  1. Oh cool! If you wouldn't mind drawing my OC, Dunder Blust (same pony as in my avatar): http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/098/4/b/4bb7d3a3e7398ae301a6c54624cb2d5c-d4pw577.jpg If you need anymore information, don't be shy

  4. I am interested OC's name: Dunder Blust Location: Cloudsdale. A short summary or a link to their app would be nice: (doesn't include recent divorce and spiraling depression he is currently in) Whether they'll be picked up by the group of not: Wha? o3o Though.... He'd probably need to be picked up or dragged along by Fire
  5. Dunder forced a smile, not that he was upset they couldn't, but it was hard to smile. They actually had misinterpreted what he meant, and he was a little embarrassed about needing to clarify. "Sorry, but I didn't mean leave the spa. Zelda made sure to let me know how much you guys were planning this, I meant that possibly we should--" He was cut off when one of the spa mares came into the steam room. Luckily to relieve them from their time in the steamy, thanks to Zelda, 'steamy' in more than one way, room. Spending some time alone with Zelda is something that he desperately needed almost as much as the need to leave this room. He followed the mares and griffoness to the next part of the spa treatment, keeping in the back, concentrating on the floor and trying to think about nothing else than the material he was trotting on.
  6. Date #1 Dunder tried not to burst out in laughter. Not because he wanted to laugh at the mare, but laughing at the thought of a pony going green at what Harlequin made was not something worth hurting her already probably insecure cooking skills over. Instead, he gave a warm smile and nodded, "Don't worry, I actually failed a test in my school." He grinned big and nervously, rubbing the back of his mane, "When you boil eggs for too long, turns out they go black and burnt. And that was only a part of the required ingredients. Everything else was fine, but when the aggressive instructor throws an egg against the wall only to have it reboud and nick his horn... he gets mad." He told her, quickly standing back up straight. When she asked about his adventures eagerly, he was a little surprised, but not much. He chuckled, smiling again, "Well, never faught a dragon. I've seen a few, though. Only got close once, but we quickly left. Fully drown dragon versus a few ponies is pretty one-sided." He admitted, remembering he was trying to impress the mare. "But, Unyasi cuisine is really good. Lots of spices, and they aren't afraid to put down heavy slabs of hat, either. Some of the best food. Also, their bread is really, really good." He scratched his chin, thinking of something else, "Oh! And Griffons make really good treats Other than that, their food is pretty okay. Their donuts taste good, though. And their soups are pretty good in bread-bowls..." All the mention of food was making him hungry, his stomach gave a small rumble and he had to hold back a light blush, embarrassed.
  7. Dunder stood there, listening to everything she said, nodding at some things and making notes of other things mentally as he listened to Harlequin go on about her aspirations and the state of them. The part about her current work made him a little nervous, he hoped that she wouldn't ask any questions about it...but that was surely not going to happen. Especially that her work was at a four star restaurant in Manehattan... she'd probably think he was a chump if he said he was out of work at the moment. He smiled anyway, then licked his chops in a nervous, but could be misinterpreted as a flirtatious way. "Your introduction was a little silly...but nothing wrong with being a little silly. I actually kind of liked your energy, that's a good trait with being a chef." He said, looking at her back in her hazel eyes, "And it seems like your problem is you are learning from the wrong ponies. 4 star chefs in a Manehattan restaurant? Two things are telling me they are probably snooty. the 4 star and the manehattan part." He said then gave a little chuckle, "I'd recommend going to culinary school before learning from some schmucks that won't listen to you." "And a little nervous about the speed dating? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous myself." He admitted with a slight hint of meek. "But, you are a pretty cute little mare." He said and looked at her with a smile, "And a cute little mare who is going to be a chef at a 4 star restaurant is veeeery desirable." He added and gave her a wink. "Though, When I am a chef in Equestria... I travel a lot. And go exploring and visit other places like griffonlands and the Unyasi. Hence the sword." He pointed back at his cutie mark. "Which is usually what I do. Or, at least, what I love to do. Though, having good chefs out there is a really, really big plus. Which is what I usually do, since a lot of the ponies out there can barely boil water."
  8. Dunder waggled his eyes at Muggo as he took a sip of the freshly poured and frothy cola. He cleared his throat as it stung, "Hm." He said with a little smile, "I was planning on eating here... I can cook my own food, I'll pay for the ingredients." He grabbed his drink, lifting it to take another sip, when he heard his name called. He slowly looked over at the pony who called his name. Was I really called first? Well....somepony was called first, but second.... Dunder thought, looking around to see who was the mare who rested somewhere from lucky to unlucky for being called as Dunder's first and dreaded date in a while. Horrors of dating, something he never wanted to do again. He looked at the mare, to the dismay of his stomach, she was definitely a cute one he thought as some more anxiety piled on. Her mane was unkept, but still had a charming feel about it. Her coat was tan and brown; blotched and exotic looking. Something he could totally dig. He needed to be level-headedl, but he tried not to act like he was in the middle of a horrible depression. He smiled at Muggo' as he backed up, he turned to face towards the mare he was matched with him, when suddenly she leapt and landed, almost falling right on him. But Dunder hardly moved besides moving back and his wings going erect from surprise. As she spoke, he focused on her, big beautiful eyes with his almond shaped ones. He smiled a little big as she let loose her loud greeting, breaking out into a small chuckle as she finished. He rubbed his hoof down his face, calming down from the small outburst of laughter at her energetic introduction. She was certainly one for being full of energy, and he liked that, for a moment able to forget his worries as he smiled, looking away from her nervously. "Sorry....I don't think I can top that." He said and bowed slowly, "My lady..." He added quickly, then stood up back on all fours. He thought of a way for a stallion like himself to keep up with a cute and energetic mare like this one. "My name is Dunder Blust. You are a chef? I am one too. As you can see." He said, moving the side without a sword to show off his cutie mark. He left out the part of his cheffery that was his current unemployment in the field. "And what is your name, aspiring chef?" He asked.

  10. Dunder took a deep breath, forcing some sadness back down as he stopped putting on the armor. He quickly began tearing off his armor, shoving it back in his saddlebags. He laid his saddlebags down next to the door that led to the baths and such, his head low. He trotted out, his tail gone before the scared mare and her new griffon came along. He was staring at the ground, trotting back to the sauna that he had left the mares in, not even listening to the voices of the mare he didn't know he scared away and the griffon she was talking to. He trotted back into the sauna, not even looking up at the mare and griffoness until he sat back down on his towel. There was a long pause before he suggested, "Maybe we should get out of here?" He asked.
  11. Dunder stood up, and trotted over to the bar. He didn't really have all too much to add to any of the conversation, he just sat down and waved to Muggo' "Please, can I get the usual. Just a soda and some fries." He said, quickly reaching into his bag, he pulled out the 6 bits it cost. He turned to swift, "And maybe I end up in your grip, but my sword ends up in your throat." He quickly replied, then stood up again and quickly went up to the pool table, examining the green felt of the playing field and wooden designs on the outer parts and the legs.
  12. Dunder Blust was glad to be a pegasus, as winged creatures in Equestria were able to get around the fastest. And the worrying amount of depression that was building up in Cloudsdale practically forced him out of his new house and away from it all. In vain, of course, he still could feel the depression weighing him down even more than his saddlebags and sword on his side as he flew silently over the Equestria terrain to Fillydelphia. He wanted to see his good buddy friend Muggo'... hopefully in a night that could make him forget for a little while about everything he was going through. When he reached the city, he knew exactly where to fly. Which rooftop to look for over the sea of buildings he was flying above. And when he found the building, landed heavily in the alleyway next to it, and realized where he was going. He took a deep breath, and hung his head for a moment, then took another deep breath, quickly pulling out a lolipop and sticking it in his mouth, trying to relax. He mustered up the courage to go out of the alley, turn, and go up the steps to the Prancing Pony. When he reached the top, he was about to push the door open, when the flyer taped to the inside of the door caught his eye. "SPEED DATING AT THE PRANCING PONY" He looked up at the sign of the store, then back at the flyer, then back at the sign.... Speed dating here? Tonight of all nights? He almost turned around and left... but something made him stay. And he pushed open the door anyway without even thinking about it. When he entered, there were ponies about. None of them he knew, he looked for Muggo' and spotted the stallion talking to.... was that Zelda? He began trotting over when a box caught his attention. A stack of applications next to it. He stopped and eyed it, half-expecting it to burst into flames with his stare. He grabbed and application slowly and pulled out a pen from his saddlebag...filling out all the parts of the application. Leaving out his recent divorce, unemployment, and managing to put down some nice things about himself with a little effort. Trying hard not to think about Fire or Ice or about anything of his life recently as he filled out the "Yes or No", "Multiple Choice," or "short answer" questions. Not like he was thinking highly of any result of this so far anyway. He trotted over to Zelda and Muggo'. "Hey! Muggo'!" He called out with a small smile as he stood next to Zelda, "And Hey, Zelda" He said and gave her a friendly nuzzle on the side of the neck. "I'll order some fries and some soda. Smal for both." He said to Muggo' "Please." He quickly added, looking a little embarrassed.
  13. Submitting my OC! Character name: Dunder Blust Species: Pegasus Reference: http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/098/4/b/4bb7d3a3e7398ae301a6c54624cb2d5c-d4pw577.jpg Pose: Standing there, looking sexy. (As Always) Background?: No background Anything else: Probably a sword on his side, anykind of realistic looking sword.
  14. Dunder sat there, still looking at the ground, concentrating on it more with a blank expression as the mare and griffoness went on. He couldn't stand it, everything they were saying burned. They all had jobs and they were both comfortable with what they were doing in the R.E.A. And there he was, divorced and unemployed. He couldn't help but smile at that, how he had switched form the pony with everything to the pony with everything collapsing on his head. Especially when Fire Walker hugged him and explained everything. He gritted his teeth and snarled for a split second at those words. His heart began to beat faster, each one throbbing more and more and Fire could probably feel it. He began to sweat a little more, even more from the spa. He had to force himself to lift his forelegs up and hug Fire, he took a deep breath as he did, leaning against her and taking another breath of pure defeat. He always knew he'd lose to some rich Canterlot unicorn, but he couldn't cushion the blow this much. He took another deep breath through his teeth, and backed up his head to look at her, "Hehe... I'll probably join the R.E.A... I have nothing else to do." He said and looked to the door, "Though I need to go to the bathroom." He released the mare and stood up, he started to smile as he went to the door. "don't wait for me." He said a little idly as he grabbed his armor and anything else he brought into the room before leaving. He opened the door and trotted down the hallway, his smile gone as he trotted straight to the main room and the front desk. He sat down in the main room and began putting his armor back on, a blank expression on his face as he did.
  15. Dunder was silent. He concentrated on the floor as Fire spoke of the R.E.A. He didn't know what to do, he had a whole new start almost and he had to decide whether to go back to cooking or try again at the R.E.A. "I don't know." He said, "I might, everything is falling apart now, maybe I might as well try to accomplish at least something I've wanted to and become a soldier." He said and sighed heavily, remembering how he always fantasized when a colt about being a Royal Guard and fighting valiantly to defend Equestria and the princesses. Now, those dreams were almost dissolved, but he wouldn't let himself live now as a total loser; divorced, jobless, and barely moved in. Dunder smiled when Zelda spoke, though his heart was in agonizing pain at her words. Why did the griffon find it necessary to fill Dunder with all these unachievable and unbearably happy thoughts? Even one of Celestia's champions. He'd hardly seen any, and barely kissed one with about as much passion on her end as Dunder feels when he takes the trash out. He stayed put when Zelda moved close, even though he felt like sliding away. He definitely looked more attentive when she moved close, but he sighed. "No, the blonde mare can go find a stallion herself." He said, promptly after chuckling at Zelda's gesture with the eyes. "I hope I don't have to look very far, I need something to get my mind off of everything else, everything is looking down I need something good." He said, not able to help it, but he snuck a look over to Fire.
  16. Dunder faked a small smile, glad to be 'friends' but wanting there to be more. He looked up at her, "That all sounds fun." He chuckled, "roasting some high-up REA guy must be fun." He said. He watched her unbraid her long mane, seeing how beautiful she looked. He smiled again, "Well, life's okay. I have no job right now, and I barely am moving into a much smaller house right now. It doesn't feel good, but I really am hoping to get a new start on all this stuff." He said and took a deep sigh, "I don't want to let the past haunt me." He said, then smiled up at Fire, "But thank you for being so kind to me." He said softly, "You know, maybe we could go get some dinner. I could use some company right now, I feel so lonely."
  17. Dunder watched as Swift got totally surprise attacked. Dunder was about to do something...but, he had faith that Swift could handle it himself. Swift always talked so dang highly of his skills all the time. Somepony with a quill on his flank would be somepony that Swift could take down, certainly. Anyway, Dunder didn't want to get any blood on Muggo's floor. He looked back at Aboot, and smiled, "Well, thank you. Kind Itailian sir. My name is Dunder Blust." He said, shaking the hoof back. Dunder looked back at the two barely finished scuffling ponies and nodded, "Yeah, Swift is a bit...in the trust issues area. Don't worry, he'll open up." He chuckled, "and I need to get that pony in a headlock sometimes myself, anyway. Isn't that right, Swift?" He called out to the unicorn stallion.
  18. Dunder sighed, this was all turning out horribly. Maybe he did need to improve his communication skills, but he was too caught up in getting yelled at to think straight. He just wanted to relax now with one of his favorite mares and griffonesses. He wanted to just collapse, his legs and wings were tired after all that flying. Speaking of wings, they jumped to attention when Fire began to rip off some of his armor. Of course, she had experience with this sort of thing, but he helped her anyway. Then he took the towel, wrapped it around his waist and tied it on. He smiled wide again when he saw Zelda, he trotted up to her and wrapped his forehooves around her neck. She was definitely happy to see him and he could tell by the pats that he didn't really oppose but were quickly stopped by Fire Walker. Then Fire asked the question, and he quickly looked away. The question almost was like a slap to the face. Even though he expected it, it was still hard to prepare for. The stallion took a deep breath, then let it out slowly, "Well.... All that happened....was she and I decided....maybe it would be better if we were just friends." He said, barely audible. He looked down at the floor, then back up at Fire, "Please, I don't want to talk about it. If you are wondering why I was late, I moved everything out an back to Cloudsdale last night. Then today, I flew to Canterlot to find you, THEN flew back to Ponyville, landed badly and crashed through the front door." He took a deep breath, "So all I want to do is relax in a....non-drinking way." He said, and took a seat on the spa bench
  19. Dunder was sitting on his rump as he was getting lectured by the pink spa pony. His head was lowered as he glared at the ground. He wasn't having any of it, but after she was done, he lifted his head. He looked a little surprised as he looked her in the eye, "Wait, weren't you at our wedding? I remember a pink pony with a blue mane." He said, as if he hadn't just gotten lectured. "You remember the bride. ... beautiful, wasn't she?" He said, a small smile on his face, "Too bad we-" He was cut off when Fire came in. He was overjoyed to see her again, but he could tell that then wasn't the proper time. He could tell when she was mad...living with a pony constantly made you accustomed to those things. He stood up, "Yeah..." He said, stopping near the counter as she continued on. He took off his scabbard and sword, and saddle bags. He looked at the mare, a blank expression, "Water is bad for the steel, anyway." He said, He trotted along, after Firewalker. He was silent for like half of the way there, then he spoke. "It's good to see you again, Fire." He said, not able to hold back the smile that krept across his face
  20. Dunder groaned internally at these spa ponies' remarks. Why couldn't these ponies just leave him alone? It would be so much simpler, and they wouldn't have to freak out if they just left him alone. But it was not worth being stubborn for these few minutes, anyway, he was going to need to give Fire a good impression since they hadn't seen each other in so long, and now since his marital status changed, he was going to be needing to compete with Swift which was going to be difficult in itself. He took a deep breath and stopped trotting, huffing hot breath out of his nose. He didn't look at the spa mares, but he stood there on the exit out of the main lobby. The blue one was talking when he heard a voice that made his heart skip a beat. A feeling of warmth rushed over him as he heard Fire's voice and this day's search was over. Now just to deal with the obstacles in the way... He looked over at the Spa mares, "What do you want me to do? I paid for my admission, for the door, and even some extra. I swear, just let me in and I will be out of your mane, the griffon and the red mare in the back were expecting me. Well, the griffon was at least. I even paid for my admission, and they have nothing to hide from me." He said, remembering the first time Dunder went to Fire's house and met Zelda. "Please, let me go..." He said , lowering his head sadly.
  21. Dunder didn't even notice the pegasus mare scramble out of the door as he trotted in, he was too tired, and too deadset on seeing Fire and Zelda and thinking about what to say to notice anything else other than what was in front of him, and how much he missed this mare and griffon. Though the mare ran off, before he could get a solid answer for his question. He turned to track her, only to find the front door busted, he could have sworn he didn't slam it that hard, he made sure not to! Now he'd broken the front door, and this spa pony was yelling at him while he was staring back blankly. Just one more thing to deal with... He reached into his bag without saying anything and pulled out a large brown bit purse. He tossed it onto the counter, "There! Take it all, just don't be mad!" He said, shaking his head and then stomping a hoof, trying to regain his composure and original reason for being at the spa in the first place. "I need to see this mare, and I've paid for about 10 ponies' admissions as well as the front door, so..." He said and began to trot forward, into the main spa room, not wanting to waste anymore time.
  22. Suddenly, a large brownish-grey pegasus stallion busted through the door. His chest heaving as he panted, his face full of worry. He held the door open with his hoof, standing in the doorway, trying to regain his composure. He cleared his throat and swallowed nervously. The sword swaying side to side as he trotted toward the front desk. He glanced around, about to hit the bell on the frontdesk when he noticed one of the spa ponies trotting up. He smiled nervously at the mare, trying to reveal his desire to rush, "Hey! I was just wondering if there was a red mare around here? Pegasus mare...probably had armor on....smells like strawberries, her favorite shampoo usually smelt like strawberries." He said, turning his head to look around the room, his eyes darting.
