Yes, she's worthy of her reputation. She's amazing, and she's a sign of how much of an effect the Brony community has made.

I don't really read many fanfics. I read Cupcakes, but only because I felt that I had to read it, seeing as so many whine about it all the time. I've read Rainbow Factory, another fanfic that has a bad reputation, but I thought it was pretty good. It's no-where near as gory as Cupcakes, and it had a better story to it, and was a lot more suspense.

Well, it's still got a massive fanbase, so I wouldn't worry about it dying out anytime soon. Give it a year or two at the least. The only thing that could happen that would actually make a vast number of people leave the fandom would be if they cancelled the show. I don't really see how your friend has anything to back-up his claims of it being a "fad" - I'd say it's bigger then ever.

I think it would only be properly canon if it was mentioned in the show. At least, that's how I see it. Still, this reminds me of the fact that the Brony fanbase is being recognised, which is always a nice thing.

Not that I nessecarily approve of Hasbro taking down a lot of stuff, but, if I'm honest, them taking down Pony archive made sense, so I wasn't really annoyed about that. I haven't seen this video, so I guess I can't really say whether I think it makes sense or not.

Yay! I read the book, and I'm glad they've got some kind of date on the film. Also, I had to explain to my friend who Frodo Baggins was. Sometimes, I think he's an idiot.

I own a pony toy that a friend (rather embarrasingly) got me. I don't really take an interest in the toys, but appearntly I own one now, so I'm not sure how I'm gonna hide it from my family. Don't have a picture at the moment, though. It's a Rainbow Dash toy.

You do have a point, especially since they're hiring a new market manager that understands it's "relevance in pop culture" or something along those lines. I'd still say there are more kids watching it, though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure there are only a few thousand Bronies (I say only) while I'm sure there are countless little kids that'll watch it.

Yeah, I'm pretty good at controlling it. I don't mention it around family, or people I know who are considered "cool." Oh, the taunting would be endless!

Well, you have awesome friends. I wish there were more people at my school who could appreciate nerdy things. There's only one kid at my school who's a Brony, and he happens to be my best friend. He's also the person that got me into the show. It's not something he talks about, though.

I'm almost certain there are more young kids that watch it then adults. On TV, anyway. If Bronies were the majority of viewers, then there'd be a lot more merchandise aimed at us, and they'd be realeasing DVDs in Seasons, ETC.

My best friend's a brony, and he's the one that introduced me to it. Two more of my friends have seen it, but one didn't like it (he said he didn't really see how anyone but little girls could like it) and one did, but hasn't really become a brony.

I'm still fairly confused as to what shipping is. As far as I know, it seems to be putting two characters together as a couple, and I've sort of seen it as just a sexual thing, or something "cloppers" do. I'm guessing that's not quite a fair view on it.

A number of them. If I'm honest I quite like a few old 1990s first person shooters, but I play most of the newer ones on console. I have a Steam account (Don Bozzieri). Minecraft's one of my favourite games at the moment, although a lot of people don't like it. Sorry for replying so late.
