personally wouldn't actually.

I think It's safe to say that being an alicorn doesn't make you a god(dess). I guess being an alicorn is just sort of the icing on the cake for a god(dess), and that Alicorns are just a rare (and mostly royal) breed of ponies. If Cadence were eternal, I think she would've been more hesitant to marry a mortal.
