His mother, quite the groupie back in her years, was big into the wilder bands of her time. His father wasn't as enthusiastic, but when Red went into the junior bands, he took a great liking to the string instruments. He slowly got into harder and harder music, and fell in love with the music of Heavy Metal. He began turning his back away from his friends and family, who wanted him to stay a more calm pony, and found a new group of friends. Not long after he began to refer to himself as Drop D for his new circle, he got his cutie mark. He knew then that music was his destiny. As he grew older, he joined a band with four others, Rough 'n' Tumble, the singer. Whammy Bar, the lead guitarist. Heart Snare, the drummer. Lastly, Slip Scale the keyboardist. They had a small following, despite the publicity their manager, Platnium Disc was trying to get them. During his time, that's when Drop D developed his look to where he is now. The top hat and the hair in the face with a set of glasses as dark as midnight. However, all good things come to an end, and arguments began to erupt between Whammy Bar and Rough 'n' Tumble, and eventually the band was split up. Since the breakup, Drop D's been wandering around Manehattan, trying to find a group that's looking for someone like him. Someone who knows how to party, someone who knows how to play. Low on bits, he fights to stay in his apartment, resolving not to move back in with his parents.
