{{ I haven't been ignoring the thread, just hadn't gotten around to this yet. }} Robikku swallowed for a moment, trying to piece together what he could for now...it was something of an interesting scenario he'd found himself in and this had taken him a little by surprise. Was he sure he was ready to pull this off...he was mostly about to find out. There were some general pieces of testimony - mostly vague descriptions of what several witnesses claimed to have seen...a few words from Pansy's friends and relatives about her personality - for the most part, those were always biased in favour of the defendent themselves. Robikku was more interested in her alibi itself - The pony had insisted that she hadn't been near those parts, and that she wasn't even sure if she'd met the victim before...all the usual words of an accused regardless of verdict, he thought to himself with a soft sigh. He could feel himself on the huge mountain climb against evidence he'd been told of in class. If anything, Robikku was thinking quietly to himself, it was going to be a fairly good idea to call the key witness to the stand and see what they might have to say for themselves...there was no other easy way to ascertain more facts, afterall. He could see Mitsarugi sorting and checking his evidence for a moment - he wasn't quite sure what the opposition had that would counter any arguments he could make, and thus could feel himself growing just a tad more uncertain. Mitsarugi was pretty darn good at what he'd been taught - and even though Robikku was no slouch, he still felt slightly worried for his own side. However, now was not the time for him to be getting ants on his flank, he had a task to perform. " Alright, I think if you're both ready... " The teacher spoke up, along with a deep throated clearing of the throat. " There's nothing else to do other than start the trial of Pansy Pony V Ponyville. Good luck to both of you. " Robikku watched the teacher as he stood behind the desk, sat down and tapped his gavel on the desk....it was time to start.

The words took Robikku by surprise - it wasn't like he'd anticipated himself to be chosen quite for anything like this, and he wasn't really sure he was even prepared enough to take this task on in such an unpredicted fashion, but he had no time to let himself be taken by surprise as he made his way down to his intended destination within the room. Indeed, what was to be done now was a quick moment of trying to de-excite himself as quickly as possible and get his court game-face on. There was no time to be sitting around feeling like an excited colt...this was a moment that he had to feel the pressure of the shark pit that was open court, since all eyes were going to be on him and his presentation of the case before him and his opponent. Speaking of whom...the teacher seemed to be drawing their name now. " And for his opposition on the prosecution... " The room fell into hushed silence as the name of the 'lucky' competitor was read aloud. " ...Mitsarugi Gavel, come on down! "

This was the point that Robikku Pegasus had made his way into the class, eying the setup with a mild curiosity - he knew that talks of an assessment of sorts was on the way, and that their own teacher had been working on the idea for a while, but nobody had really any idea on what the plan was...however, it all seemed to make sense once they were in the eye of the storm. " So...this is the plan? " He said dryly to himself, shrugging as he made his way over to an empty seat by a few fellow classmates who were all quite eager to figure out the underlying reasonings for todays rather unexpected turn of events. Robikku was carefully taking time to think about how this was going to go - no doubt that they were about to get told that they were going to have to take some time to review some 'case materials' before coming back to make their cases...and there were definately quite a few candidates in there chomping at the bit to find out if they were the ones who were going to be presenting on behalf of either their 'client' or the court. For the most part, the only one likely to be the judge would have been their own teacher, having once been a lawyer himself several decades ago before moving onto teaching the ways of Equine law... " Well, I suppose all there is now is the waiting and watching... " He said to himself quietly as he and the rest of the class waited for their teacher to arrive - no doubt this was going to be a class none of them would forget in a hurry.

Do you really think that 1000 years is THAT big for a Unicorns lifespan though? besides - IN pony years, that could be a lot shorter...!

Yeah, pretty much that - Important guests prompt CRAZY levels of perfectionism... Celestia was far too polite to turn down what they offered...mostly because they were all being sincere about it.

People DO go overboard serving Royalty in Real life though...mostly because it's all about the etiquette. This was mostly trying to parody/demonstrate that fact and really shouldn't be taken as anything more as a jab at cultures reactions to such things overall. ANYONE dealing with important guests can get carried away...it does happen. As for Twilight - she's not very 'Social' smart despite her regular intelligence...this was why she overzealously reacted that way.

Absolutely priceless expressions - and Rainbow Dash was just fun to see being such a pain! XD

See the last 6 seconds - it cuts from the front shot with her on the table, showing no cakes...and then cuts to a behind shot then back to her front again, and by her feet there are some unexplained cakes on the table.

The situation was a little much for the Pegasus - his wings had been tied together to prevent him from catapulting backwards at speeds because of the effects of the cursed plant - something he had only encountered in the occasional tales of the unfortunate ponies who had experienced it first hand. Robikku had personally hoped to avoid Poison Joke's for all of his days - after all, amy sane pony had no business being in the everfree forest and they were more or less more commonly found there... " Geez, this is humiliating - I can't go back to the university like this...I'd be both a laughing stock and a Destructive force! " He said, rolling his eyes at the sheer lunacy of the situation. " SO glad I have a free day today! " the pegasus added, muttering under his breath. He had only gotten caught up in this whole mess by merely being a bystander - which was something he found both a little amusing and slightly alarming...but given that there was nothing else better to do, he just kinda found himself chuckling slightly at the complete absurdity of everything he found himself in. Given everything, he at least had gotten off lightly with the Poison Joke - and he was fortunate enough to have escaped anything that was more extreme...and he was fairly thankful for that.

And there was much apologising to Hasbro!

And this is another reason why this fandom is already leaps and bounds over everything else... The Creators give a hoot about the show and the people watching it. Ponies - Bringing world peace, one Episode at a time!

It just seemed like a good idea - T'was just his (Inherited) folks house being in Ponyville and thus he didn't wanna move away from it given the nostalgia value...so he's just kinda an idiot/fussy about the idea of moving elsewhere overall. He'd probably be in Ponyville more often than not, but he has ties in Canterlot which essentially keep him 'on the wing' every once in a while. In this case, it's more of a characteristic choice than it is about convenience of location. For the most part, it may just be easier to say that his studies are strictly his reasons for going to Canterlot, and the Rest mostly is Ponyville-based - that would at least help reduce the commuting issue, somewhat. Although if you DO need more ponies there, it sounds like it wouldn't be so bad a fit - his travelling to Ponyville could easily be something as selfish as he enjoys the bakery goods there and enjoys a good trip out there once in a blue moon. Along with the small amounts of PV based work, of course. XD

Residence: Currently studying Pony Law in Canterlot...although he commutes from his small one-story house in Ponyville which his folks helped rent for him some time ago. Currently doing some paid basic Odd-legal jobs around both Canterlot and Ponyville as part of his overall learning experience. Commutes on a regular basis to and from Canterville, but lives in Ponyville. Motivation: His cutie mark was discovered when he found he had a passion for justice and doing the right thing, and thus his career path was based around that. Likes: Chilli, Cinnamon-flavoured foods, a Variety of music, socialising...amongst many other things. Dislikes: Ponies being wronged unfairly, excessively cold weather...other than that, he's pretty easy going. Character Summary: Robikku is a fairly inquisitive teen in the latter years of his teens - he mostly enjoys occasional moments of quiet either in the clouds or on the grassy knoll by his house. He may not always have the most free time in the world, but he enjoys hanging around either on the clouds or on the ground by his house on a small grassy knoll. For the most part, he's an easy going guy but he can get a little overly curious if something sparks his interest...although this may not always lead to being a good choice! Normally a pretty considerate pony, he can be a little overzealous at times but usually means well in the long run. He can often be seen going to the Pie's bakery to pick up cinnamon rolls - his personal habit of choice! { Any suggestions useful, really - I don't create characters that often so I forget/omit things. }

Yeah, the song was definately meant to be slightly off - it's just Pinkie trying to make things better all on her own, which in this case wasn't really the appropriate thing to do...and they can't get across that the song was AWFUL if the viewer themselves 'enjoy it'' since that kinda takes the sheen off the point that, well, it was meant to be an awful song.

Yup, I definately can say this was an absolute blast of an episode, and it made me smile so much...confound these Ponies, they make awesome cartoon episodes that make me unapologetically happy to be a fan! :3
