  1. Thanks for setting this project up CoderPony. That was an interesting read, and we should do a quick survey every 6 - 12 months. Are you sure you're not working for Hasbro Marketing?
  2. Yes, its awesome! Hope the developer will keep adding to it in future updates.
  3. Sure thing it makes sense that the Pony's huge eyes are accommodated by smaller brains! I'm guessing the artist/animator put that in deliberately as a joke.
  4. Hi, Just something I found curious on the last episode "Secret of My Excess". This is a bit geeky I admit! From the wall charts at the doctor and vet offices; it's interesting to see that Ponies have much smaller brains (relative to their body size) than dogs! Notice the chart in the Doctors office (I'm guessing it is a Pony since that's what the doctor usually treats). Compare that to the dog chart at the Vet's office.
  5. Before I forget, have you Ponies heard of Operation Winter Wrap Up? Operation Winter Wrap Up http://operationwint...apup.weebly.com Our Mission: Our mission is to get as many Bronies as possible to donate one or more My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic toys to a local holiday toy drive. This way we can spread the pony love to little Fillies who might otherwise go without.
  6. Hi, As I'm in Australia, we can't buy MLP episodes from iTunes yet, and I don't have cable TV at my place. So I reckon the only real way to show Hasbro my appreciation for the TV show is to buy Pony Toys (well actually any Hasbro or Hasbro licensed products). Problem is the toys are pretty much useless for me. Other than the fact that my house is already full of stuff, I doubt I'd get as much enjoyment out of the current toy merchandise. So my solution was to buy Pony toys for other kids (hmm .. or wait till I have some of my own). I've bought the following today and put them underneath the Gift Tree (located in shopping centres at least here in Australia). These will go to charity and given to needy families: 1x Rarity figurine. 2x Rarity & Starswil Royal Carriage. 1x Pinkie Pie & Sweetie Belle's Sweets Boutique. 1x Sideswipe Kre-O Transformers set. In total that's $82.40 that will go to five kids to hopefully have a happier holiday.
  7. Hi Everypony, I think if this C&D is real then Hasbro management have said enough-is-enough. With their upcoming DVDs (and hopefully Blu-Ray) releases, they are doing the ground work now to stamp down on the biggest source of pirated content. Less competition == potentially better sales of products. EqD posted this today about a new Marketing Manager position at Hasbro. it's interesting to see: A pop cultural phenomenon? These people think big. I'm hoping perhaps better toys that reflect the actual TV show characters.
  8. Thanks MyLittlePonyTales, that's a lot of stuff to get through. Thanks again everyone for the great welcome. Back to my original post: It looks like Hasbro has gotten onto PonyArchive. Honestly, I thought this was inevitable. I can understand things from Hasbro's end.. MLP:FiM could be a potential pop culture cash cow, and if Hasbro start releasing DVDs and BRs discs who doesn't want the pirated content taken off the internet? Anyway, enough of that for now. I'll buy a couple more Pony toys this weekend and put them under the tree.
  9. Here are some photo. Not sure why these are just links instead of the actual images? http://counteralias.net/MLP/Christmas2011/MLP_christmas1.jpg http://counteralias.net/MLP/Christmas2011/MLP_christmas2.jpg
  10. About myself.: I work in technology and computers and a bit like Twilight in some ways. My hobbies include SCUBA diving and travelling. How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: Google How did you became a fan of FiM?: Watching the show My one favourite main cast pony?: Miss Rarity Hi Every pony! Wow, what a wonderful fandom. Don't know how long this will last but let's hope it go for several more seasons yet. I just joined up and was hoping to make a post on the general forum, however that's not possible so I thought of posting it here. I came across this the other day: Operation Winter Wrap Up http://operationwint...apup.weebly.com It's a neat idea, pick out a toy (it doesn't have to be MLP necessary) and donate it to a chairty so that some little person (and their family) have a brighter Christmas. I think this is awesome is because not only does it bring a bit of joy to some kid, but also I'm returning a favour to Hasbro for creating such an awesome TV show and not taking steps to clamp down on distribution of the show on the internet. Personally I wouldn't mind buying the toys for myself, but honestly I think the novelty will wear off quickly and my house is already full of stuff. Today during my lunch break I went to my local Target store in Adelaide, Australia. The store has a gift tree, which means I walk to to the tree pick out a tag, buy a suitable gift and stick it underneath the tree. Some lucky girl will (hopefully) enjoy her new "Pinkie Pie & Sweetie Belle's Sweets Boutique"!
