Well could see it as a one time thing. Think about it though, its a classic villain move. Find the powerful goodie with a dark past and use it to corrupt them again. I just see a green, slit, eyed lunar adviser slinking around luna twisting the words and actions of her sister and friends, right after she messes something up that she feels her friends will hate her for. *slides around* "she banished you once" *slinky slink* "What makes you think she wont do it again?"..."You heard what Twilight said, she "needs time to think" I bet she's ratting you out to your sister as we speak." *slither slink* "Are you really going to let them imprison the princess of the night again? Ruler of the stars! Rightful Queen!" *slinks away to let it sink in* See like that ^w^

sounds like a darth vader-esque scenario. Discord with his ability to bring out a pony's dark side could easily bring her to that but then think for a second. Nightmare moon wanted eternal night. Not very chaotic if you ask me. If at all, since I do find it highly unlikely, I see the changeling queen infiltrating again as someone close to her to put poison in her ear. Like a jafar style manipulation perhaps with a bit less spell binding since I think a royal princess would most likely catch that happening.

a truly inspiring story my friend. My dream? Its changed a few times on the specifics but the general core motif has always remained the same. I want people to know me and I want my voice to be heard. Heard in a way that raises the spirits of the world. Heard in a way that brings joy to the hearts of the many. I want to make and be a part of things that inspire people all over. As of right now that dream rest on me finding my way to a radio station or a recording booth. Hopefully to either sing or talk into a microphone whether it be over radio on the big screen or the small. I dont even care if they never see my face, I know there is magic in my words even if I forget sometimes and doubt myself. We all have those moments where we cant believe its possible, I cry, I ask for help, I struggle to believe it. Then we have those moments where we feel ready to face the world, confident in all that we do, and when we know that what we do means something to the world. Ive gotten a very small taste of it on this site, but it isnt enough I want to make a bigger difference I want the world to hear me.

this is pure evil... like seriously erasing time and manipulating it like that goes beyond my perception of ethical science. I feel like we are getting dangerously close to breaking the universe with this one.....

I apologize the choice of thread caused a personal issue but perhaps you should explain to your friends that this is one of literally thousands of threads on this site and one does not represent the bunch, that was the entire idea of spreading around the highlights so that we werent always nominating the threads with the best writing or quality. If you want your friends to see the kind of rp you believe sets a good example then YOU can show it to them, we dont cater to any one user we aim to be the voice of everypony here. This way we give a broad foundation for the type of rp to be found here. Please no more discussion on this topic, thank you.

The rest of the podcast team has read your comments and I speak for all of them when I say that we would like for this debate to end before things get too heated. We have taken all of your opinions into account and will keep them in mind when next we choose a thread of the week. Please allow us to do the rest of the debating (for we have rpers of all skill levels and expereince on the the team allowing for a wide base) to avoid any further conflict, at least on this thread, thank you

wonderful! once we get everybody together we can try to figure out the times we can get together and chat as of now its still difficult getting the group together but once everypony is on board Im sure we can figure something out

Thread of the week is about more than just one thing. It will be used for more than just one purpose, so if we a thread that has some truly excellent rping and could use some attention we will do a spotlight for it. If we see a thread that looks like a lot of fun and could use some love, we will spotlight it. Like I said not everyone has the skill or necessary time to develop that skill to rp at your level and steel eagles. In fact I'd wager most members here dont have that capacity. So please keep this in mind that we are looking not just for great writing but fun and ability to be enjoyed by all. As I said if we see a thread that really deserves a spotlight for some truly phenominal rping fear not that it will have its day in the sun, and also and yes rosewind that wiill certainly make for interesting discussion

well it was a short hand decision we picked it quickly literally 5 min before we started recording because it stood out and well we want to try to be fair. not everyone is a great rper so we want to spread the love

if you'd be willing be a guest on the podcast for another more detailed segment on HoE manestream we'd be happy to have you! and steel eagle would you mind clarifying what you mean that you disagree with the thread so we can improve?
