The reason why I drew Nimaru's character is because he was one of the artist who made several wonderful Original Characters, and as such inspired me to create my own! Here's an updated version of my Original Character who can create and control fire: Fire Heart! Don't worry, she's not really on fire but has a Fire Shield around her, one of thee many spells she knows. -

Well, these are the steps I do for all drawings: I hand draw a sketch, scan it, and upload it onto my art program. I create a second layer and trace the sketch (sometimes a third if there is a background), then delete the sketch layer. Depending on the art, I either create one more layer for coloring or, with ones that have a complex backgrounds, two additional layers (Foreground/ character coloring and Background coloring) So you have a layout in the end that looks like this: Foreground Line Art Foreground Color Background Line Art Background Color I may try eventually separate layers for light and shading as well as one day try to draw start to finish on an art program rather than sketch on a piece of paper. -

Thanks! Lightning Bliss is indeed a great reviewer and very nice to others. This piece wasn't bad to draw as I first thought (I had trouble drawing rainbow ponies before like Rainbow Dash).

Fire Heart is graduating from school, but has yet to start a profession (Whatever profession would involve a pony that can create fire!). She is very talented in her fire magic and has learned more control. She currently plans on becoming a teacher and share her experiences, but there may be something else that she can see herself doing. So I guess Apprentice, or Journeyman? She's kind of on the fence.

So I've recently watched some episodes of Steven Universe, and you know it's not bad. Maybe it's because I love geology and collecting crystals, but the story has interesting characters, good story lines with continuity, and lots of action.
