  1. Dusty turned to look at the dragon, swallowing nervously while looking behind his tinted goggles. "Well it's good to know you like my hair!" He idly mentioned as he headed out of the smith, poking his head in the open door to get his last word in to the dragon. "and it's "You don't think I have ever been underground." other wise it is a double negative. That or I'm hearing you wrong. Either way i've got some digging to do!" He waved a hoof as the door close. Quickly making his way to a hole outside canterlot and disappearing underground."
  2. Xeno had his work cut out for him; dodging the ponies that had followed him. Elluding them was easier than he thought; turning a corner and quickly changing into one of them. He managed to sneek away as they started to go at each other's throats trying to find out who was Xeno. Unfortunately the sudden change put a toll on his fragile head. His disguise dropping as he made his way back, crawling almost under the weight of a debilitating migraine. Flying and instinctively going up for safety. Xeno came back to his senses when explosions shook the whole complex. It was loud and by the sound of it several tunnels and passages collapsed. Xeno looking around at his surroundings; laying behind what looked like a throne in a chamber. Looks like he had escaped his pursuers only to loose himself.
  3. Dusty glanced at the dragon. "No offence but to my knowledge that stuff only occurs in the deepest parts of the planet's crust and lava utterly destroys it so volcano can't bring any to the surface. REGUARDLESS!" He stomped a hoof, clanging at the floor with his shiny new boots. "I'll get right on it if the dragon doesn't beat me to it. heh."
  4. Dusty recognised the ore, tapping his chin as he tried to remember where he had seen it before. "Yeah, thats rare. I've found some before but the little bit was given to my parents for their jewelry work. However...I can get you some. No promise on how much or how pure the ore will be but I can get you Orichalcum. But when would you need it?"
  5. Dusty nodded. "Not a miner specifically but I'm underground all the time and constantly finding mineral deposits. Guaranteed I can get you what you need though. What did you have in mind?"
  6. Dusty rolled his eyes at the dragon's comment. Taking his boots and strapping them on. Crouching, stepping, tapping and twisting his hooves this way and that to feel them out. Smiling as he was more than pleased. "These are great! I think I'll be a regular customer here. I put a lot of mileage on these things."
  7. Dusty returned to the shop after retrieving a load of coal and vial of gold nuggets. Both of which he mines up during his travels and in several secret locations. Pulling a small cart with three fifty pound bags stacked in it. All burlap which he packages himself lest a customer orders by the ton. Unhooking himself and stepping into the shop again. "Here ya go, sir!" Dusty placed a small vial of gold on the counter, probably about an ounce worth. "Brough a hundred and fifty pounds of coal for ya too and left a mailing address in case you ever wish to order supplies from me. I've got a few mines around Equestria." Dusty looked at Black with a wide smile; happy to see the smith working on his boots and that they were coming along very well at that.
  8. "Ah thanks! I'll still get you some payment though." Dusty closed the box and stuffed it back into his bag. "Crazy or not; ya still need resources! I'll be back in a bit." Dusty trotted out of the store. Using this opportunity more for marketing than actual purchase. Seeing as Black offered it free of cost; he figured offering what he can supply may earn him another customer. Not like he has any shortage of coal anyways and theres always a market for gold too.
  9. What an interesting day. Now he just wanted to get his boots repaired. Waiting for Black to tend to him, very grateful of it and sorry that today has been so hectic. "Ah thanks. I just need my boots repaired." He pointed to his steel boots; heavily scuffed and dented from his work. Pointing specifically to large cracks in the metal plates on each of them. "I don't have any bits but." He turned his attention to the box, flipping it open to reveal vials of all sorts containing different samples. "I can pay in iron ore, copper, tin, zinc, bauxite, salt, coal, or just gold. I also could pay in gemstones if you'd find them more useful.
  10. Dusty staggered, patting Black on the shoulder as thanks when he helped him to his hooves. Sighing and picking up his saddle bags on his way to the counter. Flipping it open and placing his metal boots on the counter next to a wooden box as well. Waiting for Black, admiring the zebra's patience with this situation.
  11. Dusty toppled to the floor in a daze on his back. "uuhhghh...no mom I don't wanna go to the Galaaaaa..." he mumbled, slowly regaining himself from paralasys
  12. Dusty yelped, swinging his hooves at the air at the dragon. "Put me down before I sink you down a fissure!" He yelled loudly. Looking down and realizing he wasn't touching the ground. Freezing in place as if he was made of stone. Petrified of heights.
  13. Dusty peered over from behind the counter as the dragon now in the store. Sighing in defeat and resting his head on the counter top while now in the presence of the dragon.
  14. It's times like this when Dusty is thankful he is underground all the time. Not so thankful that he needs his boots repaired. Just his luck to have a dragon causing a ruckous and a pony apparently not able to control her friend. Keeping himself safe and scooting around in the shop till he was hiding behind the counter now.
  15. "duh...uh...what youre not surprised by a dragon outside?" Dusty went almost slack jawed at that notion. Not particularly fond of dragons himself so he was laying low in the shop and shaking a bit. Not noticing the outstretched hoof.
