  1. [ Creature Related Character ] Name: Rommel Gender: Male Age: Adult Species: Diamond Dog Eye Color: Sickly yellow Physique & Colors: Very tall and slender, yet muscular. His coat is a shadow grey in color. Residence: The countless miles of tunnels located beneath Equestria. Occupation: Shady dealer of artifacts and organized criminal. Likes: Business, culture, absolute obedience, wealth. Dislikes: Laziness, gross incompetence, being cheated, cowardice. Character Summary: Rommel is a large and quite imposing Diamond Dog that prides himself on his refined behavior and lifestyle. He is commonly seen wearing a diamond studded collar (Like most, if not all Diamond Dogs), a buttoned red suit vest, and a small pair of spectacles perched on his long canine muzzle. He is very cool and composed, with a talent for business, organization, and leadership. Starting at a young age, Rommel was always bossing the other Diamond Dogs around, utilizing his intelligence and low cunning to get everything he could ever want. He was downright ruthless when necessary, and thus it wasn't particularly surprising that he eventually intimidated, manipulated, and backstabbed his way to the head of his colony. Despite using less than pleasant methods of acquiring what he desires, he likes to consider himself to be fair. He rewards hard work and initiative appropriately. Today, he is dedicated to his work, directing the other Diamond Dogs under his leadership to dig and excavate the glittering riches that lie hidden beneath the surface of Equestria. Of course, not every discovery is a treasure trove of gemstones. Occasionally Diamond Dogs comes across buried artifacts that relate to the Ponies that dwell above ground. Diamond Dogs normally discard these useless items, unless they happen to be particularly shiny or possess some other pleasing quality. Rommel figures the Ponies above might find these items valuable and makes a point of collecting them. Occasionally he travels to the surface and barter these lost goods for, what else? Gems of course! Sometimes Rommel and his Diamond Dog underlings fall short of their quota. It is at this point that Rommel takes it upon himself to make up the difference by traveling to the surface and partaking of less than legitimate business practices, such as extortion, robbery, and even kidnapping. Fortunately, as a refined gentleman, he ensures none are seriously harmed in his activities if it can be he helped. Usually one to rely only on himself, Rommel acquired a business associate during a card game with the management of other colonies. Powder was his name. Ever since then, Rommel found Powder to be a valuable asset in his various business ventures. Although simple, Powder is trustworthy, loyal, reliable, and follows orders to a T. That is, as long as he understands the orders in question, of course. The best part? Rommel doesn't have to worry about Powder getting too big for his boots and trying to usurp his position. The two are currently inseparable. Where one can be found, the other is certainly not far away.
  2. *Appears, pounces, and snuggles.* Eeeeheeeheee!
  3. Finding myself having difficulty in just jumping into the rp after having my character accepted, I decided to throw out some ideas to perhaps get things moving easier and maybe help others with their own rp! XP As one may guess, Wicked Wishes is a very high-maintenance Pony and simply cannot function on her own for various reasons (If not just for practicality's sake). She's more often than not accompanied by a personal entourage of Ponies that include personal assistants, stylists, makeup artists, wardrobe engineers, handlers (Ponies specially trained to deal with individuals as unpredictable and volatile as Wicked Wishes), and any others an eccentric fashion celebrity might require. If anypony finds themselves interested in any of these positions, please say so in this thread, and we'll get to working something out! :3 Also, if anypony finds themselves inclined to do so, I will allow somepony to claim Silver Strut, Wicked's mentor and her initial foot-in-the-door to the fashion industry. Also, the name doesn't necessarily have to stay the same as I can easily just change it.
  4. Name: Wicked Wishes Gender: Mare Age: Adult Species: Unicorn Pony Coat: Pink with black hooves that fade into her coat. Mane/Tail: White, long, and largely unrestrained. Possesses a strange weightless quality. Eye Colour: Deep Carmine sclera with no visible iris or pupil. Physique: Long and lithe. Residence: She primarily resides in a non-dimensional space that manifests as a magnificent yet mad mansion with seemingly endless rooms. She can summon the entrance upon any solid surface, or simply connect a physical door to the impossible space. She also owns an old, abandoned-looking cabin somewhere within the Everfree forest. Occupation: She does not have an occupation in the traditional sense. She is beholden to a power much greater than herself, although she is not heavily managed by it as it happens that simply doing as she pleases ultimately fulfills its needs in the end. She maintains her lifestyle through use of her power, trickery, and sometimes even tribute. Cutie Mark: A decorative, jewel-encrusted silver hoof mirror floating within a black splotch upon the flank. Unique Traits: The Disquiet - Wicked Wishes’ magic is fueled by a cosmic madness that exists beyond the known limits of existence. It is a dark power that is sensitive to the thought and emotion of sophont beings. It is a versatile power that is largely only limited by the user’s creativity. While this negatively charged power is great, it is not without its limitations. The Disquiet allows Wicked Wishes to perform such feats as (But not limited to): Summon servants of varying levels of power and ability, summon physical objects both mundane and enchanted, instantaneously teleport, make identical autonomous copies of herself, manipulate the physical capabilities of herself and others, change the physical appearance of herself and others, and manipulate the physical forces affecting individuals and objects. Mad Mare’s Mask - Although this mask appears to be composed of a polished ceramic material, it is nigh-impervious to forces both kinetic and magical. History: The glamorous and exceedingly eccentric Unicorn Pony that calls herself Wicked Wishes began her life as Pristine Wishes, the daughter of a wealthy Industrialist, living in the small Earth Pony town of Trottingham. In her youth, she was spoiled absolutely rotten, given everything she could have ever wished for, even things she didn't even think of. She was always the most popular filly in school, constantly acquiring an almost obsessive following of Ponies craving her attention and approval. She ruled the social scene with an iron-clad hoof, condemning others to languish in obscurity or social exile if they didn't quite meet her sky-high standards. Needless to say, she made quite a number of Ponies absolutely miserable in their school days. One day, a freak accident that resulted in a catastrophic fire burned her mother's successful company to the ground. While it was nopony’s fault, Pristine's family were unable to recover from the disaster and were ultimately left despondent. If it wasn't for the kind hearts and hospitality of other Ponies, they would have been out on the streets to fend for themselves. To some, this might have been considered to be some form of poetic justice. The wicked queen had been dethroned. Unable to live the life that she had become accustomed to, the only life she had even known, Pristine Wishes fell into a deep depression and steadily began to lose her grip on reality, simply unable to cope with the situation. She dropped out of school to avoid the social ramifications of all that had transpired, and also to get a job to help support her family, but she quickly found that she was unable to force herself to expend the effort to do so. In her sorrow and shame, she isolated herself from all others. It was at her lowest point that something extraordinary happened. Something came to her from beyond all that is known and understood. A dark otherworldly power had locked onto the intense negativity pouring forth from within her. It promised her the return of all that she had lost, everything that she so desperately longed to recapture, and all that was required of her was to give unto it her physical body. Normally, such a request would give one pause, but in this particular case, there was very little deliberation. In the moments that followed, she was reborn. No longer was she Pristine, she was Wicked. Character Personality: Wicked Wishes is entirely self-serving and her self importance is unassailable. She believes that she is entitled to whatever it is that she desires at any given moment, and is not afraid to simply take what she wants one way or another. When it comes to other individuals, she takes a different approach, attempting to win them over through gifts, pacts, or good old-fashioned charm. Existence is a game, the ever-changing rules known only to herself. Character Summary: Wicked Wishes appears as a wealthy and desirable (although decidedly spooky) member of the upper crust that prides herself on her particular brand of beauty and grace. Her most striking feature is the black ceramic mask with a red wedge design on the forehead that she wears over the upper portion of her face. She is never without it. She is a terribly vain creature (to the point of narcissism) with an absolutely monstrous ego and a psychological need for attention. She does whatever she wants, whenever she wants, with little to no regard for the consequences. Her high self image often gets her into trouble. Despite a certain madness evident within her and her particular focus on the darker things in life, she's actually quite friendly, playful, and even affectionate towards those she meets. It is difficult to discern her true intentions as the majority of the time, she's simply looking to have some fun. She is an enigma, sometimes even to herself.
  5. Wicked Wishes has gone through some substantial changes in her character, which also resulted in some changes in her appearance. She is now a Unicorn instead of an Earth Pony, and her cutie mark is a decorative silver hand-mirror with the black splotch as a background. For those who find themselves interested, some liberties can be taken, because on average, I tend to enjoy seeing what artists come up with. Sometimes it's even better than what I have in my mind. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. <3 More information on her can be found here http://equestria.electronook.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=702 Here is her original image. 6. G1 was quite interesting. It was even more sickeningly sweet, but had interesting spots containing unintentional nightmare fuel. The first movie featured a terrible fellow turning Ponies into monsters to pull his chariot. I can't say that sort of thing wont crop up in my roleplaying. X3 I will be sure to keep you in the loop!
  7. Hello, hello! I remember coming across your forum during my second attempt at looking for an FiM roleplay. I hope things work out wonderfully for you here!
  8. Oh yes. After discovering FiM, I went looking for MLP rps, but there was (what I believed to be) a surprising lack of them. I decided to try my hand at making my own, and that's one of my current projects, but it's currently very slow going. I decided to take another whack at finding a FiM based rp, and discovered there were several since the last time I looked. I guess I didn't wait long enough before!
  9. Ah! Thanks everyone for the lovely welcome. *Brohoofs back!* It is quite difficult for one to not admit that FiM is one of the best cartoons to have come out in a long time, at least in my opinion. Those particular creators do good work. I've liked everything they've done prior to their wonderful take on MLP. Ah, well, hopefully you will be in for a ride when I actually get rolling! I have a tendency to play villains! I find them incredibly interesting. Wicked Wishes up there is a particularly fun one of mine. She's essentially the Pony form of a character I've been playing for years. She only exists because someone randomly drew that picture of her. I decided I wanted to actually put the image to use!
  10. Ello everyone! I go by many names online, including Morguemeat, but many just call me Meaty. I am male, currently twenty-five years old, and fancy myself a bit of a wordsmith. I keep myself sharp with roleplay, and have been doing so for well over a decade now. I like to use video games and various shows on television as sources of inspiration, especially cartoons. I first got into My Little Pony when I was far too young to really understand much of anything. Ah, that lovely age of blissful ignorance. I can't even recall the number of times I watched the original My Little Pony Movie. As I grew older I lost interest. It just really wasn't my thing. I was more about action and adventure! Two generations of the series uneventfully went by, and eventually Friendship is Magic was created. I watched a single episode of it out of random curiosity and discovered that I actually enjoyed it. After falling in love with the show, I watched every other episode that was available to me at the time. Even now, I squeal with glee when a new episode makes its way onto Youtube. It takes me back to those innocent and carefree days of childhood, when things weren't so entirely stressful. Back then, everything seemed like magic. Many guys like to think that having an interest in the iconic magic giggleponies is one of the most exceedingly unmanly things one can do, but in reality, it is those people who are uncomfortable with their own masculinity. The primary thing that brings me to this particular forum is a strong desire I've had since discovering Friendship is Magic. I wish to do a My Little Pony roleplay. One with an epic plot that includes the classic struggle between good and evil, while still adhering to the spirit of My Little Pony. Perhaps I shall have a bit of luck here. I have just the character in mind. Eeheehee. I'm sure you'll find out more about her later. Anyway, I believe that's enough about me for now!
